Pros: Pretty much everything. Great staff, facilities, and beds... the breakfast was fantastic.
Cons: It’s a chain- you don’t really get a feeling you’re in a new interesting place... which may be a good thing depending on your needs as a traveler. When we were there, that part of town smelled like burnt Corn Nuts but not so much inside the hotel.

Pros: Staff was great. Very clean. Breakfast was decent and coffee was very good...big plus.

8.7 Excellent (746 reviews)

It’s a premier destination that many travelers love to be a part of. At a distance of around 7 miles from the property in the quaint village is the Seneca Falls Country Club. Within the same radius is Fingerlakes Regional Airport, which makes the place accessible to the guests. The rooms at The Gould Hotel are shrouded in elegance and tradition while continuing to be stylish and hip in their appearance. An elegant establishment amidst a serene environment is what sets The Gould Hotel apart and makes it a popular choice of accommodation for many travelers to the Seneca Falls region.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was adorable, clean and modern and situated on the "main" street. Staff was friendly and personable. We were in the king suite; it was exactly what I hoped it would be. Bedroom is separate from the seating area. The suite was intimate, nicely decorated, with a chandelier above the cozy bed. Room came equipped with a microwave and mini-fridge. Breakfast is simple and at-par with what is expected for a continental breakfast. I'd recommend for a weekend getaway, if you check in on a Friday-Saturday; Sunday is definitely the day of rest in that area.
Cons: Check-in was a bit more time consuming than expected... not a bad experience but we were tired from the (short) drive and hoped it would have been quicker. Two on staff, one managing reservations on the phone. Great for business, but not so great to those waiting a half hour just to check in an already-reserved room. Hotel suggestion: Consider having robes for your guests.
7.5 Good

With accommodations laced with modern, clean lines and artful statement pieces, the Del Lago Resort Casino balances a sense of comfort with intrigue. The senses are stimulated by everything from the layout of the rooms to the luxurious spa experience. The spa treats guests to unlimited use of the spa facilities for the entire day. This allows guests to experience the spa on their own terms, and at their own relaxed pace. There is an herbal steam room that uses the aromas of natural herbs to enhance the relaxation experience. The cedar wood sauna continues the hug of the senses as guests allow the cares of the day to ease out through their pores. On top of that, the fitness center provides the chance for guests to work up a healthy sweat. An ideal capstone to the experience is a relaxed lunch at Sociale Café. The experience will pay dividends even long after guests leave. The dining experience offers a similarly personally catered experience. Thought and care are put into each dish, and guests have multiple options as to how they enjoy the fare. There is a lunch buffet on Monday and Tuesday in January that clocks in at a mere $10 per person. The Portico by Fabio Vivani provides exquisite class with high end finishes and comfortable modern seating options. The Social caps off the experience with mouth-watering treats such as roasted turkey or prime rib dinners. The dessert is on the hotel as it comes free when guests make a reservation online. 5.8 Okay
Pros: Conveniently located off the Thruway.
Cons: The Front desk staff upon arrival too busy eating pizza. Seemed put out that we were interrupting their pizza party. We called ahead to see about early check in and were told we could check in between 2-2:30. We arrived at 2:20 ish. My husband was on crutches and I believe out of spite we were given a room on the second floor all the way to the end. A few minutes later my daughter falls in the lobby and the staff couldn’t be bothered to help her up or see if she was ok. I was also told that the people who checked in right behind us got a room on the first floor. When confronted with all this we were moved to one of about 6 rooms available on the first floor. On a summer weekend in the Finger Lakes no manager on duty. I was told that she would be in on Monday. I called on Monday, left a message and ultimately had to call back as my call was not returned. When I did speak to the manager I told her my experiences and was told that there were 3 sides to the story and proceeded to defend her staff and hung up on me. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at this hotel. There is a Hampton Inn across the street, stay there.
