The rooms are very big, very clean and with hydromassage in the bat hroom.Absolutellt perfect buffet breakfast and private indoor parking.Great value of money
Nothing fancy, has everything you need for a short stay. Practical, easy access to San Marino (by car). Expected more choice for breakfast.
Staff, services available, and breakfast
Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The rooftop pool and area looked wonderful for relaxing on a warm day! The staff were helpful and cheerful Cooked food at breakfast was not good. It was over cooked and had been there for some time
The location of the hotel is excelent, just a few km from the city center. They have a good brekfast and nice pool with sauna
Good location , clean and comfortable-a good value the taff was friendly and helpful answering questions about the area and suggesting restaurants. Only about 15-20 minutes from the old city at the top of the mountain
Good service and good value. Restaurant satisfactory if a bit dull and again good value
Had three cups of coffee and they cut me off. Said it would be extra
Clean, elegant, good location if you have a car. Thin walls make it noisy at times
Staff were very helpful Cost...Facilities (lack of...Bar??)
the breakfast buffet nothing
Fresh hotel, nice personnell, free parking., gym. Need a car to get up to sightseeing spots of the mountain. No free internet.
no wifi, internet on 1 hotel computer only... Hellooo, it's XXI century...
good extra bed loose fitting making lot of noises, fridge out of order
Only passing through for one night so adequate
Very good location, nice staff and room, close to pubric parking and very cheep.
Excellent and convenient location, next to the Centro Storico. Staff are very polite and friendly Breakfast was poorely balanced: all kinds of freshly baked sweets, but that was all about it really
The helpfullness & welcoming of the staff The problem is that the design of the bedrooms with connecting doors make you as if you are living with the person nextdoors, so it is not very quiet if they talk
the staff was extremely helpful with my special birthday cake request and placed the cake in the minibar by the time we arrived - perfect birthday surprise! none
Location, lovely staff N my room the case stood closely with a bed and consequently did not open at all. In a shower there was no hair dryer. The panel from the tv did not work. Over a bed the fixture had no lamp shade.
Close to train and transportation. Spacious rooms. Sofabed was very uncomfortable. No cots were available. Ended up with mattress on floor.
Very good location, nice staff and room Poor breakfast
The view from the hotel was amazing - the best place to stay in San Marino! The parking was only a few meters from the hotel, the staff was nice and helpful. We had a great day there!
The location was perfect. Very small rooms. Especially room No. 103 is not bigger than 10 sq.m., which is not acceptable for a 4-star hote.
Reception staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Location. Quality of furnishings and fittings was of a very high standard. Car parking was easily dealt with. Breakfast staff poor. Egg boiling facilities abysmal. Only UHT milk (ugh!) readily available for poor selection of cereals
Great location. Great services. No problem at all.
Very nice hotel in great location and stunning views. Would like to have stayed longer. Great value for money.
Location next to the ramparts and the car park. Very good restaurant as well. The room was not as colorful or sizable as represented on the website, but still comfortable, to be sure.
Nice hotel, perfect location Standart room is too small...
Near to the attractions (3 towers etc...) walkable distance. Nice dinner menu at the hotel restaurant. Friendly staff. Had some difficulties finding the hotel as the only way leading to the hotel & the nearby public carpark is under some road works. had to park at a further public carpark and drag our luggage to the hotel. The allocated room (Room 101) is very noisy!! Just beside the stairs, u can hear people walk past and talking. It is also just above the reception area, u can hear the conversations below your room.
This was a fine hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and quiet. Its location was perfect in order to visit the city...which was the purpose of my visit.
Exellent localizatrion. 200 meters from "centro storico". Comfortable room, air conditon - ok. Breakfast - continental but ok. Very nice personel. Parkink to pay....
Excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very well situated to explore San Marino, with spectacular views. Not really.
Excellent room. Friendly and helpful staff.
Easy to stroll to historic centre, good choice of vegetarian food on evening menu, spacious room with 2 comfortable chairs, good bathroom size.wonderful views from bedroom balcony, friendly staff.
The staff were very helpful and did everything they could to help us. The location is excellent and there is parking on site.
excellent view from balcony, very helpful staff, especially young lady at reception desk.
Fantastic location, staff very helpful, good breakfast. Rooms were huge. Very quiet old world hotel in a beautiful part of the world.
It was very central and the views were spectacular. The rooms were furnished to a high standard and the staff were friendly and professional.
Staff was super friendly and helpful The best of the hotel Everything was old. Including the beds. Water pressure was poor Breakfast was mediocre at best Rooms had no personality
excellent location and price. very friendly staff, rich breakfast we had to park the car far from the hotel, since the hotel is located in restricted area, even if on booking it was written there was parking lot available. I didn't know if I could enter the restricted area, being guest of the hotel.
We stayed at the Terrace Room, which has a beautiful terrace / balcony that overlooks the valley and city of San Marino. It was a fantastic room and view. The staff there were very friendly, except one German lady who worked at the reception = she was a bit rude and unfriendly. However, the other Receptionists were excellent and friendly. Overall we will definately stay there if we ever go to San Marino again. There is a German Receptionist, (there are other receptionists too) who was very rude, and unprofessional....... However, she was only there for our first day, of Check-in. Fortunately her shift ended over night, and I didn't have to see her again for the remainder of our stay. The other receptionists were excellent, and friendly. No other complaints.
very freindly and helpfull staff The size of the room was very small
The location was great The bathroom was spacious Breakfast buffet had a large selection of fruit which was welcomed Nothing
Only two blocks from the bus stop, but in San Marino blocks run up and down. Easy to find though. I went down a flight to my room from the front desk and still had a view over a steeple and rooftops and for twenty miles of mountains. Wonderful place, excellent hotel.
The location and the panoramic view fro our room window. Lots of shopping, restaurants, and great physical beauty of the surrounding land. The room air-conditioner was not adequate. We had to move the bed several feet to be in the line of the "breeze', but it still didn't help much. Although we are fit, other people should know that physical conditioning should be very good to walk around the San Marino City. Streets are at least 45 degrees straight up! Everywhere!
The view was stunning. The hotel was charming
wonderfull restaurant on 1st floor old bathroom, not comfortable
Good place in wonderful country
amazing views from our balcony - not the biggest of rooms but clean and comfortable. right in the middle of old san marino - parking was in a garage about 500 meters away and it is easy to miss as you drive up the mountain
The hotel is very good located. The bathroom was too small. The water stream from the shower was very weak. There was a poor breakfast without hot dishes and fruits. Waiter persistently offered us free seats in the somebody's else table. Hotel workers were very loud early in the morning. So, the hotel was hardly 3 stars. It was looking much better 4 years ago. We regret choosing this hotel as a place to stay.
The price was affordable and Its perfect for a group of friends. The staffs were so kind and friendly.
Outdated, bath cap for pool required
Different from the normal hotel more of a motel in the rural countriside
great location for spa.
there wasn't hot water and air condishaner.
Lovely quiet room, NIce swimming Pool (You must wear a swimming cap if you want to use the pool (can be purchased for 1.50). Lovely views. Good facilities within the caravan park. Pizzeria and Minimart located onsite. Staff were not the friendliest or terribly helpful but OK, Internet point was well away from our room. A bit difficult to find by car. Location on google maps is incorrect and the name on Booking.com is incorrect. Look for "Centro Vacanze" it is about 100m south of the intersection of 'Strada di San Michele' and 'Strada Capellini'
A typical family hotel with rooms in seperate little houses in a beautiful garden with a good restaurant with good value for money. The obligation of swimming with a pool cap. And personally there were too many Dutch people for me.
It was located well enough to walk into the main areas and certainly a quiet enough stay with a friendly family-run staff. The breakfast (included in the price) was somewhat spartan and early checking out had to make cash payments as the systems aren't available at 7am! Could be embarrassing if you've no ready cash. I've said I wouldn't freely recommend the place but it certainly wasn't an unpleasant experience, just not quite to my preference.
I was well looked after ,good location and would stay there again which i will next year no
Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Renovations are still being made, so part of the hotel is a construction site, but we got lucky with our room since it was on the other side and even had a balcony.
The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The restaurant, Piccolo, attached to the hotel is fantastic!! Great food and wonderful ambiance. I highly recommend it even if you are not staying at the hotel. It was not within easy walking distance of the old town; requires car or public transportation. The room was quite small but very nice.
The restaurant downstairs was nice and we had quite a good meal. We arrived while the hotel was shrouded in scaffolding and plastic sheeting. Our room had just been finished - the balcony was still a building site with plaster rubble and old carpet everywhere. The outside space was a building site and stank of drains. While I appreciate the owner has to continue in business, I feel the hotel should have notificed you of the state it was in. I would have moved elsewhere if I had had the chance.
Hotel is still under renovation works on the outside.
Short walk to historic part of the city. Free parking.
clever design-the view breakfast
The hotel owner Mario, was the friendliest guy we met in our whole trip and he made our stay there amazing. His restaraunt, il Piccollo was great and the food was excellent! The rooms were small but clean and stylish and we had free wifi and free parking. I strongly recommend it - Great value for money!
The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The scenery was amazing. A lovely stay in a very nice and clean hotel. It was a bit weird that you have to pay an extra 7 Euros a day to use the hotel parking places.
Good welcome and accommodating staff Right on the main, busy, road. OK for an en-route stop.
very friendly staff, convenient to bus stop, good air conditioning and large shower, walking disstance to chair lift. was on a highway, no restaurants near by. Breakfast was very minimal and a bit strange. ie cereal but no milk, toaster threw toast on the floor, coffee machine broken.
Great views of San Marino. Easy access to the funicular to the centre. Friendly staff.
The hotel was no more than adequate. the room was comfortable but, as it was on the front of the building and overlooked a busy duel-carriageway road, noisy. Breakfast was OK but we've had better. Mainly the position on a noisy busy road. Also the town was not easily accessable from the hotel - at least a half hour walk to the chair-lift.
didn't liked anything when cneking out, to bring out the money, that blocked, not another. there should be an opportunity to use blocked money for the payment for the room.
Friendly staff, good service, aperitif and a bottle of sparkling wine as a welcome present on 31.12. According to googlemaps its not one but two kilometers to the cable chair. Furthermore the website says "cable chair up the mountain is just a short 1 kilometre walk", but the staff at the hotel told us, that it wasn't possible to walk there, which is true because it's a rather long way next to the big street going up the hill!
