Pros: Great room and fantastic breakfast each morning!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are very kind and have lots of helpful tips regarding places to visit. We received a warm welcome. Ines makes an absolutely delicious and healthy breakfast, every morning something else. The view from the balcony is beautiful. The sound of the ocean waves crashing on the beach is relaxing, especially when accompanied by a glass of fresh orange juice from Peter.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and clean apartment. Fantastic balcony: huge, and has a great view!
Cons: Unfortunately smoking is allowed on the balcony. While it’s a huge balcony, you can never escape the smoke. As such we couldn’t enjoy the balcony when someone else was smoking.

Pros: Absolutely perfect apartment in every way! The rooms were exactly as they appear in the pictures. Peter was an excellent host, so accommodating and welcoming with a genuine desire to make our time there special. We had read a lot of reviews about the breakfast and now we understand why - each one tasted delicious and was different every day. Highly recommended a stay at Cali Luxury Apartments!

Vila De Sol - Sesimbra - Building
2
9.6 Excellent (189 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Villa de Sol is situated between Lisbon and Setubal, 3 kilometres from Sesimbra and its beaches. All the other beaches and the nature- protected hinterland around (ca. 10Km) can be reached very quickly. The area Quintinha is exclusively made up of well-built villas, really quiet, despite the local transport network with a regular bus line to the centre of Sesimbra and the beaches or to Lisbon not being far away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was quiet, beautiful and comfortable. A beautiful and rich breakfast was served, the staff was friendly and always available when needed. Maria was very kind, open and always thought two steps ahead, providing maps, advice and everything to brighten our mood.
Cons: nothing, it was perfect.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The house was beautiful, very comfortable and immaculately presented. Maria was the perfect host, extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was exceptional. We wished we could have stayed alot longer.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A lovely buffet breakfast with a wide variety and choice. The layout was beautiful and must have taken considerable time and effort.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly owner. Perfect breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The host is absolutely lovely. She will make sure you'll feel at home and your stay will be exceptional without being too much present or making you feel 'watched'. Lovely pool and garden. Breakfast is great and special dietary wishes were no problem. The house has large living rooms and a large kitchen with everything you need in case you want to cook at home. Otherwise you will also get the restaurant recommendations for Sesimbra. Great bonus points: towels, beach umbrella's etc are available for rent for a very small fee if you want to go to the beach and the rooms were cleaned to perfection daily. Overall, highly recommend! I've never felt more welcome!
Cons: -
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner Maria and her team were lovely. A superb breakfast, a comfortable room. Everyone was so kind and helpful.
Cons: We expected the house to be closer to Sesimbra, but we had a car so drove in. Sometimes had parking problems and weather was cooler than expected.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Just amazing and so welcoming and comfortable.
Cons: You will need a car!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed two nights in Vila do Sol, UNFORTUNATELY, only two nights. Maria made us the stay unforgettable, didn’t matter with which wish we approached her, she made everything possible! The rooms were very clean, spacious and also cleaned once per day! The surrounding was very quiet and the place had a lot of relaxing spots within the property. Finally, the breakfast: we were only 4 people at this time in the vila but the breakfast was big enough to fill the stomachs of 10 people. Everything what comes to your mind was provided, even pancakes. We highly recommend this place and we will come back for sure!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fabulous - food, service, advice about things to see and places to eat, and room. Excellent pool, too! And Maria is a lovely and engaged host.
Cons: Barking dog across the street, but no serious deficiencies at all. Vila de Sol is a fantastic place to stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Vila de Sol is an idyllic place for me. Maria and all her staff treated us like friends and we were so well looked after. The entire property is pristine clean. The room was beautifully presented and cleaned every day. The en suite bathroom was well stocked with towels and toiletries and also cleaned to perfection every day. The buffet breakfast was so generous and varied and we loved how beautifully the table was decorated every morning! We often had the entire place to ourselves sunning by the pool and enjoying a beer from the well stocked honesty bar. The pool is a great size and kept so clean. Maria supplies poolside towels too so our every need was catered for. This is a great location for a day trip to Lisbon, which is only an hour away. Maria dropped us to the bus stop and we went bus and ferry and enjoyed great sightseeing in the beautiful city of Lisbon and then got the bus back to Seisimbra for our evening meal. We definitely want to go back!
Cons: We didn’t have a car, so we had to taxi in to Seisimbra for our evening meals. Seisimbra by the way has many wonderful restaurants, all we found were reasonably priced. It was a small inconvenience though and Maria helped us with a taxi phone number. We tried Uber but found it unreliable. There are usually plenty of taxis at the central taxi rank in Seisimbra to return in the evening, we found it helpful to leave before 11pm. Maria also couldn’t have been more helpful to us and gave us lifts to the local church and into town on our first evening. She genuinely is a wonderful hostess and made our trip so easy and delightful!
Casa Teresinha - Sesimbra - Building
3
9.5 Excellent (207 reviews)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Kind and helpful hosts, good choice of food for breakfast, separate bathroom.
Cons: The location is some way from Sasari( where I thought I was booking) so a car was essential to reach decent restaurants and beaches etc.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owners of Casa Tereshina are really great hosts! They take care of all possible needs of their guests. They go even the "extra-mile" to respond to their guests requests. We were there for work and we had hectic agendas, but we really appreciated their kindness and thoughtful attention for us by fitting in our "demanding" timing to offer us the breakfast. Thank you very much! We received also good and useful hints for places and restaurants we could visit. Really helpful. We recommend Casa Teresinha if you are planning to visit Sesimbra and surroundings.
Cons: The only inconvenience it that some of the rooms have the bathroom outside, but as a private use. It was announced in the reservation process but I didn't actually figure it out properly until I was on site. But it worked well anyway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an excellent B&B. Probably the best that I have ever stayed in. The double bedroom was very comfortable and a nice touch to have complementary water, wine, biscuits and Fanta. The breakfast choice was very extensive beautifully laid out. Off street parking and pool.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Facilities, friendliness of the owners/staff, good breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are amazing. They will give you all the local tips, so that you avoid the tourist traps and find the best local restaurants. They provide free snacks and drinks and even prepare breakfast. Everything is clean, cannot complain about anything. Would definitely stay here again , If I came to sesimbra again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful and welcoming hosts Home away from home Excellent breakfast Beautiful garden and a parking bay
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Owners are really kind making all efforts for us to spend great time. Breakfast is excellent, room very clean, also some gift at our arrival. Price is really good for the quality
Cons: The only point, which is quite personnal preference, the bed was for us too ´hard’ we have the habit of a soft/smooth bed, one more time it is quite personnal. Someone else will enjoy. Thank you again for your hospitality
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly ,helpfull hosts
Cons: Steps in the house .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were really nice and were happy to share their home, and were friendly but not intrusive. The house and grounds were very well kept - a labor of love.
Cons: The bathroom was separate from the room, had to cross a public area. Robes were provided.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and the garden and swimming pool are very attractive

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was so friendly and helpful, we wish we had stayed longer. Upon arrival they showed us a map where all their recommendations are, and a helpful list of the best restaurants and things to do in the area. The breakfast was amazing - freshly scrambled eggs, selection of meat and cheeses, fruit and yoghurt with lots of different cereals to choose from. They run an honesty bar throughout the day with a selection of snacks, beer, wine, etc. Room was spacious and clean with a little private outdoor area. Highly recommended!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is the perfect place to rest and recover. Lovely garden and delicious homemade breakfast. You definitely need to stay more than one night to enjoy the charm of the guest house and the friendly stuff. We have been here the second time and stayed for one week. We enjoyed it the same way like at our first stay. It's located quiet in the country side but close to beaches and other sightseeing attractions like wine estate, local markets and hiking paths. By car you reach Lisbon, Sintra, Evora in one hour. We like to thank our guest keeper Mario, Eduardo and Diana. Muito obrigado. We had a great time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cosy, comfortable and wonderful staff. Thanks to Mario and Eduardo for their hospitality and great travel suggestions. Not to forget their superb breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful and tasty breakfast. Great room and rainshower in bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!!
Cons: /
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and helpful host and AMAZING breakfast !! Location seems a little out of the way when you are driving the first time but what a welcome surprise! Such a lovely spot with a lot of effort gone into making it special.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property location was as we expected given that we already have a handle on the location and we chose it because of its location. On arrival the welcome was warm, friendly and informative by Eduardo who also provided us with a several paged information leaflet advising where to visit and dine along with contact telephone numbers, could not have been more informative. The breakfast was very fresh, plentiful with a great variety on offer, including the offer by Eduardo to cook us scrambled and or fried eggs. The coffee most enjoyable as the machine used grinds the fresh roasted coffee beans in front of you before processing your coffee. Mario the owner visited at breakfast time and was most hospitable and easy to converse with.
Cons: The accommodation was more than adequate, was typical of this region, definitely rustic and would benefit from a touch more TLC here and there but not too much so as it would detract from the charm and character of the place, comfortable and very clean throughout. If in the region again we would most definitely return to Senhora do Cabo Meco Homy!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I do had a wunderful stay at Senhora do cabo meco. I was warmly welcomed by Eduardo and he gave me all the informations about the places to visit at the aera and recomended great restaurants. My room (Nr. 4) was perfect. Everything is designed with love and detailed. The bed is absolutly comfortable. The bathroom is made with natural materials and is ver nice too. There is also a Patio but i didnt use it, as i was mostly during the day visiting beaches and making excursions and when i came back at night it was already to cold and windy to sit outside. Eduardo and Mario were also very carying as i was traveling alone. For sure it is a place for couples but i felt myself very comfortable. The breakfast, yes definitly the highlight to start the day. All made with love and nicely done. lovely. See you soon.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts, great breakfast, great location.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely time staying here. Everything is beautifully designed, and breakfasts (as reported) are great, with delicious daily variations thanks to Eduardo. There’s so much to explore and do in this region that, like other guests, we hardly made use of the pool. Our room was very comfortable with stacks of storage space. The gardens are delightful, with some impressive mature specimen trees. This is very much a place to relax and unwind, encouraged by Eduardo whose twinkling calm mirrors the tranquillity of the sea. And Mario is the ideal host – I couldn’t help thinking of the Great Gatsby: “It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it, that you may come across four or five times in life. It faced – or seemed to face – the whole external world for an instant, and then concentrated on you with an irresistible prejudice in your favor.” They have a gift for making everyone feel welcome and at home.

Pros: Nice property 15 min walk to one of Europe's best beaches. Calm, quiet and relaxing. 5 min by car to the little village with good restaurants
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the most special places we’ve ever stayed. Beautiful property, lovely room, breakfast was unique and yummy, property hostess, Mafalda, was gracious & welcoming.
Cons: Nothing to not like! Wonderful!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: From the first moment we entered the gate until the moment we left, the only goal of the staff was to make us feel as comfortable as possible!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Relaxing atmosphere in a quiet park location where you can hear the breaking of the waves and everybody can enjoy the sun on his/her own way.... swimming in the pool, hanging around on the terrace or in the garden on the “fat boys “ reading or just enjoying a conversation... Bye the way, cool breakfast style
8.8 Excellent
Pros: personal touch, beautiful / good taste
Cons: heating could have been better
7.9 Good
Pros: Charming country house with very good outdoor facilities ( nice garden, swimming pool, jacuzzi).
Cons: A bit over priced for what it is. Some services could be improved. For instance you can cook in some of the rooms which have kitchens but dishwashing is not included in the housekeeping (while the room at that time was 230 euros/night). You have to pay an extra fee or do it yourself.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect garden and pool. A real oasis of peace. The gluten free options were an unexpected bonus.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A gem of a place. Thoughtfully put together by the owners and very low key and chilled. With easy access to fantastic beaches nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful haven of tranquility, friendly and helpful staff, lovely swimming pool, super spacious accommodation with terrace
Casa de Calhariz - Sesimbra - Building

9.2 Excellent (112 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything, space, location, very quiet and especially the staff. Special thanks to Ines and Carlos.
Cons: That we had to leave...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for 9 nights and basically everything was brilliant. Beautiful, green and calm surroundings. Spacious rooms. Clean. Well equiped. Great pool. Friendly atmosphear, helpful and pleasant host and staff. The location is superb. About 4 km to a great supermarket and 20 km to the fantastic beaches of the Setubal peninsula
Cons: Maybe because we left on a Sunday, there was nobody around at the time for check out and we had not been given any prior information regarding check out procedures. We eventually succeded in reaching our host by a phone call in order to know what to do with the Keys. Leaving the keys however also meant leaving the tool to open the premises gate (which is closed on weekends). Since we could not open it, we could not drive our car out. Luckyli, after a while, some other guest with a key was driving out from the gated area and we could get out. Not a big issue but a little surprising considering everything else being so smooth and enjoyable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an amazing place. It's like staying in the annexe of a stately home. It's so quiet and beautiful and the grounds of the estate are wonderful. There are free bycicles to cycle around on. Lusitano horses nearby. The swimming pool is fabulous and very quiet. Sesimbra is 10 minutes drive away with wonderful local restaurants. I cannot praise this place too highly. Fabulous!
Cons: Some of the cycle paths around the estate could be better signed. The satnav directions take you to the service entrance and at night this is closed. To get back around to the Maca entrance is very difficult.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely lush place. Beautiful location, spacious house. Kids loved the pool and the bikes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location close to nice beaches and close enough to Lisbon to take day drips to the museums there. Great cycling opportunities around the estate where the holiday home is located. Cycling away from busy roads but through beautiful countryside.
Cons: Quite isolated, not near bars and restaurants but that suited me - I like peace and quiet!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a spectacular property which belongs to a local Duke. The houses were once housing for the workers. They have been renovated nicely and are quite comfortable and clean. There is an awesome pool area and get the host in charge to take you on a tour of the gardens, they are wonderful! The young lady who worked there was very knowledgeable and sweet. This place is very out in the middle of nowhere, so be prepared. You want to bring provisions with you as there is no food available on the property. We loved the remoteness and it was just what we were looking for for a weekend respite from our busy schedule in Portugal.
Cons: We didn’t figure out that there were pull down screens available until we were leaving. The bugs prevented us from leaving the windows open at night. So make sure you ask about the screens!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, well-designed room layouts, great facilities. Some rooms with lovely views over the countryside. Lovely outside space. Great welcome from Inês and André. Would come again!
Cons: The main wifi point wasn't working so we struggled a bit to get connection. Houses need more cups/glasses/plates/salad bowls, etc - it's not sufficient to have just one of everything. There is a rule about not using towels for the beach/swimming but it would have been useful to have this information in advance if they expected this rule to be respected. It would have been great to have some of the basics in the houses - like oil/salt/pepper etc - makes such a difference when staying somewhere. Otherwise all really great!
Casa da Praca Guest House - Sesimbra - Patio

8.9 Excellent (206 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We thought the location looked good on the map, but in person it was even better! We had a sea-view from our balcony, which was a nice surprise!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great position.
Cons: Wifi was useless in the room (1st floor) The room is very small so you can't properly open the cupboard.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Good location, staff were nice at time of stay - unfortunately they handled the bed bug situation pretty poorly.
Cons: BED BUGS! DO NOT STAY HERE! Both my friend and I were completely destroyed by bed bugs. Mine was so bad that I had to go on steroids and take time off from work when I returned to Australia. Gave the hotel notice but all they were willing to do was deny it could have been there, despite the photos of the bites and the fact that they appeared the mornings we woke up there. First night we just thought they were a rash, second night woke up with a lot more and then they evolved into huge welt bites over the coming days. Poor service and poor handling of the situation. For the price of the accommodation I would not expect bed bugs! Travelled for years through Central America and Asia in hostels without a problem!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location and excellent staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely guest house, very stylishly furnished, centrally located, though still quiet (good noise isolation). Extremely friendly reception staff, delicious croissants for breakfast available on ground floor.
Cons: Parking is a bit of an issue as very scarce around the guesthouse. It depends on being lucky and finding a space closeby (highest parking rate though) or walking for 10 minutes to the nearest public parking lot (lowest rate).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Shower drain is slow to drain
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Casa da Praça is beautiful and clean. It is extremely close to the main beaches in Sesimbra. The staff was very nice and assisted us with anything that we needed during our stay. Thank you!
6.0 Good
Pros: Excellent location, very friendly staff, nice views
Cons: Rooms are too small, bathrooms are tiny (could easily place extra shelving and storage in it). No drinking water provided, no breakfast facility available before 8:30AM.
4.2 Okay
Cons: Hotel has no common space and at night it is noisy as there is people in the street talking. No breakfast or help from the staff...
8.8 Excellent
Cons: No glasses in room. Bit overpriced. Very compact.

6.7 Good
Pros: Great location, great pool.
Cons: Staff not that helpful. Room had an odd smell to it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent
Cons: The reception needs to be identified, no signage in the entrance, we walked around for 10 minutes to try and find it, finally the lady in the spa told us!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, helpful staff, parking easy, very comfortable rooms
7.5 Good
Pros: location & views
Cons: small swimming pool with families and prams
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The ocean views, very large and comfortable room. Parking on site, easy access to the beach and walking distance to many restaurants. Nice selection during breakfast with beautiful area for sitting outside and looking at the ocean while dining.
Cons: The overall design makes moving between floors very time consuming. One must take two separate elevators to access rooms, and these are far apart, meaning off one, down another hall, up another one...this ended up being very time consuming. The "spa" was a nice space but the treatments were not professionally done by qualified individual . I would not recommend the treatments as they are expensive for the very low level of quality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Terrific property right on the beach, would stay here again. Wonderful and courteous staff. Rooms are spacious and have nice toiletries. Parking was super convenient as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What an astonishing place. The staff was warm, helpful and patient. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and decorated beautifully. The location was perfect! Loved the infinity pool and listening to the Atlantic Ocean from our room.

Cons: No porters.
9.6 Excellent

8.7 Excellent (2,752 reviews)
Overview Reviews
This privileged location is one of SANA Sesimbras main strengths, turning out to be the best destination for anyone seeking the warmth of the Sun and the freshness of the beach, but also a backdrop of stunning nature just 30 minutes from Lisbon.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was wonderfully located
Cons: There was no USB ports in the hotel rooms . The staff were accommodating and charged phones at reception .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome stay. Beautiful location. Excellent facilities. Sauna and view are amazing.
Cons: Check-in time was 2 pm. No room was available for us until that time. Would have been nice if the staff had let us sit by the pool instead of us waiting in lobby, especially after arriving after a very long flight.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location to the beach.
Cons: Such unfriendly staff. They really could do with smiling at check-in. The room carpet could do with a good clean and the breakfast needs to be better. I am well travelled and have stayed in other Sana hotels but this is stretching it when they say 4 star. It's 3.5 at a push.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel in a fab location...with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in in a hotel for a long time!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I very liked Jaqueline, she is an amazing person, working in reception.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From pulling up outside to being told we’d been told we’d been upgraded to a suite all staff couldn’t have been more helpful and our room, with a balcony sea view, was very wonderful.
Cons: The hotel’s car park can leave you with too tight a space and 12 euros for a G&T we thought was very expensive!
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Lighting in corridor
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location within Sesimbra was good, but everything is walking distance there, so...
Cons: The hotel feels dated and not welcoming. Standard rooms are tiny. Mine had a dirty carpet flooring, definitely not the experience they try to market. Making people pay extra 20eur to get seaview when the hotel was not fully booked just seems a bit unreasonable
4.0 Okay
Pros: Hotel was tired, service at reception was OK. No warm welcome or explanation of the hotel facilities. No Maitre D to explain how the bar and restaurant worked. Breakfast did not live up to the hype . Having stayed previously at the Epic Sana in Lisbon we were disappointed.

Pros: The owner was very laid back and helpful. It's very peaceful and the communal patio area is a really attractive, Bohemian centrepiece. The overall decor is quirky and cool.
Cons: It's not in a particularly beautiful town, but it's a decent base for exploring the Parque Natural de Arrábida. Also there wasn't a huge amount of privacy with a curtain separating the bathroom from the bedroom.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Owner very helpful. A little oasis away from the big city.
Cons: Fairly remote but easy to get to restaurants.
6.3 Good
Pros: Comfy bed. Big room. Clean. Acceptable for a stopover. The breakfast was, not included as it says, but a nice one. Kind owner and a friendly dog.
Cons: The neighbourhood isn't very nice. The shower is very small (even for a small person) and the showercurtain is one of those that wrap itself around you. The bathroom had no door so you'll have to be very tolerant. The "free" breakfast is served 500 meters from the house and cost 3 euro pp (the hotel-owner wasn't around so I couldnt ask him what happened to the free breakfast).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: the staff were friendly kind and had to time to explain.
Cons: breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff was friendly and nice, but he didn't speak English well. It's not a big problem, I understood everything, but spent more time that could .
Cons: Very small room, with no separations with a bathroom (no door, only transparent textile). The shower was very small and uncomfortable to make any movements inside.

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. 8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was really quiet and the staff really nice and helpful, specially a gentleman during breakfast so sweet and welcoming. The room cleaning was excepcional.
Cons: The hotel is nice, but it needs some polishing touches. The safe wasn’t working in the room and some of the amenities need renewing. But overall was a very nice stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is super friendly, especially in the restaurant and breakfast area. But all around from reception to cleaning staff they try to address every question or request. Breakfast better than expected with many options.
Cons: More amenities (e.g. conditioner for hair) in room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel stands in what one may justly consider complete isolation - there is no building next to or near it. It´s nestled in a tranquil, quiet, peaceful, high altitude location which allows for an absolutely amazing 360º degree view of everything below - including the Sesimbra beach bay. However, it´s not situated in a remote area. Not at all. The amazingly beautiful city of Sesimbra is only 6 km away. In Sesimbra, there are so many restaurants to choose from, that deciding in which one to dine can be complicated. The restaurants in Sesimbra are a fish and seafood lover´s dream come true. There is NO place in Portugal that offers a larger variety of seafood and array of restaurants than Sesimbra. The hotel is also only 5-6 km away from some amazing beaches - like praia do Meco and praia das Bicas. So, it´s like you´re in a countryside hilltop, except you´re just a stone throw away from urban areas and beaches. The staff is simply amazing. One would be hard-pressed to find staff as friendly as the one at Zimbros Hotel. The rooms, towels, linen, floor, basins, toilets, etc are squeaky clean - everything smells terrific. I took an unneeded shower just to smell the towel as I dired myself up. The bed in my room was so huge that I would recommend people get directions before diving into it because one can easily get lost. The mattress and pillows are amazing (2 pillows provided per person). The air conditioning, TV and Wi-fi were extremely effective and reliable. There are many channels to choose from. The hotel boasts an indoor sauna and a jacuzzi, as well as an stationary and elliptical bike and even a treadmill. A pool table and a football table are also available. All this absolutely free of charge. From what I learned, if you want to use the jacuzzi or sauna, you should inform the staff beforehand. Breakfast is from 7 to 10;30 am (11 am on weekends). The offering is super complete - maybe too much to choose from. expresso café is available upon request.
Cons: Very difficult to find something negative to say regarding my stay or the hotel. I think that it would be a good idea if they had a few hangers in the washroom where clothes could be hanged.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great sheets, beds and towels are really good. The location is awesome and the staff was friendly
Cons: The breakfast could have local products, fruits had no flavor, juices where packaged. The aromatic marketing on the rooms makes people feel sick, the smells is horrible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the minute you arrive the hotel staff are very attentive especially Maria who works in the Bar so helpful telling us what was available in the hotel she is a credit to the hotel , It’s the best I have slept for years such a comfortable bed and no noise anywhere and they were full
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very Nice bedroom, very clean, great staff
Cons: Pool was quite windy and Wi-Fi was not great in the bedroom
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, good value for the region Large comfortable rooms. Enough parking space Good breakfast with great view Quit rooms (just some noise from the hallway) even when close to the street Friendly staff
Cons: Not being able to check-in until 17:00 Steps to the reception/entrance (having to drag the suitcase up there) Somewhat tired/outdated looking room Pool not available No complementary water in the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great if you prefer to be out of the busyness of being in Central Sesimbra. Zimbros is out in the countryside, so very quiet, and about 10 minutes drive down the road are some beautiful historic buildings, a lighthouse, and dramatic cliffs. Great place for a sundowner. The accommodation itself had a fantastic breakfast, and the staff were helpful.
7.1 Good
Pros: Clean. Comfortable. View from breakfast balcony.
Cons: Location far away from center. Bit standard accommodation for the price.
5.8 Okay
Cons: They could not manage to fix the mainlight in the bathroom for 3 days and showed no interest to fixing it.

7.1 Good
Pros: Well situated near The Cape with great walks around. Very clean, plentiful breakfast.
Cons: Bed was small and a bit hard!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good local taverna within walking distance.
Cons: Very cramped room which opened directly on to the communal kitchen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is our second stay at this accommodation to suit our needs. The staff are always pleasant, friendly and helpful. The kitchen has all you need to self cater on a simple basis. The accommodation is kept very clean and good value for money. The free breakfast is basic but filling and sets you up for the day. The outside terrace has lovely sunset views and it's a nice place to meet and chat with fellow travellers.
Cons: There are currently building works adjacent to the property but unless you are planning to stay around the apartment all day they cause little inconvenience, just not particularly pleasing on the eye.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The best on this appartment was the terrace, it was nice to sit outside and have a glass of wine. The breakfast which was included was good. You could choose some snacks of the menue in a small coffyshop below the appartment.
Cons: The first impression of the host was not exceedingly friendly.. The room was not really good cleaned, there were hair in the bed and on the window were suspected black stains.. if you search for a cheap appartment it is sufficient. And if the rooms would be clean up better it could be a cozy stay for a few days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice small hotel located closely to noteworthy sights, very good breakfast, friendly personal, no problems at all.
6.7 Good
Pros: The breakfast was nice.
Cons: The girl in the beginning was rude. The location is very far you will need a car
7.5 Good
Pros: Wety nice personel, picefull location, clean place.
Cons: Bad wifi, a bit remote location.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Awesome breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: Rooms are small but clean and with AC. Price is very low, so I would recommend this place for people travelling on budget.
Cons: We had room next to the tarrace and it was very loud when someone was using that outdoor space. Breakfast was very basic, in cafeteria. You can choose from menu - mainly sandwiches.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff let me check in early which was good - I was cycling and was wet and cold. There was a nice heater in the room so I was toasty warm in no time. Just down the road is a little restaurant run by an older couple - they were sweet and kind and the food was great, prices really low.
Cons: Shower stall a bit small, but not a bad thing. I had to leave my bike outside in the rain which I prefer not to do. Most places have an indoor location for my bike.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The food, the staff and was a few metres away from the beach.
Cons: There was no games room as stated and the indoor pool area didn't look too appealing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Views from all windows. Breakfasts. Bar .Staff
Cons: Lack directions in lifts regarding floors 7,8,9 and East and West wings. The long walks across Reception and along corridors from bedroom to Dining-room. Steps around gardens.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Just the location.
Cons: The hotel is along several floors - 10 floors plus 40 steps to the main road and beach. Very hard to go along the different floors. To go to the beach should go down about 40 steps, after taking first 2 lifters. Comig back we should climb the 40 steps and after the 2 lifters to arrive to the room level. Room and bathroom very small. Bath room equipment old not operating well. Room decoration and comfort poor.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, very good location, very nice property, great majority of the staff were really nice and always available.
Cons: The only thing we did not like were the matresses that could be much better.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The village the hotel is situated in is beautiful. The outdoor pool was nice. Lovely views.
Cons: The layout is awful. The decor is about 50 years out of date. The staff seemed disinterested. The food in the restaurant was so overpriced we quickly decided not to eat there at all. The bed was rock hard. The shower fitting was faulty.
7.1 Good
Pros: Fantastic location to the beech and town, great pool
Cons: Room was very basic, hotel quite dated. No fresh fruit at breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location of the hotel, all along the beach. All rooms and salons, bars and verandas are turned towards the beach. The orientation is such that you enjoy the sun from morning to evening. All public places and rooms are extremely spacious, comfortable, and quiet! The hotel has a spa, inside and outside pools. The rooms have large verandas overlooking the beach, cable TV, A/C, a fridge, a lot of storage space, amenities in the bathroom. I would however suggest to install a glass on top of of the bathtub to protect the shower and replace the plastic curtain. I would also suggest to equip the rooms with courtesy coffee and tea. The breakfast was very generous and tasty and the staff very professional and efficient.
Cons: The scramble and fried eggs in the morning were presented in a bain-marie and were always cold...
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location, great view to the beach and very close to the beach. The swimming pool is also very friendly.
Cons: The facilities are outdated. You can see it’s an old hotel with some renovations. But the location will make you forget about that.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Wonderful classic furniture and brilliant paintings, ceramics and prints.
Cons: Breakfast too busy with people jostling for seating and food.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The bed was good. And I liked the little balkony was nice to sit outside in the evening even if "ocean view" is a bit exaggerated. But Yes you'll see a bit of a piece of the ocean behind some buildings.
Cons: A stove in the kitchen would've been great.
7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent location walking to beach & bus across the street
Cons: There was no one there to greet or help. Person didn’t speak English. Place very cold. Also I didn’t realize it was 4 stories to walk up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, clean, bright and airy room. Nice to have kitchenette with tea/coffee. It was also great being so close to the bus terminal and not far to get into centre/beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners nice and super helpful. Great location! Caddy corner from the bus stop. Couple of blocks from the beach and great eating places. Also, across the street was a great store for wine, bread, cheese, and whatever else you might need.
Cons: Well, my legs did not like the stairs. However, they were not complaining as much by the end of my stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was really good, just across the road from the bus station and supermarket, 5 min walk to the beach and restaurants. Comfy bed and big bathroom (even though it’s shared with 2 other rooms
Cons: This is like an air Bnb you don’t see the staff unless you are there at 9pm when she collects your money. You just get given codes for the doors. Note: room 2’s fan makes a super annoying beep when on rotate, make sure it’s on still or it will drive you mad looking for the beep like it did to us haha There wasn’t much of a kitchen
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location. No problem with access and everything was as expected.
Cons: Quite a few stairs! There was a notice about noise which was a bit weird.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Check-in was automatical with a code so I didnt see nobody but I was in contact with them via whats up all the time and they were very kind. Room is clean, confortable, quiet and very close to the beach. I was alone but I felt very safe. They allow me to leave my bag in the apartment until I had my bus so very happy with this experience.

Pros: Great location. Close to everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The building has a lift and a garage which is very useful especially in the center of Sesimbra. We also loved the terrace at the top of the building. The view is amazing.
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like really. Maybe if it could have a dishwasher, would be even better. We really enjoyed our stay anyway.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Tight parking spaces within garage. Need to maneuver car a couple of times to get out of parking garage.

Pros: Every thing was OK.
Cons: Internet is very weak
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We are becoming a regular visitor of Cerca da Vitoria, apartments are ice, convenient, well equipped, and centrally located in the small town of Sesimbra. The apartments have two rooms and it is no problem to invite relatives or friends to stay a few nighths, or the entire period, the 2 room apartment fits 4, and we booked for two but as we have some family in Portugal we have sometimes visitors staying with us.
Cons: In the kitchen we miss a real oven, in the past there were ovens in the apartments and now our apartment had a microwave: for who really cooks during holidays a limitation. There was also not a anymore a coffee machine, but when I asked at the reception we were given one.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, clean, facilities, personnel. Everything excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very easy. Someone their to great us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice welcome Tiny bed for two (1m40 for two ) is way too small- perfect for one adult Big room but a bit on the dark side.. not enough light coming in in our apartment. Please add some wine glasses in the room :-)You have fantastic wine in Sesimbra , We don't want to drink in water glasses but when I left reception told me I could have ask for some. Some soap for the dishes would be a nice touch in order to clean what we use Beautiful rooftop with sea view where we took our breakfast every day

Sana Sesimbra Hotel - Sesimbra - Building
4
