Location, Clean facility We Had 3 rooms. one in Good conditions, the second one with a lique at the air conditioner that was droping the water in the carpet, we asked to fix it and they never did. Those 2 rooms were in a new building at the 5fth floor The third Room was at the end of a long corridor in an old building, and had a lot of problems like they did not had light at the shower, the air condinioner was not working and the key did not work correctly. We asked to repair and they did after 2 days.
Huge, classic facility with natural spring pools and bathtubs The facility is a bit out of the way, meaning that you may drive through something that may seem like a Mexican Ghetto. If you can manage to not get lost, you'll be safe, even if you feel like you may not be. Make sure you have GPS or really know how to get here.
The balcony view and location are unbeatable. The bed was extremely comfortable. In addition, the staff were more than accommodating. Nothing!!!
Location was excellent. Staff was okay... Not great Room wasn't ready. Rip in the carpet. No toilet paper in room when I arrived. Too noisy at night. Overpriced. Should be priced at $40 per night
Located in the hearth of Guanajuato, besides Juarez Theater. Walking distance from everything. Clean rooms. They have an Italian Restaurant in the second floor which is good. At night is noisy area, ask for a room as deep in the hotel as you can, away from the front street. We didn't have a problem with the noise because we stay up late at the bars, but if you go to bed early can be a problem. Get a pair of ear plugs just in case.
They have free airport shuttle and right across from airport. They also have free breakfast. The beds are really comfortable and staff very friendly. The location I arrived at 10:30pm and was hungry but there was nothing open and hotel kitchen was also closed. The rooms are small and restroom doors are awkward kind of see through.
I stayed at this hotel for 9 nights on a business trip. Having not mastered the Spanish language yet, it helped that the majority of the staff spoke English. The rooms were clean and what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. I found the bed to be a bit to hard for my liking, but this is common for most hotel chains I have stayed at. The hotel did have a breakfast buffet every morning. My biggest complaint was the breakfast was the same every morning. Overcooked bacon, ham lunch meat, scrambled eggs, refried beans, chips and salsa, some fruits and cereals. The milk was warm. After a few mornings the breakfast just got old. There was an Applebees attached to the hotel for other meals. I found the Applebees to be a big disappointment. The first night I had a pasta dish and the pasta was undercooked. I sent it back and the pasta was overcooked and mushy. Having been to Mexico before, eating at different places, and knowing what is available, it was a huge disappointment. The hamburgers and sandwiches were alright. I am one that likes to try different things when I am away from home. So I was looking for a little more local flavor. I did find this in Leon and Guanajuato which were both about a 30 minute ride fro this hotel. The hotel is fine if you are just looking for a place to stay in Silao. If you are also looking for more, I would recommend staying in Leon or Guanajuato. Silao is a small town and there is not a whole lot to do there. There is not much around the hotel. If you do stay here, I would recommend a room on the back side of the hotel. I had a room on the front side and there road noise from the highway could be non-stop at times.
This is a great hotel...not close to airport but the closest you can get....15 min by taxi. Delicious restaurant attached to hotel. Lovely rooms and gracious staff whose reservation agents all spoke English if you must have that. Sit in the restaurant and gaze up at spectacular view of Christo Rey on the mountain. Mexico: que bueno!
The location is excellent if you plan on doing the tours. Its close by all the major things that is to see there. The only thing was the parking, but that is out of there hands since the town was build so tight and small.

Buffet breakfast (food, service, ambiance, etc. was excellent. Room and services were very good. Very picturesque lay-out. Excellent value for money. Would be nice to have a safe for valuables in room but desk safe box was readily available with friendly 24 hr. service.
Nice grounds, good deal for your money. Beds
The hotel was quite easy to find. Big signs on several places showing the direction. Breakfast buffé was good. The overall first impression is good. With a little more work, this hotel could be excellent but it has some important issues that degrades the stay. First room was on the bottom with a terrace door that didn't lock. The lock was a wooden pole. Big question marks in the staffs face when I explained I didn't like that security. Also quite big roaches appeared in the room, prob. because the terrace door was open all evening without us opening it. Good security? Without any bigger discussions but with quite uncomprehending faces we got a new room on the second floor this time with a balcony door that didn't even have a lock ? 3rd room was only with a window wich was possible to lock :) No safety box in the rooms.
Its relatively close to downtown, easy access to lots of places The beds are not that comfortable, and tv's are small.
I like the room, the instalations. We got stealed US$200 in the room.
The service was very effective (we could change room immediately on request, and a broken lamp was fixed in the same time) and the breakfast is simply amazing. Also, we enjoyed the small gifts like the free transport to the center and the free warm drinks. The laundry took one extra day to arrive.
It's at the entrance of town. far enough from the crowd, only a 40 peso cab ride one way into downtown. It has a bar, dining room, bfst is included and is buffet style. The staff is very attentive and accomodating. they speak english.
Staff did all they could do, and we would recommend it to others. Rate excellent. Way too many stairs with no elevators. We would warn people about this very significant limitation.
I like the old style hotel..
Close to airport, comfortable bed, can order basic meals to room, good TV and bathroom, quiet though close to highway. Room is very basic. Most staff don't speak English. Nothing around it at all. Hotel felt empty. Airport shuttle bus doesn't run on weekends, but front desk calls a taxi for us that arrived quickly.
It was difficult getting in and out of the parking lot because of roadwork, but I expect this will be easier in the future. We enjoyed the swimming pool. Breakfast provided a wide assortment of selections. Friendly, helpful staff.
Everything was great. They do have a shuttle to the main part of town. I would highly recommend coming to Guanajuato, it is beautiful, cool and there is so much to see
It is far from the Downtown area, but shuttle is available. Hot Breakfast Buffet is served and very good. i.e. Eggs, bacon, chilaquiles, cereal, bread, juices, coffee, fruit. Hotel is in very good condition, pool is very nice and clean. Definitely will stay again.
Very nice hotel, quiet atmosphere, the free shuttle takes you downtown.
My husband, two teenage daughters and I stayed for only one night but everything was very nice and clean. The hotel was much better than I expected so that was a nice surpise. The breakfast could have had a bit more variety but it was complimentary so no complaints there. My only real issue was that the pool closed at 8pm which we thought was way too early. After an entire day of sightseeing in the warm Guanajuato sun, we would have liked to take a dip in the pool around 9pm. The shuttle service was excellent and it was only a maximum 10 minute drive to the downtown area. Would love to stay again!
The hotel was great. It' son the oustide of the City but its easy to take a bus in as the bus stops right in front of the hotel. Loved the breakfast buffet.
