Of all the hotels I’ve stayed at in the last 10 years, the staff at this hotel was the most friendly and helpful of them all. Every request was met with genuine kindness and enthusiasm! The location of the resort is not within walking distance of anything else, but the shuttle service to and from the ski area is phenomenal.
Location was good. But I'd rather come in summer. Some rooms are too far from front desk. No after hours snack bar like the usual commercial hotels. Small lobby. Free (self) parking is not close. Staff aren't particularly attentive to your needs. Hallways get cold at night. If you need to switch a room during your stay (from 1 king to 2 queen for example), good luck with that, even though they do have empty rooms. Excellent place if you have kids, but not a good place to stay if you're going to relax for a few days; this is truly a resort for younger people or families with kids who want to sky and run around. Don't be surprised to run into swarms of teenagers and college kids. If you're looking for a quiet relaxing place with adult (non-kiddie) amenities, go to Aspen or some place else.
The front desk agent was so kind. He gave me a king bed and a balcony for no extra charge. I was so surprised at how beautiful the room was. I had everything I needed, and more. The balcony view was gorgeous. We ordered room service three separate times and every time the person delivering food was so incredibly kind, accommodating and understanding. The food was always exceptional. The wine was exceptional. The breakfast was so yummy, and it was cool how you could order the night before and they will bring it whenever you want. Took care of everything and I am so happy to have stayed there. Wish it could have been longer ! Didn't even take advantage of the spa amenities but that's always a good option if you're not busy.
The private balcony where I could read my Bible and pray. The only drawback was that I kept wanting to look out at the view. It's not your fault, but we had difficulty breathing at such an altitude. ; )
great property, no need to drive to town, beautiful views new pizza place was not organized, decent food, but lots wrong.
Mattie the mgr was very helpful always smiling and made sure we were happy guests. She is great at her job!!
Loved having bike trail and rentals so close and on site.
The room and location were wonderful. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Disappointed in the cafe.
My boyfriend and I live a few hours away and needed a getaway for a night. I made reservations easily online. From the valet who greeted us, to the front desk, to the lovely spacious room and the amazing location we had a beautiful time. We especially enjoyed the free shuttle service that took us into town and was there when we were ready to be picked up and the hot tub- the grounds and scenery were lovely! We will be back to stay again, hopefully soon!
Location is great. We were up from Boulder skiing for a few days and did not want to pay the high prices to stay at a mountain resort (hotel, food, parking, etc). I stay more than 100 nights a year at Marriott properties so I may be a bit spoiled but this was one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. The beds were rock hard, there is no central heat / air, no power outlets in the room, and the entire place smelled like a mix between a wet dog and old bong water.
Liked the proximity to the ski areas and shopping. Did not like: The overall cleanliness of the hotel. Mold in the bath/shower area. The floor of the shower room had faux hardwood floors which had a pool of water and mold underneath. The sink faucet leaked when the water was being used. Housekeeping did not change the sheets. towels were old and rough like sand paper.
Good staff, nice having restaurant attached, good location. Lukewarm shower, 1 mini sized shampoo for both myself and spouse, shower rod busted so curtain wouldn't close, no air/ac, dirty. Will not stay again.
A little dated.
Hotel was very noisy.
Modern design style Quick & easy check-in/out Helpful breakfast staff Proximate location Large hot tub (jets lacking) Average pool for similar facility Breakfast was average, but allowed for flow of traffic Parking is lacking and inconvenient on busy weekends Bathroom/shower facilities were menial and tiny No power outlets for charging electronics, except next to the sink Beds were hard, pillows were lacking Room 626 echos, floor was very noisy, lots of door slamming Wi-Fi was slow Over priced for the provided ammenities
Location - convenience and access to highway and shopping. Slow flushing of the toilet, not enough electrical outlets in the room, electric outlets not conveniently located next to bed. Exercise room equipment was not well maintained - elliptical machine squeaked
The fact that the pool and hot tub were indoor, somewhat friendly staff and location was okay. There was a thermostat that didn't work, an extra ac unit, a hole in one of the walls, beds that felt like they were made of BRICKS, the fact that the hot tub was grumpy and had what felt like dysfunctional jets, leaks in the ceilings and what looks like mold, unfinished ceilings in the room, huge gap between the door and the molding - we could see through the gap into the hallway and last but not least, a fire sprinkler in the room was wrapped in either a shirt, rag, or sock.
Dog friendly, helpful staff, great restaurant
Access to ski slopes, shops/stores and restaurants everything was nearby. while minor the elevators were noticeably slow
Staying at The Inn allowed us access to the mountain, and away from the bustle of the village. The staff was incredible, always there with a smile and advice. The billiards table could use some work - all the cues were broken, but that was the only negative - overall a five star stay
Pleasant surprise at Check-in to get an evening lift tickets and a voucher for Yoga. Couldn't/didn't use the Yoga voucher, so can't rate. Breakfast was pretty good. Eggs, breakfast meats, fresh fruits. Different every day of 3 we stayed. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon to start skiing, but room wasn't ready so we weren't going to be able to use the Check-in day voucher for night skiing 4-8 pm. Checkin time was 4:00. Checkout time was 11:00. They did accommodate us with a conference room to change into our gear. Room wasn't ready until 5:42pm. Parking is really limited, they want you to use Valet service.
Bbq at camp ground sat afternoon and sunday. Mt bike Keystone sunday morning
great view of the mountains and river out our window! the biking trail was right outside the hotel with restaurants within walking distance. great views from the hot tubs as well. hot tubs closed at 10pm
Very convenient location. The staff was very friendly and they worked hard to please everyone. I would definitely consider staying here again.
The comfortable room was located convenient to Keystone Ski Resort, with walking access or bus access to the slope! We were very Pleased with the room, location, staff and room value. The beds were very comfortable and the 1 br 2 Bath suite was large. The jacuzzi(s) on the roof were small (holding about 4 people each) and were in use whenever we tried to use them. There was a very nice, large jacuzzi on the ground level next to the parking lot, though. It was available and warm, but had no view.
The comp. valet parking was awesome in the snow and ice. Always had plenty of staff so I never had to wait. The 3 outdoor hot tubs were never crowed, and the comp. breakfast was first class with different hot meal choices every morning. The shower, although clean, was standard pre-fab, unlike the rest of the hotel, which was more luxurious
Great Location! Just a 5 minute walk to the slopes. Clean, comfortable, family (and pet) friendly hotel. Front staff were helpful and knowledgable. Parking is free, including valet if there isn't available on grounds. Be prepared for one of the worst breakfast experiences. Not only is the food bad, but they always seem to be out of plates, bowls, utensils, glasses, coffee... nothing is ever stocked at the same time. The staff is limited and always seem to be playing catchup. You'll stand around for 5 minutes waiting for a knife while your toast cools to room temperature and your coffee becomes lukewarm without any creamer, because it was all used for the cereal station that no longer has milk.
Staff very friendly, reasonable price, and clean. Beds were a bit too firm.
Room was very clean. Hotel was neat and appeared to be well kept. "Breakfast" was just sweet rolls, waffles, coffee, some juice, toast, etc. Quite spartan. Overall tough, both my wife and I were pleased with the accommodations. Good deal for the price!
Gentleman that owned the hotel was friendly, there was a hot tub. Power went out early, not his fault but we still had to check out by 10, which made getting ready difficult. Rooms were basic, beds were hard.
Excellent staff. Great value. Breakfast was very basic.
Friendly staff, great pool, hot tub and sauna. Relaxing stay!
Nice Mom and Pop hotel. Great location. The staff was very friendly and there was an indoor pool and hot tub which was a plus. Our room also had a mini fridge and microwave which was awesome to heat up our snacks and keep our ice cream colx. Decor was lacking, very early 90s.
The service was exceptional. The front desk clerk even returned at 4:00am to have breakfast ready for those of us riding the Copper Triangle. Great value for our money
room was affordable. very clean, with friendly staff. towels folded very nice. Air & heater system worked well. Celica beware..they had a simple breakfast of cereal and breads, with apples & banana's. a good coffee & juice. bed of sheet rock & firmest pillows we have ever had. husband had to roll up the bedspread to sleep on. mini fridge kicked on with a loud roar every 2 hours. we finally had to unplug the fridge so we could sleep. Celica beware..the breakfast was meager, with only breads & cereals, had no protein.
Quiet at night. Clean bed and sheets. Breakfast in AM was fine. Ok for family or solo adults. Front desk staff very friendly.
This is a great location at a reasonable price. Staff is nice. I've stayed here a few times and continue to come back. I like it better than the gateway condos. Not the most luxurious accommodations, there are nice places in keystone. Still, good value for the money. Not as nice as Expedition Station.
Location was good and the rooms were clean. The continental breakfast was a litte short on selection. Not bad but could have included a few more warm items.
Tom at the front desk was very helpful. Ensured I received a room on the 1st floor as they had no elevators (I have a bad back). The room was spacious and clean. The lighting was poor in the room and I was trying to read. Tom found an additional lamp and we removed the shade to increase lighting. Also, the beds online were advertised as having 40 inch flat-screen TVs, and beds with temper-pedic tops. The room I was in had neither. I had booked this hotel because of temperpedic tops (I have back problems,) Tom was very helpful and secured one for me and helped remake the bed.
Right across from Keystone Suana only open until 10 and no ventilation in sauna room whatsoever. Dangerous hot!
Price, location, sauna Breakfast options limited
This is a great place to stay in an otherwise expensive resort town. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast bagels were bakery fresh and delicious.
Location, location location! could walk across the street to Keystone ski resort. price for the money - amazing deal. it was clean and seems well maintained even though it was definitely a bit older we had two rooms for four guys. one of the rooms was a normal 2-double bed room, the other had one double and bunk beds. not a huge problem, but definitely not as comfortable.
There wasn't much to like, other than it was a room (albeit an overpriced one) on a busy weekend. The check-in person was very cold; room was not as clean as I would have liked; breakfast was awful. In the morning, there was no one at the desk to even ask if our stay was good (perhaps no surprise there) - just a basket to toss your key in on the way out.
The location is good. The price was cheaper than others in the area. Fairly clean. Breakfast was bare bones. Towels are like sandpaper. Bring your own toiletries.
Clean, comfortable, & quiet. Good location & price. Terrible breakfast including the "coffee". The shower water pressure was rather weak.
CONVENIENT, POOL AND HOT TUB, ADEQUATE BUT NOT EXACTLY LUXURY.. OUTDATED SHOWER HEAD AND TOILET PLEASE ADD MODERN HOTEL LAMPS AND 2 MORE PILLOWS TO THE BED 50.00 FINE FOR HAVING A DRINK IN THE HOT TUB????
Beds and pillows were very comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was cereal and cold/half frozen donuts. I thought it would be a bit more extensive than that, and at least the donuts could have been completely thawed. I chose this hotel over a competitor because it said the breakfast was included, but we ended up going somewhere else to eat. The front desk took a while to check in and they had their kid sitting on the floor in the office. No internet during certain times of night due to illegal piracy of movies? Really?
Good location. Room was ok but not what I'd call luxurious, although it was clean. It was quiet even tho right next to the highway. The front desk lady was not very nice or informative. Continental breakfast was awful. Old donuts and fruit. The room was freezing when we got in. Had to crank the heater for a while before it warmed up.
Nothing Dirty rooms, stale breakfast, indifferent staff, dated hotel, etched. They have a lot of nerve including the word "luxury"in the name of their hotel
Clean, room was decent looking and done up ok. Bed a little lumpy, smell supper cooking in employees residence, air conditioning a bit under sized and the breakfast buffet was the worst I have seen. That said cleanliness and a fairly new remodel are important.
When you see Luxury in the title you expect a certain type of luxury. We rounded the corner to get our first glimpse of the place and our hearts dropped. It looked more like a run down motel than a luxury hotel. The first impression was a bad one. The landscaping was overrun by weeds, there were windows that were damaged and the sign looked like it was from the 1970s. The lobby was out of date and when trying to check in after ringing the bell, a young kid comes down the stairs wearing shorts and a t shirt... Not professional at all. We found no elevator yet our room was in the second floor. The stairs were norrow and steep. The room was clean but extremely outdated. Overall a very creepy experience... So much so that we cancelled our second night and decided to go somewhere else. We didn't even spend the night there. it was a $110 mistake that I learned from... Don't always trust reviews or the name of the hotel.
Our hotel room was clean. Beds very comfortable and the location was in the heart of everything. The free breakfast in the morning was adequate and appreciated. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The counter space around the bathroom sink was inadequate especially for two female friends sharing a room......even for a couple sharing. The 10am required checkout time is to early. Hotels continue to shorten your stay when years ago it was a 24 hour stay you paid for. I know I am dating myself.....but 10am is just to early to require guests to leave. We did request a late checkout and we were given an extra hour....thank you very much.
They turn the internet off at midnight. I have never heard of something so ridiculous. Not sure where the luxury in the name comes from. ESPN and ESPN2 both did not work on the TV, and the internet was too slow to stream any live sports.
If you want a motel that you can hear everything that everyone does, this is the place for you!
the location horrible night sleep (from noise and uncomfortable bed) was not worth the view. I would have rather slept and driven to lake.
Friendly staff, rooms were nice and well furnished. We were there mid-June and the flowers were lovely! Enjoyed our stay. I would request a room with a view of beautiful Lake Dillon. It was unseasonably warm when we were there. There was no AC . The windows were easy to open and there was a ceiling fan which helped a lot.
Location on the lake is amazing Walls are super thin Rooms get way too hot and the only way to cool them down is open the porch door
Location. Right on Dillon Lake...in middle of town...restaurants within walking distance. Plenty of parking. Room was a bit warm...tried to adjust A/C since it was a hot day. Ended up opening up balcony door and used ceiling fan, so it was OK.
Proximity to the lake and cafe is convenient Walls are paper thin
It was a great location! Only 15 min from Keystone and 30 min from Breck. We enjoyed the Cuty Market grocery store and fun restaurants.
View / many shops and restaurants in walking distance No AC
There were a couple of restaurants that were in walking distance, which was nice. The lake was close and it looked like there were some walks around the area but we didn't explore since we were already tired from our hike that day. The view of the lake is beautiful, although we weren't lucky enough to have one. We were fortunate apparently to have an AC unit in our room though, after looking at other reviews. The room was quite well equipped with fridge and coffee maker and I believe there may have been a microwave. The breakfast was much better than expected! We got a basement unit, which it sounds like may have been a good thing after all since we had AC!
Very good breakfast, friendly staff, beautiful views of the lake, close to everything, easy to get around, plentiful parking, close by restaurants and bars, great value
Surly, unhelpful front desk No gym Cramped breakfast seating Poorly ventilated room Barely functioning refrigerator
Location, location. Excellent from the time you check in until you check out. No A/C. This is quite normal for a mountain location. Opened the door and turned the fan on.
Loved the room, the fire place, the luxury details. Unlike chain hotels, multiple plugs, good lighting, luxury coffee and toiletries. Love that they don't use keys but your personal code for all doors. Very accommodating to my requests and super friendly staff.
We had a great stay for one night. Very warm and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful and backed onto a creek. Went above and beyond to accommodate us for a great night in Georgetown. Nothing
Spacious, clean, comfortable. Highly recommended!
The place was great. We had two families with 4 young children and the place was just perfect for that. Renovated kitchen, big spaces. We couldn't extend the stay one more night for the same rate. They preferred not to have it rented.
When I arrived I pulled back the sheet to find that the sheets had not been changed from the previous guest. Many hairs were all over it when I called the front desk to get new sheets you would have thought I was asking for something extra. No apologies just rudeness. Next I had to phone because the shower was broken. Again they started off being exasperated with me because I was asking (very nicely btw) for a new room. I know it is a cheap hotel but this kind of treatment was truly shocking. Over all the hotel was very shabby and dirty. Maybe if I was paying $25 a night I could have understood. I would suggest any other hotel in the area
The loft rooms are decent. There are only like 5 channels on the tv. Their breakfast and coffee are terrible. The hotel overall is pretty dingy. The worst part though, is that the maid stole from us. We're in a band and stay in Silverthorne all the time as we're on our way to and from shows in the mountains. Our fiddle player accidentally left 2 dresses in the closet of the room, but realized it soon after we left and called to let them know. They basically said that if they had the dresses, they would call her. They didn't. My fiddle player called several times a day only to get brushed aside and put through to a voicemail box that never got checked. She even called corporate and was told they would start a case and look into it. She was told to wait 3 days and call back so she did. They said that no case had been started. Then, about a week later we were going to be staying in Silverthorne again so we stopped by the La Quinta to ask them in person about the dresses and we were told that the old manager had just up and walked out of her job and that we should file a police report. We called the local police and they said they would call us back. In the mean time, the new manager (who actually helped us) had a chat with the maids from the day we checked out and then the dresses magically and anonymously reappeared. So in the end she got her dresses back, but the amount of incompetence and headache that was involved was unbelievable. I wouldn't have recommended staying here anyhow, but with this mess we will never stay at a La Quinta again.
There was plenty of parking and conveinient location. We walked to the resturant for dinner. The fireplace in our room was electric, I had assumed it would be wood burning, took the romance out of it. It also made a lot of noise. The DVD player was not hooked up at all!
