Pros. Location
Cons. The room was very small and the air conditioning wasn't working. Staff were busy and unreliable
Pros. This was our second stay at the Antemare. All rooms were renovated during the last winter and are now comfortable, clean and quiet. They are decently sized and come with large terraces or balconies The staff is nice and helpful as always. Be aware that there is a 10 mins walk along the beach to the town center and the nightlife; not a bad thing considering how busy and noisy it can be during the summer months. In short, use your legs and sleep well. We will come back a third time.
Pros. This place is newly renovated and it was almost like driving a brand new car: clean and responsive. Our favorite part of our stay was how friendly the staff was. Everyone was welcoming and helpful yet gave us space to enjoy our vacation. Sometimes that is a hard balance to find. The pool area was beautiful and clean. The fact that this hotel is a little on the smaller side meant that there were plenty of chairs for everyone. The room was large and we had a great view of the pool and the city. The hotel is also very close to the beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Cons. The only thing I can criticize is that it is a bit of a long walk from the train station and the city center. Our walk to dinner was long, but that was totally fine though because we could easily walk up the boardwalk. Definitely take a cab from the train station if you have large bags.
