9.5 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in one of the cabins and just loved the peaceful surroundings and the screened porch...I will definitely be back and told several friends about my experience.
Cons: Nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: Comfortable spacious one bedroom cabin. Proximity to nice trails. Allowed dog in cabin for a fee.
Cons: 35 stairs to entrance of cabin , not mentioned in description. Some damage to cabin, not kept up to date. One drawer in kitchen , nowhere to put long utensils. Dishwasher not emptied by staff upon arrival so people have scattered dishes helter skelter in cabinets.
6.8 Good
Pros: Food, location, staff, balcony
Cons: Small room, small bed, uncomfortable mattress
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the 1 room cottage with 2 queen beds and one bathroom, kitchen with a table for 4, and a couch plus cozy chair in living room with a television. We also had a screen room with table for four. This cottage is what I’d expect to find in the woods. It was simple, yet had what we neeeded for a great night sleep. Coffee fresh each morning. And the mattress was fantastic. The bathroom needed fixing up on the counter. Though the shower gave us hot water twice daily. It was good. The staff brought our needs within the 1/2 hour after requesting for more towels, and coffee etc. Friendly staff. Anita was cheerful and professional. Thank you Anita. The steps to the cottage need more non slip traction strips. After the rain I slipped pritty bad and have a bruise. The location is perfect. We had a blast walking out of our cottage and off to hike, eat or swim. The price we paid was worth the convenience of the hiking, cooking and grilling our foods at cottage or walking to the Lodge for service. The pool was clean. And highly enjoyed after a sweaty day of hiking and rock climbing. I can’t comain but only suggest that is cottage 210 fix the bathroom counter and put new no-slip traction strips on the wooden steps. Thank you for a wonderful memory. We will be back.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Finding shelter from the infestation of mosquitoes.
Cons: We stayed in the 5star cabin rental 'Rocky Top' TOTALLY wasnt worth the $200.00 a night. There was no yard to explore. The fire pit was set on the side of a cliff. It was directly underneath a light post, so there was no enjoying the glow of a campfire. Very disappointing. There were no extra blankets. No dish detergent for the 'fully equipped kitchen'. There were 4 of us booked for this cabin and only 4 towels and 2 washcloths provided. This cabin was by far the worst we have ever stayed in.

Pros: Th area was beautiful. Red river gorge is very nice.
Cons: Said they were pet friendly but the dog was only allowed in the parking lot on the pavement and room.Charges for a pet is 30 dollars on top of room cost. All food available was in their restaurant prices were high. For what what thay were offering for meals 12 dollars for chicken strips. And we stayed in the off season.
