Pros: Beautiful ornate rooms and common areas, without feeling old fashioned. Clean and well kept.
Service all around was top notch. Catered to our needs, friendly and communicative without being intrusive. Perfect!
Location is fantastic, just minutes from downtown, parliament, the water, Cook St. Village and Dallas Road walkway.
Pros: Great breakfast, helpful staff
Cons: Sink in room not in bathroom) had no space for anything.
Abigail's is an adult-only, intimate 23-room property that is housed in a 1930's Tudor mansion. Its special atmosphere blends the romance and charm of the past with the comfort and convenience of modern accommodation. Abigails is quietly situated on the edge of the bustling downtown core and is three short blocks from Victorias Inner Harbour, within walking distance of all the major downtown attractions and restaurants. Life is too short to be conventional, discover a splendour and charm that has been lost to the ages and uniquely exists at Abigails.
Pros: Rooms are nice, modern. Beds/bedding comfy. Big bathroom, tub. Front desk really helpful. I didn't hear noise from other guests, but it was mid-week, so that might be a factor. Turn down service.
Cons: Continental breakfast wasn't included.

Pros: A comfortable suite is much better value for the money than a single room. Very clean and well decorated with neutral colours, granite counter... way better than a stark white wall. Bed was comfortable. Location is great, centrally located but not a crazy busy/noisy street. Great walking around James Bay and Fisherman's Wharf.
I really, REALLY like that they take dogs too. The suite was super clean, no sign of dogs from other people which I liked (even though I have a dog)!
Cons: I didn't like how in the morning I tried calling and calling but no one answered as I had to catch a 7am and was told the night before someone would be there all night but when I called at least 9 times no one picked up until 5:50 am and all I wanted to do was check out and leave
The Oswego Hotel is within 2 blocks of the Inner Harbour, Parliament Buildings, and the Royal BC Museum. Chinatown, the Maritime Museum, and the Victoria Royal Theatre are less than 2 km away.

A snack bar/deli and a terrace are offered, and rooms at this romantic bed & breakfast get the details right with down comforters and bathrobes.
Pros: Excellent hosts, beautiful rooms, super-yummy food, wonderful location within walking distance of much that Victoria has to offer!
Cons: No showers, just beautiful baths, if that matters to you. My allergies to dust/pets reacted slightly (though not too bad).
When you stay at Humboldt House B&B, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of British Columbia Parliament Building and University of Victoria. Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and scuba diving, and free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. Rooms offer up nice touches like fireplaces, jetted tubs, and bathrobes.
Pros: Rooms were very nice and the location was quite convenient to everything. I was in a queen suite with two nice tvs, refrigerator and microwave, and very comfortable beds. The walkout balcony was a bonus.
Cons: Valet parking could be difficult as there was only space for a few cars at a time. The bar at the bottom level was very popular, so much so that I wasn't allowed to enter as they were at capacity. I took my business elsewhere.
The balcony door didn't seal super well, so there was a bit of a draft in that area.
Pros: We had a king suite. Nice to have a living room and bedroom separate with 2 nice TVs. Bed was comfy. Room was updated and clean.
Cons: The couch in the living area was small and a bit uncomfortable.

Pros: We loved our stay at Hotel Rialto. The location is fantastic, it's in downtown Victoria and we were able to walk to pretty much everything except Butchart Gardens. Our room was clean and beautiful, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the food in the breakfast room was good. Parking was very close by in a reasonably priced garage (hourly, up to $12/day as of August 2015). I loved Victoria and plan to go back, and when I do I will stay at the Rialto!
Pros: Staff was great
Cons: Shower drained very slow causing over an inch of water to pool in the bottom every time you used it. Bed was not comfy at all. Room was a lot smaller than i expected.
Pros: Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. The restaurants downstairs were fantastic! The bathrooms had radiant heated floors, which was a nice touch.
Located in Downtown Victoria, this eco-friendly hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Mcpherson Theater and British Columbia Parliament Building. Fan Tan Alley and Chinatown are also within 5 minutes.
Pros: Our room should have included a washer and dryer but it was out for service. The hotel did our laundry for free with a quick turn around. This hotel is in a fantastic location, we highly recommend it.
Pros: It was so nice
Cons: Could've been more hot tub jets
Pros: The room, facility and service were all exceptional. Very impressed!
Pros: They did our laundry free of charge when our dryer wouldn't work. Very nice and folded it to ;)
Pros: I loved this hotel- it felt so luxurious with out the price tag. We had deluxe suite and we will definitely return.. It was close to the harbour and we could walk everywhere. The soaker tub was very relaxing, nice little touches like washer dryer and ipad doc made it even better We enjoyed it all very immensely
Cons: fireplace didn't work in either room and the hot tub jets were not very strong
Pros: Luxurious rooms, lots of space, great service and staff
Cons: Did not provide enough toiletries, no air conditioning, could not close top windows
Pros: Very comfortable and spacious suites.
Pros: Great rooms with everything you need
Cons: We stood in line for 15 minutes (I counted) while ONE staff member dealt with ONE check-in ahead of us. (And there were people behind us...). Sure, she apologized when it was my turn, but who cares? Why didn't she call another staff member to check in others and speed things up? Why wasn't I offered an upgrade, or free drink at the restaurant, or one day free parking, or something as compensation? And we were staying 3 nights. Nope. A perfunctory apology was all I got. And don't tell me that a manager somewhere wasn't monitoring the various security cameras which observe that check in desk, so they knew - but apparently didn't care. Shameful. Very, very disappointing for a supposed luxury hotel.
This family-friendly Victoria aparthotel is located in the business district, within a 10-minute walk of St. Ann's Academy and British Columbia Parliament Building. Royal BC Museum and Miniature World are also within 5 minutes.
Pros: Extremely attractive hotel with perfect location by the waterfront. Easy walking distance all over town.
We enjoyed our room overlooking the harbor.
Gracious, helpful staff.
We were happy with the Courtyard Cafe, which provided good sandwiches, coffee, and dessert for low-key suppers.
Island Time Tours, booking right there in the Grand Pacific, took us to Butchart Gardens and picked us up again at our requested time. What a very nice arrangement.
When it was time to leave Victoria, we chose the Victoria Airport YYJ Shuttle as more economical than a taxi. The Shuttle arrived at the front door and delivered us to the airport comfortably and in good time.
We were happy in every way with our four nights at the Grand Pacific and would gladly stay there again.
Pros: super close to everything tourists do
Pros: Staff was great and very helpful suggesting restaurants and activities. We were able to arrange A late checkout and keep our car parked. The location was excellent and there are a lot of nearby restaurants. We had a great time.
Cons: Facilities are undergoing a major remodel. A bit noisy in the morning since they start early
Pros: Staff were excellent location was excellent
Cons: Curtains were torn
Pros: Location is great!
Cons: The hotel is old, outdated and in desperate need of a facelift. You are definitely paying for location.
Pros: The rooms where nice, clean, bright... Bed was very comfortable ... Staff where helpful.
Cons: The restrant food left you dissatisfied , tast was okay but not up too it's reputation ...
Pros: Great location
Cons: Internet was slow and difficult to use from mobile device
Cons: Bad wireless Internet - the only negative

Pros: Real friendly staff, clean rooms, breakfast menu was excellent,
View from breakfast restaurnant was terrific, parking was excellent.
We will go back again and again to this place!
Cons: Very few carts to haul uggage to room. That being said, the front clerk called and had a cart delivered to our room very quickly.
Pros: Great room, excellent staff, shuttle service was fantastic. We had a beautiful view.
Cons: Walls were a bit thin, we could hear people in the hallway talking. They sounded like they were in our room.
Pros: This hotel is remarkable. I am at the Four Seasons in Vancouver right now but the Delta beats it hands-down. The contemporary look is completely attractive and I've never had a hotel room so organized with a place for everything. Great food in the restaurant. The location is perfect on the water, and just a few minutes walk into the heart of Victoria. Also they have a free shuttle that get you to places you want to go.
Pros: Informal but very attentive staff, ease of check-in and the quick drop-box checkout. The location is great, downtown but not right in the town. The Westbay walkway along the harbour is great for a walk, jog, taking in the scenery. Our room was quiet, very clean and comfortable. The workout area is well set up, and the sauna was perfect for a mid-winter warm-up.
Cons: we were surprised there was no fridge in the room, that would have been helpful.
Pros: The view! Cleanliness and location near downtown.
Cons: Many rooms have no view.
Pros: Our room was spacious, clean and had an excellent view of the harbor. The water taxi stand was right outside the hotel making trips around Victoria very easy and fun. A lovely walkway around the harbor was right outside the hotel as well.
Cons: The WIFI in our room was unusable in spite of high signal strength. After two days of making calls to Delta's tech support with no success, we finally gave up and used the internet in the lobby. We were unimpressed with the support offered by the staff.
Pros: A very relaxed , very friendly and very accompanying resort
Cons: All was great
Pros: ease of parking, fast elevator, quiet
Cons: A bit out of the way for getting to the rest of Victoria. One traveller unable to walk well.

Pros: Location was in perfect walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Hotel had great character. The breakfast was delicious and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The staff didn't provide much direction on hotel amenities.
Pros: Overall a nice old hotel, but I would not say that it is a luxury stay. Breakfast was very good and included with the cost of the room, so that was actually a treat
Restaurant has a dress code, so keep that in mind before you pack.

Good value for the superb local
Pros: Enjoyed being on the 4th floor with high ceilings and skylight
Cons: Scrambled eggs were kind of bland
Maybe some variety of sauces to spice them up a bit
Pros: Everything was great!
Cons: One of the breakfast staff was rude. He took breakfast a little too seriously.
Pros: the best breakfast and dining place I've ever been too. Very clean and best supervised. Food is always replenished. Never ran out. Definitely will comeback. Best location. Staff very friendly. Room is clean and comfortable.
Pros: Being able to park the car and have a base to explore Victoria on foot. The savings allowed us to have a spa day and afternoon tea at the Empress Hotel. The breakfast buffet had good variety and well attended.
Cons: The pool area should have some lounge chairs and a bit more privacy.
Pros: We really liked the location of the hotel. Close to everything we wanted to go to or see. Free breakfast and ample free parking too was a plus.
Cons: The closet was only about a foot from the side of the bed. It made it hard to get in to. But all the plusses of the hotel made it insignificant.
Placing you 0.1 mi (0.1 km) from British Columbia Parliament Building and 5.5 mi (8.8 km) from University of Victoria, Embassy Inn offers an airport shuttle (available on request) for CAD 24.00 per person. Guests can get a morning swim in at the seasonal outdoor pool, and the sauna makes for a relaxing end to the day. Rooms at this Victorian hotel offer balconies, LCD TVs, and refrigerators.
Pros: Just a short walk from Parliament, harbor, and all the fun of Victoria. Found several nice markets nearby as well. Clean apartment-type room. Very clean with a great little kitchenette! Quaint, cute, charming, nice parking.
Pros: Clean, quiet and convenient. Great hotel for the price
Make yourself at home at the Royal Scot Hotel & Suites! Weve got room for you to relax. Our spacious Studio and One Bedroom Suites offer full kitchens, and a separate living area with flat screen TV and DVD player.
Pros: Only downside was broken curtains so hard to keep apt dark
Pros: Beautifully designed room, well-equipped facilities, and friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Would like towel hooks in bathroom
Pros: Awesome restaurant Aura in the hotel.
Pros: Room overlooked inner harbor. Very clean with very helpful staff. Restaraunt menu did not have enough basic food choices, no chicken for my wife but I did enjoy my sable fish..The room was missing a selection of glassware as only had 2 glasses for all purposes, also did not have a makeup mirror which my wife prefers. All in shall s nice spit to stay . We will return.
Pros: The restaurant was wonderful. The food was so innovative and delicious. The staff was very friendly and offered every opportunity to help. I would definitely stay at this place the next time I'm in Victoria. I really appreciated the fact that it was actually further away from all of the other hotels because it was quiet and peaceful.
Pros: The location was amazing and the staff at the front desk and front door were extremely helpful and friendly. We were here for the Goodlife Fitness marathon.
Pros: the location is great. room are quiet for resting.
Cons: I booked a ocean view room and end up a roof top view with very angle ocean view. The bell man help us get to the room, he also said it doesn't look like a ocean view room at all. Beside, the room very dated and furniture, carpet are all smell. So, I decide to upgrade to a newer building and paid extra $50 just for one night. Very disappointed the front desk lady keep emphasized that is a ocean view room!!
Pros: Big, comfortable, well equipped room, value for money, pool hours (open late)
Cons: No hot tub, bathroom a bit dated
Pros: Clean room, not far walking distance from downtown
Cons: Heater did not work all too well, room couldn't get warm enough.

Cons: Reserved a room with a king bed. We were traveling from Seattle via the clipper that couldn't sail due to the marine forecast. Once we realized our trip was going to take 7 hours via buss to reach the hotel, I called to notify that we would be arriving late and was assured my room would be ready and that we would have a king bed, not 2 doubles.
We arrived at the hotel and no king beds were available. But then the representative said I could upgrade for $40 more per night and beaten down by the 7 hour trip I agreed to pay the fee.
Then we get the bill and it was $60 + $4.85 PST + $1.21 MRDT + $3.03 GST. I understand that the taxes are what the are but should have been quoted them and the hotel should have honored the quote made on arrival.
I was offered $10 per night discount by the manager but still feel mislead. As a Marriott rewards customer for years and one who has stayed at Marriott properties all over the world, I will not be returning to this property.
The maid service was also poor. The room was not vacuumed nor were the sheets ever changed on our 3 night stay. Additionally when we arrived there was left over spoiled food in the fridge.
Lastly they did not replace plates and silverware in the kitchenette and when we came back to the room with takeout, we had to eat out of plastic containers.
I do not recommend this property. If you are accustom to Marriott service and hospitality, you will not find it here.
Pros: Clean facility, close to ferry terminal and local tourist attractions, staff was super friendly and helpful, especially the doormen, there were plenty of towels and comfortable beds. Exercise room small but with enough variety of equipment.
Cons: Wish the swimming pool had been larger, not quite big enough for lap swims, wish they had provided a changing room in the pool restroom. Wish they had provided a small fridge in the room.

Pros: I liked that the hotel was close to the water and Fisherman's Wharf.
It was clean and the staff was friendly.
Cons: It was far from the main downtown core. They do provide a free downtown shuttle on a first come basis until 2300.
I believe this hotel would do much better if they had a FREE airport shuttle AND a free continental breakfast. I know I will look for both in a hotel if I return to the area.
Pros: Great location overlooking the entrance to Victoria inner harbor. Very nice and helpful staff. Nicely designed rooms.
Cons: Worst: nearly all the pillows smelled of old sweat. We finally requested and received new, unused pillows. Avoiding dry cleaning pillows is not a good cost-cutting measure! Also, waited one hour for breakfast, after two complaints, received it with the explanation that here were "problems in the kitchen." To their credit, the restaurant wait staff seemed embarrassed and comped the breakfast. Another morning we decided to skip the menu and do the $17 buffet, which was MUCH worse that the free buffets you get at budget hotels.
Pros: The taxi service was fantastic, the room was nice and the staff friendly. I will come back!
Pros: Service, location, value, ambiance, shuttle service
Pros: Pretty good location - 10-15 minute walk to empress and downtown. Right next to fisherman's wharf. Good Restaurant.

Cons: Maid service - failed to replace washcloths and all pillows on bed
Pros: Awesome staff and I got a free upgrade. Even helped with problem with car
Pros: We loved this location and staff... Room was nice and comfortable with great city view.
Pros: Good Location with Friendly Staff
Cons: Fitness room was too small and lacking quality and variety, Room was hot with noisy air conditioner. Conversations in hall seemed like they were always right outside door
Pros: This is a well located well appointed hotel. Rooms slightly dated, but comfortable and clean. You will be centrally located to everything you want to do in Victoria.
Pros: Very clean and really close to everything !!!
Cons: Bed made too much noise , not comfortable
Pros: Not much. Staff was friendly, location was good.
Cons: Furniture was nicked/had holes in it. Air conditioning was a cheap portable one you could pick up at Costco. Staff got my order wrong, still charged full price after remaking it. Bed was stiff and squeaky.
Our toll-free reservations number: 1-800-663-5891.A warm welcome to you from all of us at the Chateau!
Cons: I booked a double queen bed room for 4 people but was told the price I got was only for 2 people. The lady charged us $15 extra per person. Not very accommodating.
Pros: Convenient location - 10 mins away from downtown Victoria. Well furnished rooms with fridge and microwave.
Cons: We could hear our neighbours upstairs all throughout the night...
Pros: The Hotel was very clean and tidy. Beyond expectations. We were greeted at the front desk, who was very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to friends traveling to Victoria. Would book again if in the area.
Excellent place .. Great place to stay if your in Victoria for numerous days as the room is very clean and large and very affordable ..
Pros: Very large and clean room .. It was nice and quiet and the room was really comfortable and spacious . Friendly guy checked me in . Close to the Mayfair mall . Had no AC but with windows opened it stayed cool and quiet .
Cons: Internet worked but was a bit weak .
Placing you within a 15-minute drive of British Columbia Parliament Building and University of Victoria, Mayfair Motel offers an airport shuttle at scheduled times for CAD 23.00 per person. Freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks, and guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: I have a problem with the ATM but they did not help me at all.
They only said that the ATM is not of the hotel ,but I think they have to be more helpful in this cases.
Pros: Location and views are fantastic. I love these old-style character hotels.
Cons: Not up to the standards of other Fairmont Hotels we've stayed in. They messed up our meal reservations and even messed up the correction, so we never did eat there. Some staff really didn't seem to know what they were doing or could even answer or questions properly and never offered to find anything our or get back to us.
Pros: The rooms are really beautiful.
Cons: The facility is under complete renovation. It wasn't as grand as you'd expect. Although the rooms are super nice, I think for the price there are a million better deals to be had. It's slightly over hyped in my opinion.
Pros: We loved it!
Pros: Had an awesome time at the Empress for our 20th Anniversary. The people everywhere were super helpful and friendly. The location was excellent and within walking distance to so many fun things.
Cons: The afternoon tea was enjoyable but definely over priced.
Pros: We booked a Fairmont Gold room based on another recommendation and boy was it worth it. The private lounge is spectacular, the concierges were all extraordinary (and made a big difference helping us maximize our 2 nights in Victoria) and the food and drink (including a fully-stocked honor bar) were fabulous. We felt like royalty.
Pros: High Tea at the Empress, the concierge was very helpful helping me book Helijet and bus service into and out of Victoria.
Pros: Very nice room, very friendly people!!
Pros: This historic property welcomes you in the moment you step onto the property. The immediate attendance to your every need is immediately relaxing and makes you feel wanted. The location could not be better with the entire harbor visible form the front and every floor above as you exit your elevator. The entire city downtown is vibrant and easily walkable with something for every tase and experience.t
Cons: The room was a bit warm and may not have had air conditioning. We simply opened the windows and used a portable fan form the oversized closet area.
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic.
Cons: Not one dining room open that children were aloud to eat! Overly expensive for what you get! $50.00 for a pot of tea!!!! Crazy.
I guess they have the location that's about it!
Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: The room we got was ridiciuosly old, we had to wait two hours for a normal room which indeed was a good surprise.
Staff was not always attentive and responding in a timely manner.
Generally, we were expecting more from a Fairmont hotel...
