Great Location. The beach, train station and the main street all within 5 min walk. 24h reception - I have checked-in quite late at night and left at 4 am and It was not a problem at all and everything went smoothly.
The facilities were below minimal - there are no separate power plugs for each bed and no for the upper bunk beds. There was also no separate lighting for each bed only main harsh light for the whole room, so when people when leaving at night they had to light whole bedroom and since bunk beds do not have curtains I was a little bit disturbing. No paper or towels in the toilet when I was visiting.
Great location & friendly staff
Dirty floor covering and bathrooms. Stale bedding. Broken locks in the room and bathroom. Drunk people around.
The staff were really nice and there was a well equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook. The room was clean and spacious and I think the staff had organised it so no men were staying in the dorm, just me and one other girl, which was conscientious of them.
The bathrooms weren't very clean so I didn't feel comfortable using the shower. The doorbell goes off all night and morning when people come in from their nights out and it's very loud, you can hear everybody.
Location was near to beach
Good location but otherwise a disaster.
The girl working at the reception was very bored and unhelpful. The whole hostel smelled of old food and a bit of wet dog. The other guests were very loud during the night, slamming doors and screaming. The window in the dorm could not be closed properly so everything smelled of smoke from outside. The sheets were cheap plastic and sweaty. To use the power outlet I had to move the bed. There was a women's bathroom, that also seemed to be used by men. The toilet seats were broken and everything was only superficially cleaned. I would only recommend this hostel if you really just need a bed for a few hours and don't mind anything else.
