Helpfull and curtious staff at every point, matched only by the high quality of the room No
Great location as we were able to walk to the rowing races from there. It was hot when we were there and we did miss not having any air conditioning...it made sleeping a little difficult for us
Good service, flexible on wishing to check in early (normal check in at 14.00 hrs a bit late?), nice breakfast, good room.
For someone with a car, it's a very quiet country location with plenty of parking, yet close to a number of Danish sightseeing attractions (including the town of Soro itself). A bad odor (musty, slightly sewer-like) emanated from the shower drain in the bathroom of our lower floor room. Keeping a folded towel over the drain took complete care of it during our stay, but it's certainly a problem the hotel needs to fix.
Very good beds, a great variety of different pillows to choose, nice staff and a very good breakfast! We asked in advance until when the swimming pool was open, the hoten answered until 23.00h. When we were at the hotel, the pool turned out to be open only until 22.00h, which left us very little time to use it.
Able to invite friends to share the pool with us.Reception staff particularly helpful.
Very clean and good facilities. Comfortable stay in scenic, peaceful surroundings. Wonderful view from restaurant.
Close to the highway but far enough not to hear it in the night. Very friendly hotel staff and free internet connection (if I remember right). There is a good and cosy restaurant 3 min from hotel by car: http://www.stovletkatrineshus.dk. In order to eat at the hotel restaurant you have to make a reseveration before...If you do not know there is no table for you (however the lady recommended the restaurant above and it was a very good advise)
Room was OK. It was a Suite booked for my parents and they thought the room was really nice (nice bathroom etc.) room 201. My parents were not impressed by the food in the restaurant, fish were good but vegetables and potatoes they mentioned was not exactly gourmet....
I stayed at the Hotel Postgaarden mainly because of its good location, and I was not disappointed. It was comfortable and efficient.
Postgaarden is a nicely situated hotel with a very friendly staff. The hotel is situated in the middle of the very beautiful village Soroe and a small walk will take you to the nature or to the nice centre of Soroe. Breakfast was good and quiet. The booked Suite was not really to categorize "Suite", the room was same (or even smaller) than a normal sized room at the hotel, the extra Suite comfort was a bathtub we were told (and a seeting area, but that was in the bathroom...). Food in the restaurant leaves room for improvement.
The breakfast was good. The wireless Internet connection did not work.
Our friends had a party there so we decided to spend the night to avoid traveling afterthe party. Rooms were tiny, bed tiny, bathroom smelled very badly of mold, shower broken. Service not friendly at all. Room, bathroom, service
Nice countryside, friendly staff - definitly will cone back
I appreciated the nice helpfull staff (english speaking), and the fact that the restaurant remains open late in the evening (important when you get to the hotel late)
Recetion is not in the same building, directions were partially cancelled so it was not easy to understand where it was. Isolate, Out of town, there s not connection except taxi. The annexed restaurant is terrible, never had such a bad meal!!!!!
Quiet, clean and comfortable. Recommended for a good night on a trip.
Excellent for car drivers
The facilities were new and clean with everything needed to meet our very basic needs. The cost was high for what you get for your money. There are no little extras included. Even the bathroom was not stocked with the little complimenary shampoo or lotions. The resturant is not attached to the hotel and is located with a tank station and convenience store right of the expressway.
Convenient location for trip to Sweden and Normay - roomy and modern hotel with helpful staff We stayed at the hotel on our way to and our way back from Sweden and our experience was different. The first time we were staying on the ground floor in a comfortable, good-sized, modern room while on our way back we got a room on the first floor which was smaller, older and dirtier. Unfortunately, that gave our positive first impression of the hotel a bit more nuance.
We needed a place to crash before continuing our journey the next day. This hotel was exactly what we needed: along the route, possibility for late check-in, decent breakfast and clean rooms. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and behind a Danish "dollar store". Not a holiday destination.
Quite big hotel near shopping center and highway Retaurant closes quite early in the evening.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Personnell of the hotell was nice and helpful from the info desk to the cleaning staff. One night stay and no problems. The hotel furnishing, all the way from the barh room tiles to linen and towels would need a renewal considering all the stars given to the hotel. The air wasn't that fresh either, so there might be even more to do. A lot of dust and spider webs could have just been cleaned away.
Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant, with tasty evening buffet (on Fridays). Great location for travellers with their own car.
The silence and the quietness firstly, the room was warm and very clean. I appreciated the service of internet in room. From my point of view (I'm a student) the hotel is a bit expensive.
The quality of the bar and restaurant + the fact that it was still open after 1000 pm The hotel is a bit hidden behind the parking lot of the shopping center, and the bath rooms are somewhat small.
There are many children, and young fammiles. The people came different countries. Sweden, Norway, Niederland, Russa, German, Poland and ofcourse Denmark. Every afternoon I nedd to checked my room-carde at recepcion, and without this I couldn't to oppen my door.
Very nice Hotel, surroundings beatyfull, good breadfast
The chef put together a very nice meal for us on request. The staff were very helpful. This hotel is mainly used for conferences and group activity breaks. The rooms are in an annex and are basic but clean. There is no a la carte restaurant service as such as they cater mainly for group bookings. This is not really a hotel for individual travellers.
Location, setting and room Staff should be trained a bit better to welcome singler traveller/client. They look good in give assistance to big group whcih are staying at the hotel for conference but unappropiate skills for single traveller. There was no table at the restaurant because they apparenly book the main room for the conferenz. Same thing for breakfast. Check-out took 30minutes (no one in front of me) becuase of problems in the use of word file.
Ambiance, decor, beautiful countryside location, very quiet location but only 5 minutes from Slagelse. Excellent restaurant, superb food.
Te quite and the silence of the place
Clean, nice rooms. Quite modern - glass as a wall between bathroom and room. Good breakfast No reception - only electronic keys.
Room was clean, modern and comfortable. I arrived at 8.30pm and the restaurant was closed. Had to work hard to get even a sandwich.......strange really.
Hotel located in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Nice architecture. Very comfortable, spacious rooms. Practical and not disturbing hotel service - we received an enter code via sms and that’s all - we could fully enjoyed the place without any problems. Good breakfast.
My room was not cleaned when I was arriving. No staff available to discuss that problem.
Missing of a restaurant / diner service
Lovely contemporary rooms, Free parking & WiFi. Set within a golf course. I liked the concept of receiving a text with your key-code for the front door & room in advance of your arrival. I felt the hotel concept failed. With no reception, the bar staff in the clubhouse are left to manage any issues that arise. Albeit competent there is a big difference between them & a dedicated hotel frontdesk. Once the bar closes there is nobody around until the next morning. As it was the beginning of winter (and I was one of only two hotel guests) I felt rather conscious of my security in the middle of a pitch black golf course and even resorted to carrying around the complimentary 7 iron when I popped to the car or outside for a cigarette. Breakfast was satisfactory but could've done with a few more items and I wouldv've like to see the hot items covered. It's a 9am checkout.
Very clean and modern. I was not send an entry code before I turned up. I had to phone a special number to be let in. The restaurant was only open until 7pm and the room only had 3 tv channels- all in danish.
