The staff is unbelievably friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic and portion sizes were great. Our room was very large with a lovely view of the grounds. There is a wonderful beer garden and children's play area in the side garden. We will surely be staying here again and again! (The price was absolutely perfect!) Just a few small issues in the room. The shower curtain could use a good wash and there was a small bit of paint chipped off one of the radiators. Nothing major.
One of the best guesthouses I've ever stayed in. Really lovely accomodation that was spotlessly clean. Exceptionally welcoming hosts, most helpful and imformative. Fantastic food with huge portions. Great value for money.
Excellent B&B beautiful location and Sarah and Patrick are wonderful hosts. Our room was beautiful with our own patio but the mattress was much too firm.
Owners very helpful and friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. Room well appointed.
Cosy, clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly, great breakfast None!
The b&b is modern, clean, tastefully decorated. it is better than most five star hotels. the breakfast is fab. and you could not find better hosts. Shame we could not stay longer this time!!
The staff was outstanding the frunishings and lay out are amazing, and the food was wounderful.
Room was clean and comfortable, friendly reception staff, nice breakfast. The noise. I could hear the TV clearly from a neighbouring room, but wasn't quite sure which room it was to make a complaint. Maybe a reminder by the TVs for guests to consider other guests, would be helpful?
Everytjing - where do I start?!The room was perfect, the staff wonderful, the food fantastic (best steak I've ever had) very clean and overall a super place to relax. I can't recommend this establishment highly enough!
That it is a very good all-round hotel with just what I needed. I have stayed before N/A
Very friendly service. Great gym/pool facilities. Very nice meal. The only thing was a very creaky floor in the bedroom
Very friendly knowledgeable staff. Excellent customer service - I was working away from home on my birthday and I was given a free bottle of bubbly!!! Lovely quiet setting with beautiful garden. The shower in the bathroom was very poor - just a dribble so it took ages to have a wash. It was good to have a leisure club but the changing areas smelled a bit musty and could have been cleaner.
-good size room even though a little dated (facilities fine) -clean sheets -good service -descent breakfast busy on the night (wedding) therefore no parking for guests - evening meal not top notch which I had expected judging by surroundings & prices in menu - room & bathroom definitely ready to be refurbished
Family room was spacious as was the double bed Arrived just after 5pm and the hotel smelled of cooked food.which lingered into the evening - perhaps they need better extractor fans. The breakfast was at best OK - greasy and event the mushrooms had been deep fried and tasted of stale fat. The children were not allowed in the pool unitl 10 am - I think this rule could be relaxed when you're paying £120 a night for 2 adults and a child in a hotel that I wouldn't grade as 4 star
the service & accommodation
After a long journey and busy working day, it's lovely to be greeted by friendly, pleasant, efficient and welcoming staff. Instantly you begin the 'unwind' process. The well furnished comfortable rooms provide great 'chill out' space. If you do need to catch up on work tasks and emails, access to the internet, and a comfortable desk, meet your requirement. The Conservatory provides a wonderful view of the grounds and can be used for business catch-up, enjoying a beverage or two, or just unwinding. The overall package the hotel provides is wonderful and just what you need when your away from home on business. Nothing at all - perfection!
Views Heating turned off at night
friendly, hassle free staff, peace and quiet. Getting away froim city life is wonderful once in a while and picked theright place, pity i couldnt use the pretty pool as i had an ear infection, almost stepped onto the beach fantabulous Thanks Pity i coulndt get my 2 tiny dogs in, i would have paid extra, maybe or maybe not you could re-considor small pets with managers discretion????????with a policy of any damage charge would be made, make it an hefty one so that owners woiuld think thrice!!!
We stayed at the hotel as we were invited to a family wedding and evening reception. The hotel did the couple proud service, reception, evening buffet we very good, staff very helpful throughout. none
We had a very enjoyable stay, food good and the were staff very friendly and helpfull,it was that good we are returning for Christmas. Nothing
Restaurant and bar staff were very inexperienced. Bar staff were not very polite considering they were the ones making mistakes and not being very apologetic.
Leisure facilities There was a wedding reception taking place while we were staying only Bar meals were available it would have helped to have known this beforehand as the hotel is a little isolated . Also our room overlooked a Holiday camp which should have been mentioned . I asked for soft boiled eggs for breakfast which were served hard , my wife requested smoked haddock which was barely warm and rather bland . Despite an excellent swimming pool and steam room the Sauna was not working and according to other guests had not been in operation for some days .
Friendly, comfortable, breakfast good. Very small room but for the money not bad value
Very large and comfortable room with great sea view.
The view from our room and the staff and service Nothing
Great service, friendly staff, great food. Couldn't have the breakfast as I had to leave early for work so they made me a packed lunch...
Friendly helpful hosts,excellent food
Very friendly owners ,good food ,beautiful house Shower difficult to control due to noise through mixer control.
Very relaxing environment, beautiful room (Champagne), very friendly host.
Jeremy and Carolyn are very welcoming hosts to a beautiful little romantic retreat. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed, and the bathroom was high class with large separate shower and Victorian roll top bath. The drawing room was cosy and the breakfast very good. Excellent value. No
Ffarm Country House (thanks to its owners Jeremy and Carolyn) offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A great place to relax and enjoy North Wales.
The staff were very attentive and polite. The hotel was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay here.
A lovely relaxing stay, very nice location good access to north wales and snowdonia, perfect for a little getaway, and nice big bath was just right after hiking up Snowdon! The weekend restaurant meal is fantastic ( Masterchef quality!) and extremely good value for money. The proprietors are also very friendly with good knowledge of the local area.
Jeremy was a very engaging and helpful host. Room was well appointed and clean. Good Internet connection and TV. His made to order breakfast set you up for the rest of the day. Good base for touring. No dinner service during our stay but local pub had good food at a reasonable price.
The owners of the hotel were superb, friendly, attentive while giving us space to enjoy our stay. The room was very comfortable and well decorated with everything you could want, with the exception of may be a few more teabags! The location is good being both close to the coast and to the mountains. Food was very good,
Beautifully decorated throughout.Excellent food. The owners Caroline and Jeffrey were very friendly and welcoming.
This is a beautiful bed and breakfast, they also provide evening meals if you ask.The owners are friendly , the facilities are spotless. It is the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. Food was lovely.A really good experience.
Room, lovely, bathroom incredible--never saw lights in the floor before; Happy we stayed in for dinner, which was simply excellent. Angie and Carlie are wonderful hosts.
Everything was brilliant. Very comfortable place, luxurious, excellent breakfasts, fresh milk in the rooms, friendly hosts. Nothing
The hospitality of Charlie and Angie was second to none. This is a first class B&B that would put many top class hotels to shame.
You get what you pay for and our experience at the Castle House was outstanding.Comfort, cleanliness, beautifully decorated and lovely views of the Clwyd valley. There were none.
Friendly and helpful staff
The location was lovely and very peaceful, the rooms were fabulous and fabrics and furnishings were really luxurious. The owners were really friendly but not intrusive - very good hosts. The food was fantastic! I would like this to be a secret for just us really but wish Bre and Graham a very successful future at the Pentre Mawr. HOnestly can't think of anything.
The whole atmosphere andt the friendliness of Graham and Bre
Wonderful hosts, great house, rooms, food. Feels like you're visiting old friends.
Very distinctive and interesting, beautiful situation, peace and quiet Lack of modern shower, bedroom somewhat overdressed for my taste detracted from essential quality
Excellent staff made the welcome feel very personal - nothing was too much trouble. Two first-class dinners in the conservatory and an excellent breakfast each morning.
Lovely rooms, quiet+++ None
ambience of the room, cleanliness, breakfast. Poor signage on how to get to you
The standard of the bedroom, lounges. Dining room, quality of food etc N/A
Price quoted was £75.00 price to pay at hotel was £90.00 ?
The staff at the hotel where impeccable, they ensured our stay was pleasurable. The food was delicious, the rooms were clean and the hotels location is absolutely beautiful. The facilities were also good, its very relaxing to have a jacuzzi and sauna after a hard days holidaying. It is very likely that we will return some time in the future and we will be recommending it to familiy and friends.
Quiet and peaceful. Friendly staff Some areas need attention and updating. Some under utilised and bare areas
Easy to find, very helpful staff, excellent rooms no
The breakfast was ok The hotel overall was "shabby" and in need of a refurbishment. The reception was not manned all the time - the receptionist appeared to be doing more than one job at once - not very welcoming.
It was a quiet and peasefull place good frendly, and helpful staff the meals were also very nice with a good selection
Beautiful setting, impressive gardens, lovely bathrooms with nice showers. Dining area is very modern and well laid out. Very handy for visiting friends. Breakfast poor on both days, day 1 buffet, no fruit available, coffee very strong, much of the cooked food was lukewarm, day 2 we went for breakfast at 7.30am and the staff had not got everything set up! Bed large but soft and bouncy. Two bars open but only staff in 1 and the beer we asked for had run out - at the start of the evening and needed the barrel changing. Bedroom was very dusty.
Staff very helpful & attentive Restaurant superb Menu varied & interesting Food superbly presented & cooked Fine choice of wine Rooms were tired Children had a room with no showere facility Ordered & paid for newspaper which we didn't receive
The room was very comfortable and clean, the bathroom had been recently renovated. The restaurant was very good, with a good variety of dishes, freshly cooked and well presented. The service was very good and friendly. The spa/pool was undergoing renovation and was not at the same standard as the rest of the hotel.
Everything. Food outstanding. Facilities all you could ask for.
Easy to find. Room was clean, but needs a refub, not good vaule for £90
The room was lovely and comfortable we had 1 night stay and really enjoyed it and we would return in the future. There was nothing we did not like,
Pleasant rooms ,pleasant staff good food & real ale Just the price
Staff very very friendly , nothing too much , very welcoming Booked 2 ad 1 ch on internet , though booking didnt stipulate that , though the staf at rhuddlan rectified this quickly
Booked a disabled room due to my husbands bad back and it was excellent, pub next door with food was good but only pub food Disabled bathroom had no shower only a bath which my husband could not get into
Service at the hotel reception and the restaurant was very good.
bed, freeview TV, shower no iron
Friendly staff, comfortable room
Poor restaurant, service good, standard of food average. The single bed for our second child was most uncomfortable.
the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. the room was was very comfortable and clean.
The hotel was clean and modern. The restaurant/pub next-door was nice and very convenient especially when arriving late as you don't need to search around for somewhere to eat. You may however need to pre-book a table. The breakfast was good with a choice of cooked or continental. It was not a problem but there was some road noise at night.
