good staff attitude - facilities good, as anticipated - location ideal for our purpose - ood also good
The hotel smells a lot, although the room we were staying was ok.
Great for the money!!! if you have a car, though.
I like the owner's friendliness and hospitality. It offers a budget and high quality accommodation with free parking and wifi. The room doesn't have a proper table, just cupboards and double bed, however I think that's fine based on the price. The toilets for sharing are clean and well-equipped. Breakfast is very nice too. It's value for money after all. Definitely recommend it!! no
It is a very family, friendly hotel. Dinner and beer were relly good as well. I really recommend this place, but, .... I need a car :) Very good value-for-money
The staff is very nice, (Dobrý deň, Martin :)), the location is great, near the castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. The breakfast was very good (thanks to Martin, again).
Great breakfast buffet. Restaurant service very good. Cordial and accommodating staff. Beautiful surroundings. Very limited hotel literature in English. Lack of English translations for room instructions, etc.
Great staff and well kept hotel Price, although this was partly because the Euro exchange rate makes it expensive for us to go to Germany at the moment
Extremely comfortable, more upmarket than my usual choice but chosen to stay with friends. Unfortunately a little far from Oberammergau. Would be nice for a relaxing holiday by lake with some walking. All printed information in rooms was in German. My German is limited and while it should not be necessary, these days it is usual to find English translations. Probably the hotel does not have a large non-German clientele except in Passion Play years. However the staff all spoke good English and were willing to help.
The staff was very accommodating, and I especially enjoyed the pool and saunas! The food at the buffet was very good. We were in the area to see the Passion Play, and the hotel was about 1/2 hour drive, other than that no complaints.
The staff was very hospitable. The ceiling of the room we stayed in was too low and moving around at night can be dangerous.
Beautiful setting with far-reaching views to the Alps. Attractive hotel building with nice restaurant and outside seating area. Adequate close parking free to guests. Attached golf course, challenging, enjoyable and extremely well maintained. Discount on green fee for hotel guests. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely meals. The waiting staff in the restaurant were especially helpful and friendly. On the first night of our stay there only seemed to be one person on duty. This poor lady had to wait tables and man the reception. Needless to say, we spent a long time waiting to be served our dinner and were seated for 2.5 hours. But despite this, the lady in question was friendly, helpful and continued to smile while being rushed off her feet. She even found time to find us two extra pillows for our room. All the other nights there were adequate numbers of staff on duty.
The location was okay, although nothing to do at night nearby and the casle view was tiny and in the distance. The breakfast was acceptable, and the woman working in the breakfast room was helpful and friendly. The hotel receptionist was horribly rude. No extra pillow or blanket were given despite the advance notice that a child would be sleeping on the extra couch in our room. When we complained that the heat did not appear to work the staff lied and said that it would take 2 hours to begin working. In both of the rooms that we booked the heat did not work and it was extremely cold. No TV or soap.
nice quiet location with a good view from the room. breakfast was good. Check in and check out was fast. Lots of safe outdoor parking. Near Wies and Fussen. The lady staff taking care of us during breakfast was very helpful and friendly. The smell of the room when we entered was not so good.
not far away neuschwanstein it is not easy to find hotel without navigation
The panorama Too expensive, low service, poor breakfast, no TV...
No soap in the bathroom. After our request we obtained just a little piece of soap and a portion of bubble bath for two person per three nights!. We provided buying soap in the local market. Worn furniture and no tv set in the room (although it was indicated in hotel description).
Beautiful view from the breakfast room. Reception desk staff was very rude and unhelpful. No soap, clock, or TV in room. Radiator heating system was not working and rooms were cold. We were on the 3rd floor. It was very dark and hard to see. Hall way floors were torn up with throw rugs scattered about. This was a safety hazard.
Very quiet area
