Pros (+) Rooms can be made dark in the middle of the day. Beds are comfortable and the staff was friendly. I didn't notice any noise from my neighbors or the highway.
Cons (-) It is not very close to bus lines. Breakfast was kind of weak and the building is a little bit hokey.

Pros (+) Family atmosphere. Clean room. Great deal through kayak. Pool was great. My bathtub faucet was dripping when I first arrived. Knowing the water shortage in CA, I told front desk and maintenance fixed it. On a street with lots of chain restaurants, malls, and driving distance of Wal-Mart and Target. Old Spaghetti Factory and Starbucks right next door with In-N-Out across the street.
Cons (-) Breakfast was minimal (cereal, apples, muffins, bagels, waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt, toast). The motorized chair for the pool wasn't working so man in wheelchair couldn't use it. I could smell cigarette smoke in my room either from a past customer or staff member of hotel even though it was a non-smoking room. Definitely liveable with the smell.
