With a stay at Pedder Wilderness Lodge in Strathgordon, you'll be on a lake, just a 3-minute walk from Jacks Track and a 2-minute drive from Lake Pedder Lookout. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: From the moment we arrive we were made to feel very welcome, check in was very easy, we were shown to our room , food was very tasty and the service was excellent, when it came time for us to leave ,everything was taken care of for us, i would highly recommend Lake Pedder resort
Cons: There was not any thing that we didnt like
Pros: The scenery was great the view from the lodge out of this world with the looking over the lake It was a place you could sit and not worry about anything in the world The staff was great and the Chief makes the best food and the salt and pepper squid is the best ever The service we had from Jenny was exceptional she treated us like family thankyou Jenny and the beer was cold around the fire in the lounge It's well worth a visit but a bit off the beaten track
Cons: The weather was not so good we had wind and rain most of the time and even driving home it snowed
Cons: My room no fridge . Other room has fridge. The room doesn't look like in photo.
Pros: Bar and Restaurant is excellent, with great views
Cons: Did not realise we would not have a fridge. Very basic room, and very noisy, can hear all activities from hallway and other rooms, showers, toilets flushing, talking, doors etc.
Pros: The setting is very pretty by the lake and the dining room overlooks the lake.
Cons: We book for 3, there were 3 beds in the room but only 2 of cups and glasses and other things. There were no table and chairs in the room and the dustbin was very small. It was very basic and bare for the price we paid.
Pros: the dining service was excellent, considering the remote location of Strathgordon.
