Very nice room. Very clean. Staff very nice
They close the breakfast earlier than any other motel. Very disappointing.
This last summer I have stayed at this motel multiple times because it’s what I can afford due to being a single mother and my small disability income. I have rare disabilities that require me to stay out of the heat and cold at all times because of complications from my last brain tumor surgery which caused a list of syndromes and diseases. My 5 year old little girl and I use the rivers & creeks in the area so she as a young child can play outside and so I don’t trigger a crisis which can take my already shorten life I must keep my core temperature cool at all times and I can only do this outside by sitting in creeks, rivers and etc....while she explores and collects her critters. The female staff have been very friendly, helpful and always with a smile. The female staff are very welcoming and one house keeper saw my room was not very clean from the last on shift house keeper and she went beyond being helpful by not only cleaning the room spotless but came back to ensure I was happy. The room was like night and day. It made my little girl and I feel much more comfortable since before the re-cleaning of the room it was pretty disgusting.
The male clerk is not welcoming and was often rude with little words. I believed he is the owner or a relative of the owner and when I tried to give praise of the awesome house keeper he didn’t say anything and it made me feel disrespected and not heard. When I booked the room, in the requirements/requests section, I explain every time That I’m disabled and I need a ground floor room. I don’t think that is too much to ask for since I did this ahead of time during booking and becoming a regular this summer. Every time it is clear they don’t read or even try to accommodate. At checkin I always have to remind them I need a ground floor room and with the male clerk he didn’t want to give me a ground floor room even after I explained I can’t do stairs and I need to be closer to the exits. Although there were open rooms on the first floor he wanted to continue give me a difficult time about taking the second floor saying those were smoking rooms even after I repeatedly told him I don’t smoke indoors. When he finally gave in by checking me into a ground floor room he was ruder and didn’t even respond to me telling him thank you. In the past I tried the only handicap accessible room they have in the whole building and there was mold in the bathroom and they charge higher prices for the handicap accessible room with no difference from other rooms except there is a shower chair and railings in the bathroom. The price gouge is illegal and discriminative against the disabled.
It's decent for the price. You can expect Grand Hilton for a $60 room. this was our second or third stay there the staff is always decent the rooms are clean all I care about is a clean bed and a hot shower. While I am high on customer expectations you get what you pay for. I would rather stay here in a comfortable decent room then pay over $100 a night to sleep in a bed for a few hours.
Not much really
Rooms were filthy. Breakfast was a joke. Every bit of the whole hotel was run fown and smelled like an ashtray. Workers were sketchy and rude. Rooms never got cleaned our whole stay. We watched drug deals and prostitutes from our room window. Overall worst hotel ive ever stayed at and will never stay again
Location was good
It was an average stay
