The rooms are good quality with stone floors so pet friendly. They are in block separate from the main pub restaurant but food was good for both evening and breakfast. Quiet location for good sleep and views over to the sea.
The grounds were tired in places with tatty fences. Sloping car park but plenty of space. Would be busy in summer as good for surfing.
Great food, Sunday Lunch was great, excellent value for money!
Really nice hotel and the pub attached is fantastic. Lovely location, would definitely come back. Reliable wifi and good TV. Coffee and tea services and the front desk will always give more of anything if you need them. The staff are always friendly and ample parking. Easy to get to the beach with a surf shop next door and lovely walking around the area. We stay a couple of times a year and will be booking again. I would recommend booking a table in pub if you wish to eat as it get very busy but food and drinks are always served quickly and the food is always great. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choice.
Shower was a little weak, took a long time to heat up and was very noisy within the room, when the shower was running it drowned out the sound of the TV in the room it was so loud. I will probably spend a little more next time and get a deluxe room with a carpet as the stone floor can be a little cold and gritty on bare feet.
Every thing food very good staff very friendly excellent
