Lovely hotel in great location
Our room faced the kitchen exhaust system so was very noisy , didn’t get much sleep.
Great location and very comfortable
Shower screen makes turning on shower difficult
Clean. Comfortable bed.
Room was above Toilets. Every Time someone Dryed there hands you could hear the dryer. Not Great when pub didnt close to 1230. Apart from that Great.
Twin singles instead of a double bed that I thought I had booked
Great location in the centre of town, just around the corner from where Pride was taking place that we were going to. Good food in bar. Comfy big bed, compact room but enough space for two still. Friendly staff who serviced the rooms. Door security on 2nd evening were friendly. Not clear at first where breakfast area for guests was but once there, breakfast was good range of cereals, pastries, fruit, cooked, juices etc.
First of all putting advertised postcode into my satnav took us to a differently named pub about 10mins down the road from where we should have been?! When found pub, carpark easy to miss unless had seen it on streetview (as partner had) - said to get ticket for parking from hotel reception if you were a guest to park for free. Arrived around 8pm, bar very busy and noisy. Stood at end of bar where it said 'reception' to try and catch someones eye. Security came over to us, explained we were waiting to check in, ok said someone will come see you there. Eventually caught staff's eye to check in, had to shout and ask for things to be repeated several times in order to check in. Tad stressful. Asked about parking ticket was given receipt for room payment to put in car?? Didnt look right but didnt get clamped so presume it was ok. Another chap showed us to our room and was helpful with our question about getting dinner. Their 'reception' is a roll up lockable screen on a unit at the end of the bar, not a very suitable place on a busy pub evening!!
