We loved how friendly staff was. We loved the price considering it was graduation weekend at FSU. We loved the fully stocked breakfast and many areas to relax outside the room. We liked the night time fire pit. We didn’t like that the floor was still sticky in a spot from jelly from the last resident. We wish 4 pillows were provided for 2 people instead of 3. We wish there was a bit more hanging storage, not in the bathroom alone for our hanging clothes. We would recommended and stay again

Pros:The hotel we booked months in advance to go see FSU vs. Notre Dame was a severe disappointment. We booked in advance as the hotels in the area book up quickly due to the game. The price was high due to the volume of people in town for a much anticipated game so we were fine with the price until we arrived. The hotel room was very dirty, the bathroom door would not shut, no cover over the fluorescent light in the bathroom, the shower mat in the shower was dirty and very old-actually looked like it should have been a disposable mat and had seen better days. Coffee maker provided/coffee provided, no coffee pot to make coffee. Bedding was old and dirty, sheets had holes on both fitted and flat sheet, very thin, stained and old. Carpet felt sticky and dirty. The room had an awful odor of stale cigarettes and alcohol (this was a non smoking room). we could hear every conversation in the other rooms next to us (other guests speaking at a normal level or loudly as our neighbors were until 3:00 am) the tube television had poor reception, some channels showed a split screen as if the picture tube was about to die.The lights and alarm clock next to the bed on the night stands would not work (blown fuse maybe?) every part of this stay was disgusting. Working within the hotel/service industry as we both do, we know what is acceptable and what is not- the fact that the price of this hotel was only about $10-20 less that the brand new Motel 6 across the street is mind blowing and we regret not spending the additional money to enjoy our long awaited weekend away. Hotel staff was friendly but they need to clean and do some well needed upgrades asap.
