The lady that checked us in was very unfriendly and bordered on rude. Our room was unbelievable and not in a good way. I have stayed at many Shilo Inns over the years and luxury is a word that I would use to describe those hotels. This one, not at all. The room was sub-standard for a Shilo. We had a queen room, the bed was okay, the pillows were so flat you had to put 2 of them together to make one and we only had 2 pillows. The on site restaurant was even more unbelievable and again not in a good way. The carpet was filthy and smelled dirty. The seats in the booths were torn with holes in them. Restaurants at a Shilo are known to be upscale and on the fancy side. There was one person split between the bar and the dining room. She was doing the best she could but was alone until what looked to be a manager finally showed up. Over all I would rate this hotel along the lines of a Motel 6 and even then the Motel 6 might be nicer.
Convenient for Maryhill concerts.
An easy drive after a great concert at Maryhill. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and quiet. There is a little sitting space outside the room facing the nice grass area around the pool. Breakfast was included, and the price was very reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
There isn't an elevator so make sure you request first floor if steps are an issue.
Tired motel ingreat location
Dirty and beat up. Internet spotty, Free breakfast not worth the price, Won't be back
Old rooms, understaffed dining service, but staffs
Nice view of dam and gorge
Old and dirty look rooms Loud and noisy AC Understaffed and long wait in the dining room Old and dirty look dining area
Friendly and helpful staffs, the building/room is
Beautiful view from the property Friendly staff A hardworking and good spirit male server in the dining area
Old building and smelly rooms, loud ac in the room. it's poorly understaffed in the dining room during breakfast. It was a long long wait to be seated and another long long wait to be served. The poor hard working male server had to be multitasked and race through everything. He still keeps good spirit though. Thumbs up for him.
will stay somewhere else next time
Comfortable Bed outside pool
Old carpeting soiled chair in room Loud AC unclean restaurant (cobwebs on windowsill) cranky waitress
Adequate, but a bit disappointing
Clean, smelled fine. Had a fridge and microwave. Staff was friendly.
There were no regular rooms facing the view, the pool was not yet open (we had 80 degree weather), no hot tub available. The from looked like it hadn't been updated in at least 20 years. Loud air conditioner.
The location was great. We didn't have a view of the river however we walked down one evening & it was beautiful! I would always choose this hotel over any of the other ones in the area. Overall, we love this place.
The bed & pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. There we loud guests who we could hear coming in and out of their rooms, slamming doors behind them.
IMO not a good stay
The staff seemed friendly and it was nice that the hotel is connected to a lounge/restaurant. The included breakfast was a nice perk.
Although the hotel appears clean on the service, we had a big problem. We arrived around 10pm on a holiday weekend. Our son was tired and ready to snuggle in for some sleep. That was fine, until my husband saw what looked like blood sports on his sheets. Granted this was a pull out couch, so it may not be checked every time, but really it's curious to see when it was last checked. Our son snuggled into our bed and we all fell asleep. The next morning we reported it to the front desk. Although she seemed disgusted and said she would take care of it; she never said she was sort. Seriously, IMO even though this is an inexpensive overnight stay, you would expect clean sheets; YUCK!
This place is in desperate need of an uograde
