The place was great, well located, and Mr.Stravos (the owner) was waiting for us at the port, eventhought we didn't ask for it.Very goog value for money. Totaly recomend it.
Hotel stuff was very nice and helpful. The room with the balcony is very nice.
Perhaps only a bit of a steap walk to the city centre, but duable and not far.
Very friendly staff and the standard of cleanliness very good. I think the shuttle service to/from the airport is a big bonus (24/7).
Rooms a bit small.
quite bad. no staff solving problems.
The hotel is on the main road to Ioa and it is a bit noisy.
Better sound protection is required
The hotel reception was very friendly and answered all our questions. Also the owner of the hotel was very nice as he was funny and polite
When we eventually met the staff, they were friendly and made us breakfast. We also enquired about a taxi to the airport and were told we could have a free lift.Marble bathroom. Air-conditioning good.
When we arrived at 20.00 there was nobody at reception. After phone calls Mama arrived to let us in room! After a tiring day on ferries I found it quite a long walk from bus station. It does not have a clear sign to let you know you have found it!
Stavros is adorable and will bend over backwards to help you have the best time. He met us at the port even when we didn't request it (or tell him when or how we would arrive). They probably don't advertise it as it's likely they can't commit to everyone's schedule but drop them a note and they will be happy to pick you up (and drop you back) if possible. Same holds for wi-fi, which you can use the hotel's so long as you have a laptop and get signal (may vary by room, worked in mine). The room was great: clean, bright and airy, with ample space downstairs, a balcony with sea view and the bedroom upstairs, also with sea view. Superb value for money. Also has a swimming pool with jacuzzi - which is not as great as it sounds, but good for relaxing later in the afternoon after the beach. Enjoy Santorini!
It's a rather dull 10min walk from the centre, but you can rent a quadcycle/buggy for ~€8/day anywhere on the island. Reception has strange hours, which was not a problem at all for me but I guess that's where some comments come from. Early in the morning and 8-10pm you should have no problems and there's no reason to be in the hotel in between, to be honest.
