Pros: Locates in so convinient a place. Need no extra fee to use the bath towels. You can choose which heating equipment to cook; electric or gas. The stairs are a little steep for the present building standard, but more gentle than that of my old house.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant weekend. The house is extremely well located. You can go by foot to restaurants, train station and ferry. The house is clean and comfortable. The most important, you are incredibly well received by a friendly host, speaking English, and eager to share his culture and make you discover his area. He will show you photos and books in addition to these great tips. I would return with pleasure. Strongly recommended!

Pros: The food is good! Near the beach and the environment feel comfortable!
Cons: I suggest use a card or password to enter the spa room for the security! Specially for the women safe!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and Dinner were included for the stay. Meal was superior and fresh ingredient in used. Staff in the hotel are super nice too. The hotel is warm caring, as we needed to park our car before check in, the staff have arranged to send us to the hotel on a van with 10 second drive only, as the way up to the accommodation is quite slanting. But without locating up hill, guests won't able to enjoy the pacific ocean view from the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to the sea. The dinner and breakfast are so well. I enjoyed a lot
Cons: The shuttle bus back to Toba Station somehow is fewer and leave a bit early
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was pretty nice. The dinner was FANTASTIC and way more food than we could eat. We used the private outdoor onsen and it was comfortable and pretty. Breakfast was again a ton of food. The fish pedicure in the lobby was fun as well. The view from our room was very nice.
Cons: The free shuttles run twice in the afternoon and once in the morning to Toba train station, so you must plan your travel around those if you want to use them.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Dinner and breakfast were traditional with fresh seafood. Multi courses and enjoyable.
Cons: Rooms were dated. Booked for a balcony room, but was allocated one on the 2nd floor with a poor view over the ground floor roof. Requested for a higher floor, but was given one without a balcony and a bit musty . Had disturbed sleep throughout the night because of mosquitos. Overall, the amount paid was poor value for money , as far as accommodation is concerned .

Pros: Hotel facilities. Rooms. Breakfast
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice big rooms. And excellent food at the restaurant. Awesome views (on the sea side)
Cons: A bit far from town.
7.5 Good
Pros: Spacious "resort" hotel with great views of Toba Bay from balcony . Some floors are currently (Oct 2018) undergoing upgrading. Large room with twin beds, couch, 2 chairs, coffee table, tv. Great free parking. Nice to have a fridge & microwave in room. Very quiet hotel in October. Beautiful grounds with tennis courts but staff seemed to have limited English and nothing in written English about how to access use of tennis courts so unsure what else was available or if you can walk to the shore from the hotel grounds.
Cons: Warning only accessible by car ( if coming by train would be a 20-25 min taxi from train station) Also for those driving (some English speaking people do drive in Japan) a sign in English by the first entrance driveway that says Wisterian Life Club Toba is needed. Only large Japanese style breakfast available (appreciated and what we could eat was good quality but way too much food so felt like some wasted- when offering English speaking people a Japanese breakfast have a check off list filled out the night before as to what they will eat of the Japanese breakfast this will prevent any waste) No other restaurant or meal options available within 20 minutes drive. Not enough English or brochures that staff could have provided suggestions for local restaurants. Would have been nice if staff could have provided English map with local beaches and attractions, even a hand drawn one would be appreciated. Felt very isolated in location as far as tourist info available in English. Wi Fi very very poor quality Only available in lobby!! A resort of this size should provide it in all guest rooms for privacy reasons. Need instructions in English on how to use phone to contact front desk. Availability of extra pillows would have been appreciated. Need more towel racks to hang up wet towels
8.3 Excellent
Pros: - Awesome view from the room which facing the sea - Bus stops in front of the hotel entrance - Spacious and comfortable room
Cons: Far from the town which took almost 30 minutes travelling on bus Nearest restaurant is 1km away from the hotel
9.6 Excellent
Pros: All others are excellent. The staff were very polite with good services.
Cons: Convenient for riding with a car
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice location with a great view of the sea from the room. Staff and reception is kindly and helpful. We have a problems with our flight schedule so we arrive late by 1 day. But the hotel reservation team is helpful and fix all the problems for us. There also a shuttle bus service to the town of Toba.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: not far from Nagoya, less than two hours train. Pick up at Toba station with linken car which is so cool. The staffs are so nice and helpful, and also very handsome. The hotspring is super! Very nice memory for us.
Cons: None
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We liked that it was located right by the ocean. We chose the room with the private onsen - which we HIGHLY recommend - and loved watching the ocean. We loved the room as well -- there was a massage chair, modern bathroom facilities, and spacious living accommodations. It IS a little dated, so the hotel itself will seem a little old, but the room was very comfortable.
Cons: Communication could've been better. When booking, the most important thing to note is that you must indicate what time you will be checking-in. On booking.com, it states to get in touch with Kochoran regarding pick-up, but I sent multiple e-mails with no responses. However, we discovered that they had a shuttle already available based on the check-in time. A quick "yes, we have received your information" would have been helpful! Also, YES, they do serve a kaiseki meal for dinner! (I also e-mailed about that too, with no response).
7.5 Good
Pros: Great view from room. Super friendly personnel. Limousine service is a nice touch.
Cons: Room and whole hotel a bit run down. Persistent smell in room.

Pros: Amazing stay and amazing weather.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast buffet was awesome and very nice to be included. While toba is beautiful there's not a ton of stuff in the way of food nearby so having breakfast at the hotel was great. the views around the hotel were fantastic!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel with great location & stunning harbor view. Great benefit to have such a beautiful Onsen connected to the Hotel. Also the Shuttle is very convenient.
Cons: The Staff either cannot speak any English at all or very limited. It was impossible to make a normal conversation. Kind of surprising for an “International” Hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Selection and quality great. Beautiful views from the dining room. But, the area was a long distance from our room. Had to walk several flights of stairs to get to the elevator which took us to the dining area.
Cons: There was an older, lower level section of the hotel that was connected to our room but not served by an elevator, so we had to deal with two flights of stairs to get to the newer gift shop, lobby and dining areas. The room was lovely, very modern with a view of the bay. Only one drawback was a step up into the very small bathroom. The older section hallway from the lobby to our room had a worn look and not very welcoming.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Food was fine
Cons: Staff have no personal interest in visitors
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect for viewing the gorgeous bay and harbor. We spent part of each evening just watching the sunset and/or the moon dance on the inlet. The staff was very courteous, and helpful, especially the welcome staff. Bus to the train station every half hour was great for getting around, although we had such great weather that we wanted to walk. Breakfast is a lovely buffet, with several different cuisines. The hot tubs looked great, but we did not try them as we have appointments during most of our free time. Our room was quiet, clean and dominated by a fabulous view.
Cons: The dinner was pre-fixe for the most part, and quite pricey. But there are several options for eating local specialties in town ( other side of railway tracks). We felt we might not be sufficiently well dressed to try an evening meal there given we were at the end of a two-week trip and had more dirty clothes than clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent seaview and food!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Can choose breakfast and dinner style between 2 hotels. Payment made at check out. Staffs
Cons: Some guests do not learn about the hotel rules, especially the onsen. Wearing shoes and full clothings walking around Onsen areas and shouting louds…… A printing guide should be given to each guest.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pearl onsen, superb
Cons: nil
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic Washoku food, superb staff and beautiful location. Pearl Onsen!
Cons: Shuttle bus access only. Property is not best reached by foot due to lack of sidewalk.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Mikimoto onsen is marvelous and unforgettable, food are nice, especially the abolone sashimi are very fresh and delicious
Cons: Some fish scales left on the grilled fish Mikimoto cosmetic products are good but it's not very comfortable to use the shared bottles which are the leftover from the other tourists. Suggested to have the sachet packs for guests. The aromatic essences didn't have sufficient refill. Bed mattress is a little old for the Japanese style room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, welcoming snack & drink, Onsen, delicious food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I'm a vegetarian, the staff in the hotel had tried their best to arrange vegetarian meal for me, and offered me the western buffet breakfast instead of the Japanese traditional breakfast which had fish.
Cons: There is nothing I didn't like

Pros: pearl aurora bath was fantastic.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice people, nice welcome, wonderful breakfast and dinner
Cons: Need to be renovated, looks old now
7.5 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff; Very nice food: this was amongst our best Japanese breakfasts in Japan, we were given onigiri for the day, and the diner was delicious; Good location next to the train station, to some nice restaurants, to Mikimoto island and the aquarium.
Cons: Very small bathroom; Air conditioning was old and noisy; The room and ryokan overall would deserve some renovation.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing, every day. Our dinner on our first day was superb and we enjoyed it so much. The staff are very nice and always did their best to accommodate us, and were very helpful. It is also very conveniently located next to Kaito Yumin Club which had many activities to choose from.
Cons: -
7.9 Good
Pros: Really nice place even though it is a little bit run down. Very friendly people. Gorgeous breakfast (can't tell about the dinner, because we didn't have it). Excellent location close to the sea. In walking distance to the station, Mikimoto Peark Island (don't miss! excellent museum) and Toba Aquarium. Only 10 minutes train ride to the Ise shrine. Nice ofuro.
Cons: Nothing :-)
6.7 Good
Pros: The inn is a bit aged. Room size is acceptable but air con needs to be fixed. Public bath is actually just a tub bigger than a normal bath tub. However, location is good which is just a few minutes walk from Toba Station. The owner, an old Japanese woman who does not speak English, is very helpful and accommodating with our request. She even prepared Japanese rice dumplings in the mornings before we left for sightseeing.
Cons: Air con in the room was in sufficient. Bath tub drainage didn’t work well.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very close from nearby train station, wonderful room with sea view, quiet, comfortable, clean. Very friendly welcoming by Owner, English speaking. Unexpected superb onsen on the top floor overlooking the sea - a very nice surprise. We used this place as our base location to visit the Shima and Mie peninsula and the Nara shrines, all easily reachable by train. Great small seafood (and other) restaurants at short walking distance.
Cons: Nothing, we would go back any time!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: love okasan very much. She's very willing to say hello to us and ask if we want something she could help. On the rainy morning okasan ask us if we don't have umbrella and on our checking out day she prepare fantastic onikiri for all of us. that's was our lovely lunch during our trip. I feel very warm like stay with my grandma. Breakfast is so big , delicious and wonderful! okasan's daughter have a very well english. thank you for your kind, love to stay here. toba is very cute you would love to stay here
Cons: hotel a bit old, first i felt bit scary (but staff are so warm) and about toba in the night, city is very quiet there are no people walking around and restaurants are not many i think i should get dinner at kaigetsu
