good enough for solo western business travelers who have not experienced Japanese excellence elsewhere. not much to say in terms of where this hotel excels. some notes on where improvements are necessary (based on our stay in a tower suite): * it's 2023--time to get rid of your alarm clocks with the 30 pin ipod connector. apple hasn't made a product with this connector since 2014--9 years ago * love stains on the couch gotta get cleaned up. this is gross. * the tower suites are huge, but the bathroom is tiny. there's room for one person only in the bathroom. * the shower area has a bathtub which has these huge open gaps on both sides--god knows what's growing/lurking there. i'm sure this hotel was great at some point, but its current state is lacking. will not return. to be fair, none of these issues were brought up to the management.
Pros. Free upgrade to Executive Room with lounge access. Our request for crib, late check out and extra amenities catered for. The lounge pre dinner drinks and Breakfast following morning was superb.
Cons. Minor issue. Kettle took forever to boil
