The hostel staff were super friendly and welcoming! They offered a lot of tips about the local area. The rooms and beds were a good size, me, my huband and 10 month old fit in nicely. The kitchen was well equipped. Location was good, it was close to a lot of attractions and there were lots of restaurants and bars. The limousine bus to Haneda and Narita went from a hotel close by.
There were no curtains in the rooms so it got quite light in the mornings.
Small place really great and friendly staff
Great location in Asakusa, 25 meters from the Hanayashiki amusement park, in the backyard of Sensoji. The staff was very friendly and was very helpful when needed. We took a quadruple room with private shower and toilets and it was exactly what we needed for our family. The kitchen was clean everytime we ate there. Lots of restaurants and stores around, including Family Mart and Life supermarket.
No hot water in the sink (but in the shower it was ok) No blinds in the room so it might bother people who like to sleep in
hope use quilt envelop instead of sheets.
The staff at this hostel are awesome. They answered all our questions and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This is our second stay at K’s Hostel Asakusa ( second trip to Japan). I loved having our own bathroom. Very good value for money. We ended up needing to spend an extra night in Tokyo (after a typhoon hit while we were camping)and we felt like we returned ‘home’ to kind people, warm and comfy beds and a decent shower. We love the location, it is very beautiful in the temple district at night. I recommend getting a matcha ice cream sweet bread sandwich - I will think about this sandwich all the time when I return home to work - I had 3 this trip alone.
Located in Tokyo (Asakusa), K's House Tokyo Oasis - Hostel is within a 10-minute walk of Asakusa Shrine and Sensō-ji Temple. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
