Very nice hotel at a very beautiful location. We had a balcony with lake view. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Parking was tricky. The hotel is located on the water front. Parking is reachable by golf cart.
beautiful scenery and waterfront outlook, helpful staff luggage was difficult to get to hotel ,but, that was due to location
Breakfast very good Main restaurant was closed down due too few guests
Food and friendly staff No
Location restaurant closed on night we wanted it for my partners 50th birthday and piano night in bar was cancelled
Attentiveness of staff. Excellent restaurant. Very good choice and quality at breakfast. Good Rooms, excellently appointed. A minor issue but the technology (e.g. air conditioning and sound systems in rooms) was too complex.
The situation was excellent. The dining area was very pleasant with a lovely outlook. Staff were absolutely first class. Rooms were ok but small. Bathroom was very good with an excellent shower and nice towels. I would like to have had access to a lounge area with comfortable seating as the bed room was rather small and the balcony also rather small, but attractive. The hotel advertised a tv satellite facility but the BBC World station had very poor reception and was unwatchable.
I like the relationships with all the staff .The breakfast was very good.
We loved the hotel location, the town the hotel was in and the general decor of the hotel. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the bed was the most comfortable I have slept on. Balcony and view was also great. The hotel bar shut early, and staff didn't seem very flexible in the bar. The hotel seemed to cater much more for German visitors, as the staff seemed to understand German more and all TV channels on the television in the room were either Italian of German.
Very nice hotel, good location, professional staff, great breakfast.
Pleasant, attentive staff, gorgrous views, convenient location, nice restaurant. no
The setting was wonderful and the breakfast selection excellent. The gardens and hotel surroundings were just beautiful. Staff were helpful and reasonably pleasant. The room did not really compare with the pictures on the website- a little disappointing. The bathroom of our room was really very small and compact.
Ideal location to beautiful town of Torri del Beneco. Most comfortable bed I ever slept in.Staff always very helpful especially the receptionist Marie Rose. Nothing was too much trouble for her. A little variety in the breakfast would be welcomed when staying a week. Bring swim shoes if you want to swim in the lake. The jacuzzi in the pool was not turned on although peak season doesn't finish until Oct and this was the 1st week in Sept.Don't always expect the local bus to arrive on time, or take the lenght of time specified. We had to get a train to Venice 2hrs later than planned because of traffic and the bus arriving 40mins late.
It was very close to the water. The pool was nice and not too crowded when we used it. The air conditioning in the room was very welcome. Although the room was cool with air conditioning, the reception, bar and restaurant area were too hot. I think air conditioning was on but because all the doors and windows were open it was hot and stuffy inside. Restaurant menu limited.
We had a fantastic view over Lake Garda from our room and the food was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom was rather narrow
we were made to feel very welcome at all times. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble;a member of the kitchen staff even offered to get up early to make our breakfast as we were leaving very early one day to go to venice. The sheets and towels were changed every day! The breakfasts were very good.
I enjoyed the scenery of Lake Garda. The Lake was beautiful and so were the mountains.
Cleaness, accessbility, quiet Amazing: it was the first time in all my life that I have been charged 2 Euros for a simple glass of water
The hotel was clean friendly everything that is needed is available, no problems what so ever. no, everything was fine.
Location and accomodation are great, amazing view.
I like the sit. of the hotel. Nice view and sports facilities. Good place for kids. I was at this hotel 2002 when it was new. It has became a little shappy and the col. of the house and inside has been changed for the worse. Also you have to eat from the bourd ... you dont have a menu to choose from.
the fact that it had a swimming pool it never had any shops close by
Location was excellent, food was good and plentiful, Bar was not that easy to get a drink from as it was understaffed in the evening and the drinks were relatively expensive.
Great position in town close to restraunts, room was very clean and staff very helpful. Close to Garda and bardolino (10 mins in a taxi) Not many lake ferries through the day, so had to use taxis and local bus to get to main ferry places.
We relaxed and enjoyed the pretty town and lake and visited Bardolino. As we left on Monday morning we didn't have as much time to enjoy the Monday market as we'd have liked. The hotel staff, especially the waitress at breakfast and the bar staff were very friendly - an excellent weekend break.
The superb harbourside position, good service and excellent food. None
nice view breakfast was not so nice. Fresh fruits and variety of cheese and lunch meats were missing.
Wonderful location. Helpfull staff. Very convenient car park. Reasonable breakfast.
Calm and quiet hotel in short walking distance from the Garda lake. Very friendly staff makes the stay an enjoyable one.
the staff were friendly, the rooms were always spotless, cleaners very friendly also, nice quiet hotel the breakfast could have been a bit more varied, the residents bar didnt stay open
The interior design is new and pleasant; located close to the center; has nice balconies with a view to the lake. It is mentioned that the hotel has parking, but it is a public one and not private. even though it is only 30 meters from the hotel, it is not plesant when raining. In addition, the stuff was not pleasant (besides the owners who are charming) and got very angry if one had a comment on the hotel and service.
the rooms were very spacious the hotel is located in a nice position for views if on a front room were excellent and reasonably quiet the breakfast was good to English not to good
relaxed atmosphire, freindly staff ,good food, good accommendation
Hotel Pace is beatiful and peaceful hotel near the city of Torri del Benaco ( 500m) and beach (200m). Rooms were tidy and big balcony with nice view to the lake was great! You couldn't get fresh, aromatic cafe on breakfest. Instead of that they serve quite bad-tasting cafe form the automatic. Also the material of towels was poor quality.
Very kind staff who is prepare to fulfil your wishes during a whole day, simply but very tasteful three-courses dinner for a great price, beautiful location with a romantic wiev on the mountains, lake and castle (from the front side rooms). I appreciate to be more fresh fruits for breakfast, specially during the season.
All the staff were friendly and helpful. Good location near the castle. Garage parking nearby (20m)-hotelier kindly escorted us there -kept the car cool as below ground. 20 euro deposit required. Nice atmosphere. Good views of Lake Garda from room. Easy to locate the hotel using local signs. More detailed description on the print-out on how to get to the hotel.
The view over the lake,I would not have been pleased if I had been given a room at the back. The air con should be totally refitted,it did not do its job.,the fact that it was switched off every morning did not help.Would also have been nice to have fuffy towels. This should never be advertised as a 4star hotel,
Room with sea view was excellent. I enjoyed the breakfast - well catered.
Very Little..........trapped in the 1960's I have been travelling now for about 40 years on companies business and this is one of the most dated hotels aimed at the German low cost coach / older traveller market. Rooms are dark with 3ft wide single beds, so-called air-con, cannot keep the 33C temperature down at all and it doesn't help when the complete Hotel air-con is turned off every day at 9.20am until late afternoon. One of the worst Hotels (so called) I have ever stayed in!! Never again...thank you Booking.com for getting us in there (not).......you need to research more diligently before recommending this type of overpriced Hotel.....awful!!!
Staff very helpful, free upgrade to a lake view room which was stunning Na
Very nice stay, exelent staff and very helpfull. Familyhotel where you feel you are welcome.
The view overlooking the lake, however, disturbed by the heavy trafic just beneat the balcon. The showercabin to small.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good location. Fairly dated facilities, dull breakfasts
The hotel is situated between south and north of the lake, very close to every city. The south is just a but hectic therefore I have appreciated the fact that it was just outside the towns. If you have a car you can travel with no problems at all. Bed: we both are Italians but tall (183cm). My girlfriend and I found the bed short but comfortable. Room 111 in front of the lake.
The friendliest welcome at a hotel I've ever had, we spent the first few days of our honeymoon here and it was so good we came back unplanned on our last night too.
Friendly staff (local couple), excellent personal service. The atmosphere is more like a B&B than a hotel. Breakfast was very good, & the entire hotel was clean & well cared for. The desription leads one to believe that the hotel is right on the lake, but it is actually about a block away.
Very helpfull and friendly owners. Clean rooms, good breakfast. We would recommend the hotel to anyone who's looking for a small hotel at the beautiful Garda lake. It was very hot and the airconditioner was not able to cool down as much as we wanted. But this is a minor complaint.
Very helpful staff and interesting area to stay. Good day time public transport links, even out of season.
Very friendly, helpful owners who took pride in their hotel. Glass of prosecco on arrival - a nice touch. Close to the lakeside and the old part of a lovely town. The hotel fronts onto a busy road. Not a real problem but the rooms at the back, or at least the side, are preferable
The owner was very helpful. The fact we thought by the description that it was on the lake front and it was not. There are no food facilities at this hotel only snack food taken out of packets.
The location for Lake Garda was perfect with lake view from our balcony. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would certainly use this hotel on future visits.
We enjoy the sunset at the Garda Lake from the terrace. The suite is very confortable, amazing, special for a couple with or without sons. The breakfast is good, the restaurant has marvelous food and precious house's wine and all the staff are fantastic. The bathtub is large and clean. It is not easy to take a shower if you want to be standing up. You have to hand the sprinkler with one hand and soap with the other.
nice room with the view on the lake, good meals, good possibility of parking near the hotel No compleint
clean rooms with nice wiev on the lake, very good parking space possibilities, good meals There are no negative features
we stayed at the hotel out of the season so it was really qiuet and relaxing , just what we wanted, hotel staff were excellent no complaints, for 3 star hotel everything was excellent
the hostel has a fantastic view; the staff were helpful and speak English. Highly recommend the restaurant, specially menu of the day the room is a bit cold and shower is not hot enough.
The managment and staff were very helpful and pleasent, they were always prepared to answer my questions and gave good advice when asked.
The hotel staff was really friendly, nice and helpful. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful located in a small village, excellent for exploring the eastern shore of Lake Garda, Trento to the north and Verona. The restaurant have a nice old italian decor and the food was excellent. The room was nice with a mix of old style furniture and modern commodities. The bathroom was ok and well equipped but there was a bit of hair on the floor and some not so hidden corners (need some vacuum cleaning maybe?). Maybe they are not functioning at 100% (winter), didn't see other personel besides the kind couple working there.
The hotel was clean and correct, the restaurant was very good and the breakfast was good enough too, maybe a little bit wider choice on the buffet would have been appreciated.
Hotel right in front of the lake Some things weren't working properly: door to balcony, uneven bath (everytime we took a shower it got all flooded). There was no hairdryer. Bed wasn't comfortable. I would only recommend this hotel (or at least this room category) for 1 or 2 nights.
A staff speak english language rather well. Plus they provide all the necessary information about local places of interest, panoramic views, maps ect. Could be good to have an electrical plug reducer becauce they differ fom Eastern Europe. There was only one fitting in a bathroom.
We stayed in the suite and it has 2 floors and it's big . Air condition is enough . The pool is not bad . It was close to the lake . The breakfast was bad and they didn't let us sit in the air continioned part and we didn't understand the reason . The tennis cort is very useless and neglected . Also there are some dirt near the bed sheet . The towels looked like they are used and not cleaned before us . The garage is not big enough for the size of the hotel .
We picked hotel romeo as we wanted a central hotel by the lake which we could walk everywhere from. What a lovely hotel. We immediately got upgrades on two rooms and the ones with lake side views and balconies where gorgeous. Breakfast was great and the roof top pool amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed our two nights here and only wish it had been for longer. We'll be back! NO!
It was a good location with a car park. The town has limited parking and this was a big plus. Within walking distance to the harbour and restaurants.
Good service, nice room, wonderful pool, good breakfest, quite area.
Excellent, quiet location in village and also for touring Lake Garda area. Easy flat walk into village where there are many restaurants, cafes, bars and the beatiful lakeside.lLovely swimming pool and garden area.Staff were helpful and pleasant.Balcony overlooking the pool was very nice. Poor soundproofing in our room.
Very nice hotel. Good location. Room with kitchen very comfortable. Staff frendly.
Very friendly personal. Great view over the lake. Good place for excursions around the lake. No aircondition at the rooms
Very kind welcome with champagne for our Honeymoon celebrations. The final few hundred metres walk to the Residence was on the main road with no side path for safety. It's a very busy road.
Clean and spacious rooms in apartment. Friendly staff. Perfect location for Garda tours. Good private parking places with gate. Fully equipped kicthenette did not include oven. Dish washing tools and liquid soap missing, remember bring your own. All rooms advertised to have air conditioning, but not available in our room. Not so good view to the lake as apartment was on the corner of building.
The location near Torri del Benaco is good for touring the Lake Garda. The views from the balcony are amazing. The roof with terrace and swimming pool is great.
