Friendly and closeness to the town

The staff were very nice, friendly & helpfull which makes so much difference, we were even a bit late for breakfast on our last day and we were still able to have something. The room was very clean & the bed was wonderfull, would definatly reccomend it!

The central location and good value

The hotel is not a character hotel but a modern functional hotel which was our choice

The professional hotel staff with the right service attitude really stand out. Very nice and professional. We only have to mention our room number once in the breakfast room, the following three days the staff knew who we were. The champagne greeting was a nice surprise! To sum up - genuine hotel service! We are coming back!

A little difficult to find.

The room was very comfortable. The location is perfect for taking the flight from Trapani Birgi airport, around 10 minutes drive.

It is however quite far both from Trapani and Marsala, probably impossible to get there without having own car.

The central location

There is no place to have breakfast. You have to go in the cafeteria underneath the B&B where there is no seating.

We mostly liked the familiar atmosphere of the hotel. The staff was very helpful, English speaking. Breakfast was at the Hotel´s bar downstairs.

Breakfast was only one cappucino and croissant, nothing more...

It was a nice modern hotel with comfortable beds and nice clean bathroom.Staff were friendly and helpful.

We were disappointed with the food served in the restaurant.I gave a list of foods I am highly allergic to written in Italian nuts being one of these and my meal came out with pistacchio nuts sprinkled on it so I could not eat it.Food was expensive and highly average.

The staff was the most friendly and helpful of any service personnel we dealt with in 8 days in Sicily. Truly hospitable.

It's conveniently located near the Trapani airport, but if you don't have a rental car you'll have to take taxis to it and from it to the airport. Taxis are expensive.

The staff were extremely helpful and were fantastic helping me with my disabled husband.

Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Hotel is nice and new, roof terrace is very pleasant. Self catering facilities in room/apartment are excellent.

If you have the windows open it can be a little noisy at night because of traffic nearby.

Excellent location in old part of Trapani. Good size rooms, superbly equipped. Breakfast served in nearby restaurant. Building has great character. Helpful check in staff.

Despite booking no-smoking room, bedroom smelt of smoke. It was labelled non-smoking throughout the room, but clearly a previous guest had ignored the rule. This is a town centre location, so parking can be difficult, though on street parking is free at night.

The breakfast at Ai Lumi was lovely (I do like cakes), the terrace came in handy and the residence was centrally located.

My room was quite small and the others seemed much larger. Still, it was a "double for single occupancy" and was only €50 per night.

we enjoyed the original setting and contemporary fittings. The bicycle rides were the highlight, also the small boat that the hotel organized for circumnavigating the island was fantastic. The food was good, a bit more sophisticated than in town, but the local traditional is so good, why change it?

while very original, the sleek lines and quarry walls don't make a very cozy atmosphere, but it is still the best on offer on the island. If you don't speak italian, communicating with the hotel is difficult. I didn't appreciate the 5 euro/day charge for the bicycles, its not much but it was a surprise.
