10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, a few meters from an amazing trail (even better at sunrise!). The individual room was very nice a spacious, very clean with the bathroom. Many great tourism and hiking books were available in the living room :)
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place, we are so happy to have had the chance to stay here - it was a highlight of our holiday! Proximity to walking trails is perfect for a stay with small children.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This was a great option for budget travellers. We stayed in a double room with a shared bathroom. Everything was clean, there was info available on things to see and do (we went down to the pub quiz at the local brewery and ate delicious fish and chips from the nearby food van so thanks to the friendly staff for the recommendations) and most importantly it was located right by the Skerwink Trail. This is a backpackers so we didn't have - nor did we expect - a huge room and ensuite, but this was a comfy and friendly place to rest and be up bright and early for hiking.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Plenty of bathrooms, good equipment in kitchen, recycling, plenty of useful information about the area, warm and welcoming host, good communication.
Cons: To have a quieter room as ours had two bathrooms next door and you could hear toilets flushing and people in shower through the walls and it was at the top of the stairs so all noise from kitchen and below was heard.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Here's how it is: the Skerwink Hostel is a straight-up magical place. I've stayed in many hostels around the world and I think this was the cleanest, the friendliest, and the homiest. I often find it hard to socialize but Skerwink feels like your grandma's house and everyone gathers on the main floor to chat and eat together. I made new friends during my stay and I only wish I could have stayed longer. PLUS: it's close to a huge variety of breathtaking trails and some of the best whale-watching in Newfoundland!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The complimentary breakfast was great and had many options, the ear plugs were a nice touch in the dorm room too. The Skerwink Trail is a few minutes walk down the road and well worth it! It was a great home base to explore the peninsula and I felt at home during my stay.

Cons: Room was a bit small. Windows didn’t open and we like to be a little cold at night. Couldn’t control the temp. Other then that, place was fine! Bathroom was a bit dated but expected for a bnb.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast that was served was delicious and the menu was changed up each morning. The accommodation were clean and comfortable. The location was perfect.
Cons: My only suggestion would be to place a mirror somewhere convenient in the room so others can get ready when the bathroom is in use.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The house, the rooms and inside decoration are lovely. You should check in before getting dark otherwise it might be a bit difficult to locate the house.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This B&B was a lovely heritage home featuring a large and comfortable living room on the main floor with a window overlooking Trinity Bay. The included breakfast of French toast with real maple syrup and sausages was good, and was served in an attractive heritage dining room.
Cons: The mattress on the unusually high bed was too soft for our liking and the bedroom itself was very small and cramped, which even the proprietors acknowledged. But we nevertheless enjoyed our stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, the server very pleasant, the room was lovely, we found a place to eat we could walk to, explored the old church. It wad fine.
Cons: This is difficult to write because the host may not be aware of her impact and may think us spoiled Americans. The check in time was very tight for us (3-6pm) I wrote a few days before and the response was kind of clear, we should be able to make it. That morning we were at The Rooms in St Johns. We rushed through that great museum to get there on time. I would have liked more time. We hit some construction, were stopped for about 20-25 minutes, on a trip that usually take 3 hours, smashed lunch into our faces, emailed we might be a few minutes late but arrived at 5:55. I commented good naturedly & smiling, “We tried really hard to get here on time.” No smile. No thank you, (which would have meant a lot), just a stony look from the person who checked us in. Then I asked a question about the area. A stony ungracious answer, about walking was the best way. My thought is if you are dealing with people who have come a thousand miles to stay at your b&b, you could at least smile at their dumb questions.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful old heritage house. Use of living room, coffee and tea available
Cons: Could have been cleaner. Rooms were small and bathroom was tiny
10.0 Excellent
Pros: After booking the room I read negative reviews about the size of the room. I was very worried what we would find when we got there. Yes, it is small, but it was very charming, cozy and lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very attentive, breakfast was delicious and I would be unable to say anything negative.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was super helpful
Cons: There should be a landline phone in the house. The room should have been advertised as being incredibly tiny.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This was clearly a business operation and some staff were a bit uppity while others were lovely. I thought the price was excessive.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular location , wonderful people , incredible food
5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was great. We had an early start one morning and the staff accommodated us.
Cons: The rooms were dated, especially the bathroom. The décor of the common areas were not in keeping with the historic nature of the property. It looks like the property could use an update. The tub surround in our room needs to be replaced. We could clearly hear the guests in the room above us move around.
Vicarage Suites - Trinity - Building

8.3 Excellent (7 reviews)
7.5 Good
Pros: The bed, was great! The view was charming, nice bathroom, nice staff, okay breakfast - in an other building - and the fact, that we got 2 rooms. :) Charming village, charming building too.
Cons: The house was kind of deserted. We didn't expect that we should check in, nor dine, in an other building (it was a nice building, not far away). The heatregulator was dificult to find, so the first hours was like a sauna - and it is impossible to open any window, which made us uncomfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The suite was definitely one of the best we’ve stayed in - we think however that the parts of the building outside the suite need some work, to the extent that it “put us off “ the place. That’s why it was such a pleasant surprise when we went into the suite !(intentional ?!)
Cons: Having to go elsewhere to register.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was walking distance to everything. The breakfast was incredible we had partridgeberry pancakes and sausage one morning and scrambled eggs and bacon the next. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond. Thanks Norma !!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: the suite was very private and large rooms. We love the location and setting. Restaurant was great! Recommend to our friends to visit NL and Trinity
Cons: check in was a bit confusing as our GPS took us to address but not the lobby. A sign on front of unit would be helpful

Pros: Lovely old home. There was lots of room to spread out. Once we figured out the location it was close to Trinity and other beautiful places. A short walk down the road took us to ocean views.
Cons: We had trouble finding the place. Better directions are needed. The rooms are quite small..but very clean and each had its own bathroom.
