Pros: For being a smaller/older style room it had mirrors everywhere and plug-in outlets galore! Clean room and bathroom! (my mother is a cleaning nazi so if I say it's clean, trust me, it was clean). I came in late off the road, solo, (25 year old female) and had a great night's rest in the comfy queen bed. Air conditioning allowed me to chose my preferred setting (cool on high and full blast). Curtains were great black out ones so I was able to enjoy a cool dark room and slept in till almost 10 am!? I had plenty of room to get ready, do my hair and make up in the morning before I hit the road again. Didn't make it up in time for breakfast because it ended at 9 am but that was my fault. Great friendly staff. No check out required, just leave your keys in the room and take off. Complimentary bottles of water in the room as well as a fridge and microwave (which I never used, but still). GREAT place for the low price! I admit, I was skeptical! But when I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised! Oh, and there's a sonic next door for those late risers like me who didn't get free breakfast.
Cons: Breakfast ending at 9, instead of maybe like say 10. haha but that's bc I'm a 20 something girl and love to sleep in.
Pros: Easy access
Cons: Rooms are small. I wish the hotel would give shampoo in bottles. The little packet just isn't enough shampoo for women with shoulder length or longer hair.
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Beds were too firm.
Pros: good rate and close to I-40
Cons: loud heater, female-friendly toilet seat, indoor pool open only from 1300 to 2100
Pros: Very clean well maintained property that has had some obvious upgrades. Ownership here obviously takes pride in this property.
Cons: Be careful when you book a queen. As this property actually has a single bed queen room which is unusual, as queen usually means a room two beds.
Cons: Bath room needed some updating. Was grungy around floor trim area wallpaper peeling
Cons: The bed was way to high not easy to get into
Cons: Our hotel room was dirty and dusty. The bathroom was not even something I wanted to step foot in. Mold on the walls and hair stuck to floor and light abov mirrror. Paint or something gross splatter on bathroom walls and the tile and floor trim was a mess.
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, they went over and beyond. It was bad weather, they went to the kitchen and brought us breakfast food at midnight!
Cons: The bathroom need some maintenance. Flooring (tile) was in need of re-grouting and the shower faucet was continually drippings.
Pros: Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the cleanliness!!!
Pros: Pool was clean, rooms were large, staff friendly.....and a Keurig in the room- totally awesome!
Cons: A little bit cheaper per night.
Pros: Free waffles at night all through August and the breakfast was really great. Loved the pool and hot tub.
Cons: Didn't like the soap left in the shower from the previous occupant.
Cons: The rude unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Complaints were made. Will NEVER stop in Tucumcari ever again.
Pros: Great breakfast.
Cons: More luggage carts would be nice.
Pros: Cleanliness and friendliness of staff.
Not much to do in the town. Staff couldn't recommend much in town to do.
Pros: Great breakfast , friendly staff

Pros: Pet friendliness, nice hotel in great location. Also nice continental breakfast
Cons: Urine smell remained in room from previous pet guest(s).
Pros: Convenient and clean. Rooms are ok, we just had an overnight so it wasn't bad but an extended stay at this $ rate would lower my rating.
Pros: The hotel was neat and clean with a nice breakfast area.
Cons: Dogs barking at all hours
Pros: The hotel was very clean. The rooms were very clean and roomy.
Pros: super nice people tell me a room on the first floor like I wanted the pool hot tub and all the floors were clean breakfast was amazing
Pros: Everything was very clean , the breakfast was good . the pool and hot tub were great as well
Cons: We were pulling a u-haul trailor behind a 15 passenger van and it was hard to find a place to park it. There were a few spaces for that but too many big trucks had already filled up the space.
Pros: Location and amenities.
Cons: Smoke alarm beeped and no one on call to fix so had to switch room on last day.
Shower drain was not too spectacular -- but let it go because everything else was so perfect.
Pros: The cleanliness and arrangement (spaciousness) of the room
Cons: Somewhat surely check-in staff
Pros: The staff was very friendly. And the room was comfy.
Cons: Big dogs barking early in te morning...in guest room area.
I liked that we had two queen beds in our room. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was the best I had ever had at a hotel and the attendent was very helpful.

Cons: Great breakfast but scrambled eggs were not good
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is older, it was clean and safe.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.
Cons: The rooms facing the south toward the courtyard allowed too much sun. The curtains were inadequate to block out the light in the morning.
Pros: Breakfast good
Cons: Got stuck with a king room for a family of four...only room available. Pet room. Damp carpet all over from what I hope was a cleaning. Staff was rude. Sneezed on my drivers license. Had a mini Yorkshire terrier running around lobby.
Pros: Access to interstate 40.The staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: It is a bit dated in it's furnishings.
Pros: Cheap, clean, and very friendly hotel staff!
Pros: The attached restaurant was very good!
Cons: Would be nice if the rooms were more updated.
Pros: PRICE AND LOCATION
Cons: HOTEL IS DATED
Pros: Excellent efficient staff
Cons: Kind of far from center of town. Not close to other amenitiied
Pros: This was an excellent location
Cons: There was no way on earth that this was a 2.5 star hotel. This hotel was 1.5 stars compared to the other two. Five star hotels in the area. This hotel is nothing like a holiday in express, Hampton Inn or other related properties. No elevator.
Pros: At the check in front desk person Will was very helpful BUT you can not do much when the hotel is old and it's in needs to update. The compmantry brakfest was good

Pros: The only complaint I had was that the wifi was not free but I simply logged on to the free wifi from the motel next door. I left something in my room and called to ask if they would look for it. They did and said they would keep it until I came back the next time... they would not send it to me. Because it would be a full year before coming back through Tucumcari I made arrangments to send them a self addressed stamped mailer and they agreed to mail it to me. Thanks Michelle!
Pros: I wanted a quiet, clean room in a safe location for a one-night stay during my trip from Arizona to Minnesota. I got all three (quiet, clean, and safe) plus a recently remodeled room that was very functional and color coordinated. Towels, while on the smaller side, were clean and fluffy; bed linen was clean and not thread-worn. Two pillows--one soft and one firm. Bed was on the firm side, which I liked. Shower (not a tub) was hot and water pressure good. Heater unit was in the ceiling and exceptionally quiet and it put out a lot of heat. Didn't purchase WiFi. Didn't interact with staff other than checking in, which was quick and efficient. Parking lot had good lighting after dark. Morning coffee good and hot. I rated this hotel high because at a very low room rate I was expecting a similarly low-quality room. If in the area, I will return to this hotel.
Cons: A couple of items to note for future travelers. My room had only soap not shampoo or conditioner. (I didn't care--too tired and I'm bald.) No Kleenex dispenser--I used toilet paper to blow nose. (I thought this was somewhat odd.) There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room--I had a single king bed in a small room so it may have been a space problem to put the micro and fridge in room. (I think there was an ice machine in the lobby, but didn't specifically go looking for it.) TV was tube-type, but the picture and cable channel election was good. The room door needed a firm pull to close--I didn't want to slam it and it wasn't latching properly--pulling door a little harder fixed the problem. Outside of hotel a little worn and frankly a little depressing at first site--but I was glad the hotel invested the money on the room.
Pros: If you've stayed in motels in the 80's and want a trip down memory lane, this is the motel for you.
Cons: The room looks like it hasn't been redecorated in 30 years. The bathroom is smaller than the picture makes it look. The bed looked like it was bought on discount at the salvation army. For the money this place sucks. Just down the street at Super 8 they give you wifi and free continental breakfast.
Pros: The price was great.
Cons: The cable didn't work. Some channels did. Some didn't. Also there were bugs in the room. Not a lot of them but any is too much. There was not a bathtub either. Just a stand up shower.

Pros: Proximity to I-40. Rooms pretty clean. Everything worked (tv, heater, water, etc)
Cons: Upstairs smelled of cigarette smoke. Room had no odor but the upstairs half of the hotel smelled heavily like cigarette smoke.
Pros: It was a place to sleep but not comfortably.
Cons: Sheets had stains, bed was uncomfortable and pillows were awful, sink area was covered in something sticky, breakfast was free but don't expect too much. Paid way to much for how little we got.
Pros: Had room to park a large vehicle
Cons: The room smelled like cigarettes even though it was nonsmoking. Breakfast options were limited and not that good. Pillows were very uncomfortable.
Pros: I booked the wrong date through a booking site due to wi-fi connections but the staff honored the rate I'd booked, allowed the Web price & special requests, & recontacted the Web site for me so I wouldn't get charged again for another night. And smiled! Older hotel but clean, well stocked, no lingering oders & everything in working order. Great stay. Great price. Good rest.
