Location, staff friendliness
Friendly staff an for Italy they offer a satisfiable breakfast Coffee at breakfast for Italy pretty worse
The friendly helpful staff and the position so close to the railway station.
The hotel was very convenient for Turin's Porta Susa station which was directly opposite. We had a large room and once we had asked for softer pillows it was comfortable and quiet. Although old fashioned this hotel was very good value for money and the breakfast was excellent.
Hotel staff is really kind and they helped me a lot. Spacious room, very clean bathrooms and very central location (just 1 min walk from Porta Susa station where there is the stop of airport bus lines also. I definitely suggest this hotel.
Hotel located very close to the airport bus route. Pleasant staff. Rooms clean and well maintained. Not a very central location. No tea/coffee making facility provided.
Excellent location, fair price / quality ratio
Space, bathroom No internet in the room
Location Everything was OK.
The fact that I could have my dog with me in my room. The breakfast was mediocre.
Near Porta Susa Train Station Clean room Good breakfast Helpful, friendly staff Bed/pillows not so comfortable Slight smell in room Older decor Tiny shower
I have been upgraded in a suite. Excellent. Lobby unpersonal and not welcoming
room The recommendation for a local restaurant - it was terrible
The quite unique realized dream of an art déco-hotel, with all details in excellent function and fashion.
We preferred this hotel over competition because of the indoor pool, which unfortunately was closed.
Exceptinally central and very good service
That you do feel welcome from all of the staff especially those in the bar.
Location - excellent; price for 3 nights excellent (third of what is quoted as usual price per night); quiet; wonderful view of Torino from 6th floor room; luxury room with excellent en-suite and service was excellent with many excellent nibbles with tea and bar.
we enjoy there because of our best locaton . it"s restaurant was cusy and the food was delicious with nice design .
Great location! Found a great price for my stay for business. Would stay here every time Im in Turin.
It has the best location in Turin, i had amazing time with friends I think it was the best experience for me in Italy. I was surprised by the Italian law of iron, i was shocked when the receptionist told me that I can't have an iron because it was by the law plus I wasn't informed earlier about it.
Located in excellent point, high quality rooms, very comfortable During breakfast there is no tea on the self service table, the waiters are not asking what do we need
right in Porta Nuova and easy access to most of the highlights of Turin I mistakenly chose to have the room with 2 beds, and they were really tiny beds. What I needed was one reasonably sized bed because I was by myself.
I was unhappy with the room, however the girls at the desk say it is the most asked for room. Too small and close for me. Breakfast was good and the location could not have been better. The staff were able to book be and extra night without too much fuss.
Excellent quality and location for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast adequate. The BBC News 24 channel was on the blink and the bread rolls on the Sunday had seen better days.
If you only want to sleep this hotel is a perfect choice.
the location but the excellent service, from the breakfast buffet as well as spotless room and the tiny service of soaps, liquid, bar fridge and towels. furthermore the staff is always so attentive and helpful.
The hotel is clean and near rail station and good breakfast. We are very glad of our staying in this hotel.
Very good location to the main Turin railway station, airport bus stop, city buses and trams. Room was very clean, breakfast really good, staff friendly
Very good location, tasty breakfasts, friendly staff. For this value of money the hotel is good.
Price, staff, bar, proximity to train station. Wireless internet was not free.
The garage Hospitality and Reception staff
Proximity to my meeting place 1) The room was smelling bad. 2) When I asked if the room had internet connection the answer was YES and no further information about how was given ... Thus I had to go upstairs to find out that I had to buy a special card and then come down again to buy one ...
the staff was great, and so were the rooms we chose the hotel because we thought it was in walking distance from downtown. In reality it was not as we arrived at a different train station. But it worked out pretty well as there is a bus just in front of the hotel and we were downtown in a matter of minutes. The people at the hotel were just great!
taxis in front of the hotel
the breakfast and size of room the noice on the street during the night
The hotel is very convenience with bus/tram stop in front of hotel lobby and metro station Vinzaglio is right in the corner of the block (50m away). Good breakfast with 5 different flavors of fresh baked croissant. Free lobby WiFi (It's 30min per section. You can ask for multiple section). - The lobby entrance steps were not easy for people traveling with large or heavy luggage. Especially just went through Airport Express->DoraFly->metro with show display stuff in my luggage. - Phone inside the room doesn't have notes/signs about how to dial between rooms nor international calls. - Bathtub drain problem was really bad
Good value for a weekend break for quality hotel. Secure parking good breakfast buffet. Whilst close to Metro only takes you to train station which is still a 15 minute walk to centre. Parking expensive a t 22 euros a night. Too far to walk to town and then explore. Noisy from traffic as on main street.
The quality and location of the hotel Because I mistakenly thought I had paid for the hotel in advance, the female receptionist made me feel like I was refusing to pay the bill.
Friendly and helpfull staff. Excellent Restaurant
Some "non-smoking" rooms are used by smokers. The hotel staff appeared to be unaware of this
Rooms are quite spatious, as well as the bathroom, parking comfortably located TV is quite old
the young lady at the reception on saturday morning was exquisite - her manners and communication skills should make your hotel proud - you are very lucky of having her with you
great Hotel in a great location with an extremely professional and friendly staff
Nice historical building, beautifully redesigned
It's at the Lingotto!!! Chocolates in the room as it was our honeymoon. Reception staff excellent. Not a hotel for holidays more set up for business users.
Being able to walk on the roof and actually be in the Fiat Factory Parking, access from car park to hotel with heavy bags was poor.
The room was huge but too warm. We had to open the windows to cool the place down. We only booked because of the use of the building for the Italian Job film. Didn't realise the location was a fair walk to the Piazza's. No reference to the film in the hotel reception or any of the literature in the room. We did ask for access to the roof and this was not a problem.
Well decorated,good breakfast,helpful staff...
Style and service lack of restaurant options and no leisure facilities
The location and its proximity to Porta Susa is particularly important for train travellers. Via Cernaia, where it is located, is one of Torino's many colonnaded streets which is very useful when the weather is inclement, or even when it is very sunny, and is close to many cafés and restaurants. The weather, but the hotel cannot be responsible for that and its location mitigated the situation.
Polite manner to guests no room internet connections, poor delivery of messages
Good location No iron available, lifts wereonly big enough for 2 people with little luggage. Bathroom was tiny, were told on arrival that restaurant closed at 11.30, when we went to order at 11.10 we were told it was closed.
comfort of hotel,buffet free
Clean, Fiendly staff and central location.
Location and value for money.
Very Central, next to trainb station and subway. Clean, Nice Staff, Would Stay Again
Location Not four star level. No soul
The hotel is really well located. I was able to do early check-in at 11 a.m. There is free of charge mineral water in the minibar. For early leavers (before the breakfast starts) they offer coffee and snacks in the bar next to the lobby. The climate control in the room was extremely loud. I went to breakfast room some 20 min before the end time and notices that they just removed the empty plates instead of filling up them with additional food.
Conveniently located hotel with everything you need - including free WiFi.
The location in the city center of Torino.Breakfast was good. Cleanliness was bad, especially the dust on the walls.Staff was too noisy when they started closing the breakfast room at 10 am. Price of the room 125€ is a little bit expensive regarding the offer.
Close location to the city centre, good breakfast and silence in the room.
good location with ease acess to many attraction areas no available bussiness office and no internet facility outside the room
We had a brilliant stay at the hotel really pleased with the room and the location was brilliant, the balcony was a added bonus where we sat in evenings to watch the world go by. Breakfast was excellent with loads to choose from.
the proximity of the hotel to the train station - it was important for me to get to the station as soon as i could in the morning, so this was very beneficial. There were hardly many advertisements on locals for medium priced to higher priced restaurants & pubs.
comfort/ budgets; regular breakfast/ perfect location for our main. no problems
Convenient location near the main train station in (Torino Porta Nuova) and on the edge of main city shopping and museum district Energetic staff willing to help Nice views from top floor rooms One staff member was new to the hotel and gave a number of wrong information details which caused us some issues, but she worked hard to correct the issues once discovered. Wireless internet was slow and disconnected frequently Have to put door keycard in slot once in room to turn on all all power and heating/cooling, so room was quite hot after returning from a day out and took quite a while to cool once returned - no way to have the AC on enough to keep it from getting super hot w/o leaving a key card in it all day long. Also unable to charge electronics when not there *everything turns off*. This was common in many rooms we used in Switzerland and Italy
I appreciated the friendly staff, good breakfast and great location. I was disappointed in the very expensive internet facilities and would recommend the hotelgroup to change this because it is a unnecessary negative.
Good location. Friendly staff
very spacious rooms, huge bed, comfy robes and slippers. great location close to shops and major piazzas
Comfort and peace
The breakfast The parking was a nightmare, I own an expensive Maserati and was told by the reception that the only parking they could offer was any one of three independant garages who pack in as many cars as they can. Not in the least reasurring when then person running the garage says ' give us your keys and I'll try and squeeze it in later'
The hotel is in the centre of Torino, just opposit Puerta Nouva. The bed was fantastic, you have the possibility to choose between different pillows.Bathroom was quite big. The room I stayed at need renovation (carpet).
For our purposes the hotel was perfect. We enjoyed our stay and felt like honored guests. Nothing. Everything was fine.
nice location and value for money
Great staff and fitness room open 24 hours a day furnitures a little bit old
Kindness of staff, location just in front of central station. Breakfast was poor, not enough sweet cakes.
Good service and excellent buffet breajfast
I was upgraded to a better room for free. Room was too cold.
i liked the proximity to the station. The buffet breakfast was excellent and i liked the fact that i saw a well known australian football coach having breakfast one morning. The hotel needs renovation on the inside as everything is worn out and lets a beautiful hotel down. Coffee making facilities would have been nice.
Convenience - ideally located
excellent location, the presence of a hammam bath, good breakfast I would like to get a better cleaning the bathroom
Quite new hotel, very confortable rooms, and nice taste. Service staff very pleasant.
The colours and total design of hall/stairs is really nice, easy to climb and enjoy ! Breakfast tasty and varied. One doesn't need a new toothbrush every day. Difficult to get temperature in room below 22 C.
interior design, staff service, hammam service
This is a very attractive, modern hotel with comfortable, well-equipped rooms and helpful staff. The location is only minutes from the city centre, the palaces and the shopping areas. The hotel has its own high-security section in the underground carpark next door. Although the staff were very helpful, we got the impression that they were under a certain amount of pressure at times. Two of the lights in our room were not working and, despite reporting this on the first day, the problem was not dealt with
Hotel position is a big plus. It is in the historical centre of Torino , but very quite.
situation, room was quiet atmosphere
excellent quality of bedding, nice spacious room, functional design, very good location, superb architecture
location, facilities, ambiance the hotel staff were very poorly trained for a hotel of that quality
clean, city center, size of the room, breakfast, design, facilities, very good service. I got an upgrade for a small suit.
Friendly and generally helpful staff
Room is as described. Very comfortable and hotel very well located. Staff was friendly and helpfull
very central and modern the architectural design and the colours are "peculiar" - all very dark... remembers the movie "Shining", just the child with the bicycle missing...quite expensive in general
The breakfast was excellent, especially as compared to the Italian hotel 'standards'
big room in modern style, mostly indifferent staf, good location, nice spa
Friendliness of Bar staff, Spa area, late checkout We had to move room at 1am as the heating control was not working at the room was much too hot
The Golden Palace was beyond our wildest expectations, its a beutiful hotel with the very best of facilities and the staff cound not be more helpful and kind. We have traveled widly and found that the Golden Palace is one of the very best Hotels we have ever stayed in. We canot recommend this hotel highly enough.
Good staff, pleasant room and bathroom, generally well-run. There is some very bad art.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Golden Palace, the room was fantastic!!!!! I was disapointed that the pool was shut during summer time for maintenance, bit ridiculous during hot season
It's modern and clean and maintains a high standard Not really
The Room Ceiling Height I am frustrated still waiting for your hotel to unblock my credit card!!! Please help!!!!
The staff was helpful, though usually late when you ask for something. To be honest, they try their best, but it is not always enough. I booked a delux room. However, when I got there, they said that all rooms are delux and the same. The room is really bad and the design is awful. Walls are white and you can see black stains here and there
the design of the hall and dining room is super. Jogging on the roof of FIAT fantastic
MRI Course They do not provide Iron.
Yes,for three days the aircondition unit in the room was not working.it was jammed at 27.3 degree. Despite the calls to the reception. The general manager was supposed to sent me an opology note and some sort of compensation yesterday 28 sept.i ask you to follow up this note..
Hotel staff, Architectural design
The breakfast in the morning, the help at the front desk. At ties the music in the dinning area was too loud.
Large comfortable room with good food.
breakfast and staff friendliness The price of the room was high
Very courteous staff. A few of them spoke English and those who did not tried to be responsive as possible Better restaurant hours. I only had breakfast there the restaurant was closed often. Comfort- the rooms were very cold and the heat did not adjust. The bathroom was warm. (smile)
Location. No bars open.
The people in the reception, were so helpful, kind and friendly.... The short walk to the city center was max 15 min... for us no problem, The parking was super if you have a car that is packed and do not want to take everything with you.
good location, nice staff, clean room, good breakfast, very quiet. A supermarket very close for different necesities. We would like to have restaurant for the lunch.
Nice and comfortable rooms. Great bathroom and mattresses. Includes parking place. Not close to city center, but taxi reacheable for 8 euros.
Internet connection for 14E total for the whole stay up to 15 days. Nice secured underground parking, however additional fee 10E per night. There's a food shop next to the hotel. There is an open terrace for breakfast, if weather is OK. Generally nice hotel for reasonable price, as for Italy. The location is not very good for sightseeing.
Helpful hotel staff, safe and comfortable garage, good service, clean rooms. Location is not the best but fair close to the center
The hotel is very comfortable. Its location made it possible for us to walk all around the central part of the city - we did not use the transport at all! The room was very comfortable, modern and really made us feel at home. The staff was professional and friendly, we received all the help we asked for. We have just completed our vacation in Italy, and this was undoubtedly one of the best hotels we stayed in. It is also rather inexpensive, especially compared with the hotels in the lakes' region, that are, from our experience, much less comfortable and significantly more expensive. We enjoyed this hotel greatly and were really sorry to leave.
The hotel is close to the downtown, quite enough, clean and it's easy to park the car Expensive extras
Helpful & friendly staff Bvlgari bath products not for bookings made via booking.com. Lack of privacy: one big table in stead of separate tables in the breakfast room; Big window in the bathroom with Venetian blinds (not closing well) looking out on a courtyard – the other apartments around the courtyard can most likely see the bathroom…
GREAT LOCATION! beautiful room. quiet, clean, big! the ugliest doors I have seen in a hotel! and weird lobby layout/decor + sometimes "family style" service but courteous and responsive. not practical if you have a car. strange layout of breakfast room leaves everyone sitting tightly around a huge table.
the central possition of the hotel
The location and breakfast. One girl at the front desk was very rude when we first arrived. We had been walking for hours in the rain with our loaded backpacks and just wanted to check in and lie down. I couldn't believe the attitude we got. Luckily, we didn't see her for the rest of our time there.
personal touch, location and ambience
Nicely designed and big room. Breakfast was rich in variety and well prepared. The spot is perfect since it is on the city center.
the location in the historic part of the city , the design of the rooms and lobby . the lack of service , parking far from the hotel . nobody to help you with luggage or to park the car .
Excellent location, nice decor. Breakfast could have been better.
The location of the hotel is ideal for those who need to stay close to all city's amenities and main centers of business I found the single room somehow poor in terms of comfort and quality of the furniture, especially considering the price paid for its rent
comfort of rooms, central position of hotel
Very large comfortable room, excellent facilities, more 5 star than 4 star.
The free breakfast was terrific and featured gluten free bread and pastry. The bed was comfortable and the price was right.
comfortable and warm room. The bed was a bit hard
It is a great hotel with a perfect location central in Turin. The breakfast is very nice. So was the room with a comfy bed that had a duvet and not only blankets. I had booked a single room but they upgraded me to a delux double room free of charge. There was only few non-italian tv stations and they were all either sports- or news channels.
The hotel was in a very handy location to the shops, cafe's & restaurants, they were all within walking distance of the hotel. Also the room was very nicely furnished and clean and the internet was very easy to access in the room.
Lovely hotel, very clean with large rooms, staff excellent air con not too good and hot/warm water not in much suply
friendly reception staff, nice room, large selection at breakfast The bathroom was a bit old and not as nice as the room. It would have been nice to have a make-up mirror in the bathroom. Also the door knob on the bathroom door was different than any I've ever seen. If you close the bathroom door, you cannot open it without pushing a button on the door knob even if it's not locked! I spent 15 minutes in the bathroom trying to figure out how to get out. I should have told the reception, but I forgot about it. It would be a good idea to have a sign on the inside of the door. The breakfast was very nice but the room was very small. The staff is trained to clear the tables immediately because the room is so small and when we got up to get more food our table was cleared and almost given to someone else.
Beds Nastiest people I have ever met and the internet in the room was slower that dial up. I had to go into the hallway
The hotel was well placed for the train and for the airport bus. We were given a room at the back of the hotel as I had requested a quiet room, unfortunately people were very noisy returning late to other rooms so The room was stuffy and there was no air conditioning., The misleading photograph of the front of the hotel gives the impression that it stands back from the road whereas there is a very busy road immediately outside.
the location and the staff
Pretty good breakfast, good location, fairly spacious room The minibar had only water in it, so you had to get your beer at reception. A bit more decoration in the room would have been nice.
It's location and the had bicycles you could use to get around town I like softer matresses
It was very convenient as it was close to the train station that connects to other major cities in Italy. Also very close to the tram that runs through the city. no frills hotel -- simple, basic and clean.
Common spaces of your hotel were quite good. Collidor, elevator, breakfast room, lobby were good. The location was excellent. The spring of the single bed was old and tilted. I have chosen non-smoking room. But Ashtray was in the balcony. It was bad!
Excellent location, comfort room was worth the extra money, good breakfast buffet, comfortable bed
Location is extremely convinient , rooms are well designed The Rooms are not Up to Date for a Business Traveller, no furthjer Information Booklets or yellow pages are available
Very friendly staff, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast! Fantastic value for money! Although we asked for a parking space, there was none available when we arrived.
Particularly the proximity to the Porta Nuova train station as well as being in the city centre.
The location of the hotel was very central. Although a little confusing in finding the hotel, once inside the staff were very welcoming. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor of the building with access by either the stair well or a small lift.
Staff was pleasant and helpful. Daily breakfast was always fresh and plentiful. Great location with easy access to transportation. The bathroom was dated and very small. The shower was tiny.
It is conveniently located, the room was relatively large, clean and pleasant. Staff is helpful and breakfast is OK. The shower is too small to be convenient. The room is overlooking a street with night bar below, which is noisy through the night. However the double glasing in the room was keeping the noise down.
Excellent breakfast with real coffee, pleasant helpful staff
Very helpful staff and very clean rooms. The hotrel was renovated recently and it is an excellent value for your money. It is very centrally located in Torino, so very handy ro walk around .
I left the hotel Alpi after two nights because I did not like the location - as a single woman travelling alone I was not comfortable. I also did not like the fact that the hotel was on the third floor of what appeared to be an apartment building. Very scary a night. The rooms were clean tho. See above.
The location was perfect to be able to walk to most stuff, the staff were very helpful and the rooms very clean and relaxing.
Great location. Very nice, quiet room. Friendly and helpful staff.
Location and helpful friendly staff. The lift.
Good location, convenient and very clean room, helpful staff, reasonable breakfast.
Location is convenient for my business contact and close to restaurants and shops
The metro to the city centre was directly opposite the hotel. The view of the Alps from the room was amazing! Good breakfast selection. Lots of parking for cars. Modern room and bathroom design. Overall a great hotel, and would definitely stay there again. The aircon in the room did not work.
business nature food, gym
Location was good for our trip. Rooms were of a high quality. Poor facilities, no cold beer in the bar and no coffee at breakfast! I think the hotel had just re-opened after a re-fit but if they were open for business I would expect the basics to be provided. Some of our party ordered breakfast in the room and it never arrived. Hopefully they will improve.
Good ambience, comfortable rooms and nice location.
Close to the underground and convenient for places of my interest. The reception and its staff.
good breakfast but it was extra, great parking
Easy to find and close to Airport Lounge is a little too small and no atmosphere
tutto perfetto! value for money
