Pros. The location of the hotel was perfect. Not in the extremely busy village. it was close to various restaurants that were not overcrowded. The staff was extremely friendly.
Cons. The fact that we were placed in a room immediately across from the elevator, next to the laundry room and overlooking the air conditioning units may have colored my experience. That said, I would have expected the bare minimum of a nice hotel. The toilet didn't always flush. The food in the expensive restaurant was not good. Even the bath towels were frayed and worn. Hand towels, wash clothes and a bath mat were not supplied. Coffee not supplied. I suppose understandable during Covid, but every other hotel we stayed in during our visit to Arizona provided coffee in the room. No wine opener and/or bottle opener in room, we had to take our drinks down to the restaurant to get them opened. Seems easy enough to disinfect a small coffee machine and a wine opener. It was a clean hotel and the location was extremely convenient, but I would have expected better for a hotel of this caliber.
Pros. Better service from the staffs
Cons. We could not stay at this hotel due to roads being closed and no unnessary travel due to the winter storm warning and the snow totals. It was not safe to travel with our young kids. I was hoping to get our money refunded (151.00) due to having to cancel our reservation due to circumstances that were out of our control (weather) we traveled from New York and were so sad to have to cancel our trip to the Grand Canyon :-(
Pros. good value, clean, free wifi, free fridge and microwave. pool is nice and hottub. breakfast Buffet is nice and convenient also.
Cons. still a 30 minute drive to the canyon from here.
Cons. Bad! No water to take a shower after hiking all day at the Grand Canyon!
Pros. shampoo and conditioner was nice.
Cons. Got bed bugs in one of the rooms. Also, the toilet lever was broken, but was still usable.
Pros. The hotel was great! It was very close to the Grand Canyon. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions about the park. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly.
Pros. Rooms were very clean and modern. Great price point.
Cons. No food after 10 at night.
Pros. Hotel Staff was very helpful and considerate
Cons. Hotel.com was terrible...messed up both my reservations.
Pros. The hotel was nice, clean, and provided a good experience for our family. The lobby decor was nice and gave you a fancy feel and my son loves all of the animal heads.
Cons. What we did not like was the restaurant and bar at the hotel. The restaurant was mediocre at best from the food to the service. The waif for just the meal was about an hour. The staff did not pay attention very well. We went to the restaurant and the wait was about an hour and a half and there were a lot of empty tables I counted at least 7 or more. Then when our drink order was taken the waiter only took one drink order and left. When he came back we finally got to order our other two drinks. Also we asked for straws and the waitress came back with one straw when they delivered 3 drinks. When we ordered our food three of us ordered meals but only one meal came out. We wanted to ask the waitstaff where the rest of our food was but they never came to check on us. Finally after waiting for another 30 minutes we decided to close out our tab. I had to got to the bar to get some service and the waiter just handed me the bill without saying a word or asking any questions, or even explaining what happened to the rest of our food order. To put us kindly I will joy be visiting the restaurant there again.
