Fantastic property with loads of history. Very well appointed. Lovely staff.
David and Mitzi were wonderful hosts. We were warmly greeted by David when we arrived. We enjoyed their stories, getting to know them and listening to the history of this property. The property is tucked away in the mountains. The grounds are charming with interesting touches. A spring fed mountain stream runs through the property, the sound of the running water was very peaceful and relaxing. The cabin we stayed in was beautifully decorated with antiques making it a very quaint place to stay. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. David and Mitzi were very friendly, attentive, and served a delicious breakfast, warm cereal, eggs, bacon, waffles and fresh fruit from their gardens. We would love to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet out of the way place to stay. We feel finding David and Mitzi’s place was a special added adventure to our trip. It made for a wonderful memory..
There was nothing about this property that I felt was a disappointment or would change.
Delicious homemade breakfast, I regret not asking for the plum tart recipe! The Inn is a welcome respite from freeway chain hotels, well worth the 20 minute drive through a gorgeous valley. I felt lucky to have found it and plan to return on next trip across Nevada.
I wish I could have stayed longer.
Being away from it all. Space for ourself. Ample breakfast. Friendly, helpful hosts.
Toilet dirty. Didn’t look like it was cleaned from prior guest.
Would love to of had a small refrigerator. We paid the same price as everyone else but we did not have a kitchen.
