Pros: Quaint historic hotel, wonderfully decorated, walking distance to great restaurants and bars and comedy club.
Pros: Exceptional hospitality and great location with amenities

Pros: Small motel like resort. Beautiful siesta beach steps from your room. Very clean, updated and accommodating place.
Cons: No negative comments at all
Pros: The facilities were immaculate, very nice beach area and pool...We loved the quieter location south of the village, very intimate with plenty of nearby convenience. We would absolutely stay there again...
Cons: Turns out our room was the smallest, it had all we needed but not a sitting area...
Pros: Wonderful. Will return.
Pros: Location was convenient to local restaurants and sports rentals
Cons: Our first room had a very pungent odor. The were very accommodating and gave us a better room. However the bed in that room was old and not very comfortable.
Pros: It was beautiful and the staff was great
Cons: It's far from the main business district and was a bit expensive for a place with no view or restataurant bar of its own the check out is very early
Pros: This resort has a small family resort feel about it. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The private beach is nice too.
Cons: The walk to the beach was a little long.
Cons: Hated the 10am check out!!
Pros: Location can not be beat: proximity to food & drink, and the gorgeous beach is just a walk across the compound. Nice decorations for Christmas, too. Liked the kitchen. Desk staff was helpful.
Cons: Bed was UNCOMFORTABLE. Too much furniture for the room size. Check-in clerk had dirty fingernails. Although the room looked recently updated, it's with the cheapest finishes. Broken tile in the bathroom.
Pros: Room comfortable and clean. Short walk to private beach. Stayed 3 nights room not cleaned one night. Short walk to some restaurants. Pools convenient to room and heated. Wish they had room with a view of the water.
Pros: Really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and nice. Grounds are beautiful, pool was heated, beach is beautiful. Room was fully equiped, really nice linens, well stocked kitchen, nice size refrigerator. Cleaning staff cleaned room promptly and completely. Check in staff very friendly. Walking distance to grocery, drug store, and resturants. Booking through Kayak was a breeze and price was resonable. Would definatly stay there again.
Pros: On beach side of street, so very short walk to beach.

Pros: The pool and beach facility at Lido is perfect
Pros: Staff is excellent. Very nice hotel.
Pros: I liked the amenities and the location of the Resort.
Cons: The beds sucked.. I stay in 4 and 5 star hotels only and for a Ritz the beds sucked, the sheets were not soft... and I always forget that the rate is inexpensive because they charge you mandatory resort fees per night at check out. Needless to say valet is $24 per day. I feel like I am flying on commercial airlines with the nickel and dimming. Just increase the price and make it all inclusive.

Pros: Pleasant stay near bay front.
Cons: Valet parking was only parking choice.
Pros: We had a really great experience. Loved the hotel and location!
Pros: A very secure and modern hotel in the middle of downtown Sarasota. All kinds of restaurants and nightlife nearby.
Cons: Valet parking only....$15 per night.
Pros: Everything about the hotel was fresh and trendy. The rooftop pool and bar were great, the room was clean and tidy, great location in town. I really enjoyed my stay.
Pros: The price was great for us . The %60 savings is gteat
Cons: Needs microwave in rooms.
Pros: Hotel location was the best part of my stay. Rooms were very clean and hotel staff were very cordial. My six-year old wanted to stay in that hotel forever. That explains all :)
Pros: front desk staff
Pros: Excellent location and very good room
Cons: Was about to enjoy 1 hour at the pool before leaving Sarasota but was very dissatisfied by the fact that they did the cleaning of the pool area with a noisy gas driven machine. This should before way before 10 am
Pros: good selection for young people
Pros: Great location and great staff. Within walking distance to many restaurants and a grocery store. Every room has a safe and refrigerator! The gym is large and nicely maintained.
Cons: The only free parking is on the street, however I didn't have great difficulty finding a spot in a well lit location for the most part.

Pros: Friendly/helpful staff, and nice clean room.
Pros: The staff was very friendly. Had a nice shared courtyard that would have been nice if we wanted to cook out.
Cons: Room was small with insufficient seating. The full size refrig took up too much space. The in-room air conditioner struggled to cool down the room. You could sit on the commode and wash your hands. It was a block from the beach.
Pros: Best thing about this hotel was the staff when we had a problem with the air conditioner they found us a room at points of rock within 20 minutes
Cons: We did not stay there we had issues with the air conditioning and we had to move to a point of rocks location at 9:30 at night Too Small!!!
Pros: Short walk to the beach. Very well maintained. Free laundry.
Cons: Ashtrays and smoking in the shared outside courtyard.
Pros: Friendly staff, many free amenities such as beach chairs, washer/dryer and sand toys. Overall was a wonderful stay.
Pros: Comfortable bed & large pull out
Cons: Little bit of a walk to the beach
Pros: Very helpful staff
Cons: Very misleading on website. Was way too small for 4 people. The AC wasn't working. Would never go back!
Pros: Everything! Perfect location, gorgeous courtyard, tasteful rooms, cozy beds, friendly staff. 100% hassle free stay. Everything you could need for an extended stay. And if you are a tall Dutch person, you'll love the shower in the king palm room.
Cons: Only one Kleenex in box. The only reason I mention it is to bring awareness of how awesome this property is! You have to search for something to complain about. The room even has beach towels!
Pros: Charming family run beach bungalow within a 2 minute walk to the beach. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are pleasant, with kitchen facilities and everything you need for a beach getaway. We stay here whenever we are in Siesta Key.
Pros: Private Beach
Cons: Wasn't able to park on premises for the day after we checked out. Thus we could not enjoy the private beach
Staff is Very friendly and courteous. Rooms are newly updated. Beds plush & comfy. Fully stocked kitchettes. Bathrooms have huge glass enclosed showers with modern shower heads. Property has a heated pool and a shuffleboard area. Met so many great people visiting from various states. The beach is a very short walk - and the Capri has a beach chair/umbrella stand. All you need is your room key and you can have chairs/umbrellas charged to the room :D
Pros: Beautiful courtyard with many seating options, and (2) BBQ grills. Outdoor Lighting is lovely!
At The Capri at Siesta, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Siesta Key Public Beach. Free perks include WiFi and self parking. Conveniences like kitchenettes are in all rooms, along with balconies or patios and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: Great staff; comfortable and attractive rooms; good bar.
Cons: The only aspect of the Hyatt that I didn't like is that it is a little attenuated from downtown Sarasota, requiring us to use a car to go downtown.
Cons: Water backed up in the sink in our room. They were quick to repair but the smell remained in the room and was awful.
Pros: Great location for anything you wanted to do. Relax, Swim, Kaysk, paddle board, fish, go to the beach. All inclusive to do the above activities. Great pool bar. Friendly and helpful staff starting from your arrival at the front door until you leave. Close proximity to great restraunts, night life and cultural events.
Cons: I liked everything. Nothing negative about this Hotel
Pros: The staff was very cordial and helpful. The room was quiet and very clean. Lots of activities.
Cons: Hard to differentiate between those "free" amenities and those for which you are charged. Also not enough complimentary newspapers in the early morning.
Pros: Clean, comfortable rooms, pool area nice
Cons: I think Breakfast should be included for the price.
Music at the bar area would be nice...
Pros: Rooms were functional.
Staff was well trained.
Cons: An additional Resort FEE when checking in.
It's NOT really a resort.
And if it was , I would like to know about additional fee's in advance.
Located on Sarasota Bay with Private Marina, lush tropical gardens nestled in Theater and Arts Cultural Center. Minutes away from white-sand beaches,World renowned shopping and Ringling CaDaZan and Museum. Ideal for business and pleasure.
Pros: Staff was very friendly & helpful. Room was very clean .
Pros: The location was good. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: There were hairs all over the shower floor. It was very late at night so we didn't have the energy to change rooms. Also, there were stains on the couch. We took pictures of the hair and stains and showed it to one of the managers the next morning and she gave us a 50% discount. That was very nice but even at half off it was too much to pay for a room that dirty.

Cons: Our room was filthy. It looked like the only thing that was changed between guests was the bedding... And I'm not even sure about that .
Pros: really great place
Cons: a little to expensive
Pros: To my surprise we were upgraded to the newly renovated rooms in the south tower. We were given a two bedroom suite with kitchenet and double balcony with amazing views. Even though it rained and was overcasted most of the time we still had a fantastic stay, for the simple reason that the accommodations were so great.
Pros: the beach and the shoppes
Cons: room was old and out dated tiles broken carpet ripped room was just run down.
Pros: The location and beach are great. The poolside tiki hut is a place I could stay all day, and the pina coladas were great.
Cons: The rooms are old. Mold in the shower and baseboards are falling apart. Our group had 4 rooms at the resort and all of them were the same (and yes, all had mold on the shower curtain). When paying $200+ per night, you should get a lot more.
Pros: Great location, that's about all they have though
Cons: Paid rate of nearly $350 for a Friday night, tried to check in at 6 room wasn't ready, had to go back and check in again at 7:30. Horrible room next to parking lot and noisy early morning housekeeping carts. Next morning housekeeping was knocking at 10 a.m. to vacate and clean the room. Buyer beware as they say. Won't be back.
Pros: Convenient location. Great view. They have one of the most friendly, outgoing, accommodating and polite staff I have ever come across. Very nice pool & hot tub facilities - separate areas for family and adults - a nice feature. Quality lounge chairs & towels at both the beach and pool. Only ate one breakfast at the resort but the food and service were both excellent. I would certainly return.
Cons: Set your GPS the first time coming here - when approaching from the north there is a palm tree partially blocking their sign so you could easily drive past the entrance before you realize where you are. After that, it's no problem. Also, use Washington St, etc. to bypass St. Armands Circle as you will avoid slow traffic around the circle. This will bring you right to their entrance.

Pros: I landed at the Holiday Inn because of a flight cancellation at SRQ. I booked from the airport, and ended up staying there for 20 hours. The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. I also loved the bright design of the hotel.
Cons: I found a wet used facecloth upon checking in and garbage on the floor, but was too tired to complain. The gym facilities are small and not well maintained. There is no expresso coffee. Location not ideal unless you are going to the airport.
Pros: Staff attentive courteous food in restaurant good large portions. Room clean and comfortable.
Cons: Photos made it look bigger and newer than it is but it was still a good experience
Pros: The check-inn staff were friendly and professional. The king suite was big and luxurious. Great stay
Pros: The hotel appeared to be new, very clean and had great amenities. Restaurant on site. Reasonably priced
Cons: Lobby was understaffed. I incurred long waits for service. Restaurant was understaffed and service was fair.
Pros: Our room was exactly what we expected. The food was amazing and well priced. Staff was very nice.
Cons: Did not understand why a handicapped room would be on the 6th floor. And the elevator actually was broke for a time one night. But there was no sign posted to indicate we had to take the stairs. What if we would have needed to get our handicapped aunt down from the 6th floor?

Cons: No managers reception as stated they were changing to laquinta
Pros: check in was quick, everything ready for arrival, front desk staff was very nice. although the hotel is undergoing renovations, you could not tell at all (definitely a plus). rooms were clean, fresh linens and towels, comfortable beds and great location off 1-75. Breakfast offerings are typical, seemed like powder eggs although. Coffee was fresh and good.
Cons: Price is a little high as there are no real different amenities then the typical Comfort Inn, etc.
Pros: Free breakfast !!! Clean rooms!! Great staff!!! Johana was a sweet heart at check in!!!
Pros: Everything was just perfect, from the front desks to room from breakfast to location. You won't be disappointed.
Cons: Could not find nothing wrong.

Cons: Roaches in the bedroom, rusted appliances, ended up booking another room at the Holiday Inn up the street. Will be filing a complaint for the reimbursement. This is insulting

Pros: We enjoyed the clean rooms along with the pool and pool bar. The rates were excellent and the location was decent. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The breakfast was actually pretty good for a hotel.
Pros: Clean rooms, friendly staff, POOL HAPPY HOUR, breakfast super yummy, no noise. Excellent!!!
Cons: They gave us a room that wasn't ready but the staff made the changes in less than two minutes. So it's not really a complain.
Pros: It was nice and quiet...a. Fun. Tiki bar. And a great pool...the desk should remind people of both....the bartender needs more business. Great breakfast. !!
Pros: Location, cleanliness
Pros: Breakfast is great
Staffs are really good for this kind of small hotel
Cons: Bathroom is nasty and tiny. Bathtub curtains are really dirty. Very bad crowd. Half of the crowd looks like they are on drugs or something. It's a bad decision that I booked this hotel based on reviews. It's located near a busy road so you might hear road noise as well. Luckily, they gave me room far from road (again friendly staff)
Pros: The pool area was really nice.
Cons: Didn't like that after the first night the room wasn't cleaned.
Cons: Although housekeeping entered our room every day but one day during our stay, our room was not vacuumed each time. We had spilled a couple of popcorn kernels and they were left on the floor for a couple of days. Kind of disappointed with that.
Pros: I loved the location, cleanliness, friendliness, and breakfast.
Cons: Liked everything.
