10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best choice for our anniversary trip! The heated swimming pool is beautiful. Breakfast had so many options (Vegan, Detox, Peruvian Fruits, Tea Corner, Hot plates). They gave us an upgrade for a room with a terrace. Rooms are big and beautiful. Everything works how it should. Staff was very friendly and helpful, helped us book taxis and trips.
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, beautiful resort and just nice!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved that the train took us inside the property, coming back from Machu Picchu. The hotel is amazing, very well located, amazing architecture and gardens, great staff. Highlight to the SPA and its water treatments.
Cons: Unfortunately, like most of the properties in Peru, is located in very poor communities. So driving in/out isn’t the best feeling.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the attention of the staff in general. Everyone was always willing to help and happy to share their Inca knowledge. Karina was a great hostess at the restaurant. Thanks
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast Train to Match Pitchu I leaves out of the hotel
Cons: A bit expensive
5.5 Okay
Pros: Attractive, upgraded to jr suite, room with not enough lighting to read. Don’t need walk in closet. Only water for guests use in small glass bottles, can’t take those to hike around with! hairdryer didn’t work. Liked in room coffee maker
Cons: Very isolated location so you’re trapped . eating was a problem for me. Went to dining room, they said no room for me as they were expecting buses of people (I’m already a paying guest, quite a lot of money) guess I didn’t count. Went to room to call room service, several times, rang for a long time, no one picked up. Went to bar, given menu with couple sandwiches and then a page of items to share ( I’m traveling solo). Got upset and they brought me soup. Not what I expect for well over $300 a night. Palacio del Inka in Cusco from same hotel group was so much better. I wouldn’t pick them next time
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfy and great breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: The over enthusiastic action of staff is a little bit annoying
10.0 Excellent

9.5 Excellent
Pros: There was lots to like at Aranwa, especially the quiet location, and incredible smell of eucalyptus throughout the grounds from all the nearby trees. In addition, the staff were all super friendly, doing all they could to help us, including researching and booking our train tickets to Machu Picchu!
Cons: The temperature in the restaurant in the evenings was very cold - most diners eat with coats on, and many even wear hats to keep warm!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful and beautiful, great location for many tours. We got an upgrade to a 2 level villa on the river which was so amazing. The breakfast staff were the best, always greeted us by name, just a nice personal touch, and the breakfast was good. The spa was very good, and all the staff lovely. It was a real pleasure to have stayed there for 4 days. It is highly recommended. Denis & Marie Australia
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When we checked in they told us that they had great news and that we had been Upgraded to two story river suite. We were traveling with a baby and they went out of their way to accommodate us. They handled all transportation and tours when we wanted with ease. The food quality is top notch with lots of variety. The location is peaceful but Close enough to nearby attractions. We enjoyed the spa and massage.
Cons: We liked everything
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and the stall are lovely, food is excellent.
Cons: The hotel charges extra or use of the spa and the fees are unreasonably high - so its not really a spa hotel rather an ordinary hotel where you can pay to use a hot tub or a steam room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is amazing, very helpful We were on our honeymoon and They gave us an upgrade in our room for free.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The grounds, the hot pool, the old buildings, the restaurant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is one of the nicest resorts I have ever been to. Great grounds, many things to do, amazing staff, great location for sacred valley exploration. Room was wonderful, albeit a bit cold the first night. There is a museum, a shop for alpaca things which I regret I did not buy, a movie theater.... wonderful plants, trees and birds everywhere. They recommended us a knowledgeable driver who took us to many places (Pepe) who was reliable and super nice! I wish we had more time there!
Cons: There was only one restaurant on the property and it was not very good. Definitely something to improve here.... the main dinner courses were bad both nights. The lamb was dry and over cooked, the lomo saltado was bland, chewey and uninspired. Breakfast had few choices and equally uninspired and bland. The only saving grace was the bar food, which was actually quite good! Quesadilla was yummy! Pisco sours very good!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It's a pricey luxury hotel that we can't afford, but we got a great deal ($600 for 3 nights) and used as base for visiting the Sacred Valey. Very good service, good and varied breakfast, clean rooms and bathrooms. Nice colonial architecture.
Cons: Awful and spotty Wifi in our bedroom. Shower took too long to warm up. Poor tourist information in front desk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a beautiful, calm & welcoming hotel. We stayed for 3 nights, Food was amazing & The spa is well worth a visit! All staff are really lovely & helpful, Especially Amadeo in the bar, Yvonne on reception & Madison in the restaurant We used reception to book all our taxi`s on our stay, all drivers were extremely friendly & often stopped for us to get out to take some photo`s without even being asked. Perfect location to explore the Sacred Valley; Ollantaytambo, Pisac Market, Maras, Moray etc All facilities are to a high standard, Would highly recommend this little slice of heaven! We cant wait to visit again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Aranwa was absolutely amazing. We stayed the 2 nights before at Tamba Del Inka which was equally amazing, but different. The hotel is centered around an old hacienda which is beautiful. The grounds have Llama, peacocks, parrots and bridges and fountains. You are surrounded by mountains. Our 2 teen grandsons trekked the Inca Trail and we chose to stay at Aranwa when they returned. We felt it was a little more teen friendly. They loved the resort! I only booked one night, giving them the choice to go to Cusco the next day. They made their choice in 60 seconds. Breakfast was very good as were the selections. Dinner was also very good. We had a Spa Day and it met expectations. I've been in spas around the world. We had river view rooms with walkout terraces which were steps away from the "river" which was filled with Koi. The staff was wonderful. An outstanding 2 days!
Cons: Nothing

The room was super nice and comfy and the breakfast was amazing, super tasty and big, and it is served in a nice living room in the second floor with sunny and nice views to the backyard. The staff was helpful and kind from the very beginning. We would highly recommend to stay here.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly attentive staff, atmosphere is very relaxing, makes you forget you're missing Thanksgiving at home!
Cons: No turkey :(
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was a number 10, we enjoyed sampling all the various and interesting items offered, almost overwhelming! Location is excellent, not far off rt 28b, but far enough for a quiet more private location.
Cons: Could have provided more water gratis with the room. They did provide two small bottles free, but two other larger 1 liter bottles were 10 soles each, a heavy price considering we could buy 21/2 liter bottles at the Mercado for 3 soles each.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Short bath
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The property is beautiful. It has manicured gardens, well appointed rooms and excellent cuisine. While I was there I had an emergency at home which required me to use the fixed phone line. They opened it free for me. I thought it was a special, kind gesture which speaks volumes about their customer service.
Cons: When we got to the hotel it did not have my booking.com reservation on their system. Also they could not produce the room keys. They eventually fixed the bug but I had to check in without them guaranteeing me the booking.com rate (eventually they did honor it).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great friendly staff. Beautiful clean facility and great breakfast options.
Cons: WiFi did not work for the entire two separate stays
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant was excellent.
Cons: Arranged a pickup at the airport which failed to turn up but this is fairly normal.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The 2 story rooms were amazing
Cons: The bar wasn’t open until after 1. There is no pool.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Because it's located between the Ollantayambo and Urubamba, it is quiet. If you're looking for an oasis, this is it! I loved listening to the birds throughout the day and laying in the hammock reading. The beds were comfortable, and there was robes and slippers. The staff is kind and extremely helpful. Definitely a nice place to relax and unwind.
Cons: There's really no where close to eat. The hotel does have a small menu though. The hotel gives a couple tiny glass bottles of water for free, but charge 10 soles per plastic bottle. I got 3 large jugs for the same price in town.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is wonderful at Taypikala Valley Deluxe Urumbamba. The rooms are large and beautiful. The reception has amazing weavings. The ceremonial area of a mini Moray was perfect for us to share ceremonies. I rate this hotel 10++
Cons: The meals were mostly great. The buffet breakfast is lovely. However the third dinner was REALLY SLOW service, my group became very disappointed with the restaurant. It took FOREVER to get our bills to be able to sign them . I guess the restaurant was short a cook and a waiter.... not really sure why the service was terrible the third night.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Literally, a hidden Gem... The hotel was hidden behind the homes of the local residents. But once we got there, it was very secured and a beautiful property next to the river and the mountain. From the time we arrive, we felt welcomed by the staff and the hotel was very nice. The room was spacious, very nice, with a breath taking view of the pool, river, and mountain. Very nice and very relaxing place to be...
Cons: Not easy to find - hidden away... The majority of visitors will have a guide or taxi to get to the hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was amazing with great views of the surrounding mountains and urubamba river. The miniture versions of Peruvian landmarks and artifacts were great and the gardens were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day.
Cons: We checked in 3 hours later than we said we would arrive (but called before to tell them) and our room hadn't been cleaned/ serviced. There were 2 of us and they offered one of us a free jaccuzi session and the other would have to pay $25 which I thought was a bit poor. Two chicken sandwiches and 6 chips each was 90 soles which seemed excessive.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: the view of the room, the location and calm environment, nature on the area is amazing, my room view in front of the pool was awesome.
Cons: service is so poor, is a luxury property with a budget staff, very bad attitude, no training on how treat guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed the grounds surrounding the hotel. After a long day of sight seeing we would sit in the lobby by the fire place and drink the complimentary teas. It was very relaxing!
7.0 Good
Pros: The surroundings of the property are very nice: nice garden, next to a river, facing the mountains. Nice big rooms. Friendly staff.
Cons: It advertises as a 5* hotel but it clearly isn’t in terms of service, offer and restauration. The location of the property is not convenient and they do not organise a shuttle to town. The restaurant is in a big hall which was not heated and though the food was good, mealtimes were not enjoyable. We stayed only for a night and everyone was very kind but they should manage expectations: it is a nice property in a very nice surrounding but not a 5* hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super nice hotel at the river with a wonderful garden , very relaxing atmosphere, extremely friendly staff. Would go there longer than only one night next time!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice new hotel. Location is remote from Urubamba, but restaurant was good and main lobby was very inviting to spend time after busy day and before early start of the new day. Views were spectacular.
Cons: Rooms in this hotel need to be completely finished before claiming 5 stars. Staff in the restaurant also should be better trained.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location and the ground are beautiful. There is an infinite pool looking over the river and the mountain. The room is very big and the bed very confortable. The food is good but pricy (dinner). Good breakfast. It is located slightly outside of the city so you need a taxi to go into town (costs 15 soles if you take the taxi called by the hotel; costs 3 soles if you take the local "Mototaxi") as walking is not possible.
Cons: There is a fireplace in the lobby that was not working (lighted), probably due the a very low occupancy while I was there (it was winter and chilly at night). It gave the place a feeling of coldness and not welcoming.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The place is absolutely beautiful, great staff !
Cons: It was a little hard to get here from Machu Picchu, the roads were scary
Sacred Dreams Lodge - Urubamba - Bedroom

9.3 Excellent (115 reviews)

Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway and Sacred Dreams Lodge was perfect. It is designed so that everywhere you look there is beauty in flowers and the sound of running water as well as the mountain views. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We are definitely planning a return trip.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow--this lodge is truly a special gem! This is one of those unique places that will stay in our memories forever. From the moment we booked our stay, German and the staff made us feel incredibly well accommodated. German arranged transport for us from the Cusco airport with an included tour of some sites like Chinchero and Moray on the way to the lodge. He also helped us arrange drivers and excursions for each day of our visit, making everything seamless and easy for us. The property itself is breathtaking, with a forested setting, river, and meticulously maintained flowerbeds that make the area feel like an oasis. The architecture of the lodge is fascinating, built with site-made adobe bricks using traditional methods. Don't miss the photo albums in the lounge that show the construction process! We stayed in the suite that included a fireplace and an outdoor hot tub and the room was blissful. Very comfortable bed, nice toiletries, and a mini fridge stocked with water, soda, and beer. Whenever we wanted the hot tub filled or a fire started, we were able to easily contact German via WhatsApp and he would quickly send a staff member to the room to help us. In the restaurant, Violeta took wonderful care of us for the buffet breakfast and a la carte dinner every day. The food was great (perhaps not a gourmet experience, but still delicious and more than worth the close proximity) and we have fond memories of drinking coca tea and pisco sours by the fire in the lounge. Overall, the Sacred Dreams Lodge had the best of hospitality: we simultaneously felt like we were staying in a relaxed friend's home yet we also always felt pampered and looked after. We stayed at a much more expensive luxury resort near Machu Picchu later in our trip and we couldn't help but feel that our experience at the Sacred Dreams Lodge surpassed the luxury resort. We can't recommend this wonderful lodge enough!
Cons: Everything was perfect! The only thing we can think to add would be access to hot tea and coffee in the room. We would have loved to lounge in bed a bit longer each morning but we made ourselves get up to head to the restaurant since we always need our coffee fix first thing. Not a big sacrifice since the restaurant was also a lovely space to relax!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's so relaxing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing! They proactively helped with everything you could think of. We talked over WhatsApp the majority of our stay. Our room had an outdoor hottub which was nice to relax in at end of the night. The eggs were super fluffy!! Stay here!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sacred Dreams Lodge was AMAZING! The beautiful rooms are only out done by the setting. Our group of 8 people reserved 4 rooms and all of them were lovely. The lodge is situated in a small wooded canyon. A river runs through the property. German was there waiting for us to check in. He helped us with transportation and tours. We had to leave before breakfast so he made sure we had boxed snacks to take with us. He went above and beyond for our group. The night of our stay it was very cold and the staff made sure we had space heaters and hot water bottles.
Cons: People from our group were interested in using the hot tub but it was an extra charge.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful location and great room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing and the hotel is really nice.
Cons: The restaurant on site was not so great, which was a bit of a problem, since to go out for dinner in the evening required a bit of walking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: SO BEAUTIFUL. Quiet & serene. The land, the lodges and the staff are all 5 stars.
Cons: We loved everything.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Thank you for being very attentive It's a very peaceful property!

Pros: The host was very lovely, and their pizza restaurant downstairs was excellent! Super lovely people! View was amazing, and great assortment for breakfast.
Cons: It was quite noisy, kids running around and yelling. At 5am my room was bright because the people next door turned their light on, and the sliding windows between the rooms meant mine was now bright too; a curtain there might be good! At 8am it sounded like someone was moving furniture next door so maybe not the best if you're hoping to sleep in. Also I either needed to do something special to make the shower have hot water, or there just was none, but there were instructions in the shared washroom, but only in Spanish. All this being said, for a quick stopover in Urubamba, the price was good.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: No hot water-barely warm-unable to shower, wi fi not strong and breakfast cook your own eggs, first morning no coffee pot, ran out of chocolate cereal, second morning coffee pot present.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view from the terrase
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I spent 4 nights here. I was a bit thrown off by the outside of the hotel however, once I got in and saw the lovely rooftop terrace I was pleasantly surprised. It offers a small rooftop kitchenette. For breakfast they offer eggs that you are able to cook to your specifications. Juice, good strong coffee and the standard buns and jams are available. I spent my birthday here and a very kind lady brought me a piece of cake which was a lovely surprise. Gracias Seniorita! I rented a bicycle for the day on my birthday and it was great to bike through the "off the beaten track" neighbourhoods of Urubamba. The hotel is super close to the main plaza. There are many restaurants and shops within minutes of the hotel. Wifi is not available in all rooms. I was very disappointed with this but the same kind, cake lady allowed me to switch rooms so that I did have wifi but other guests weren't so lucky. The shower was hot!
Cons: wifi not available in all rooms. no English is spoken by the staff, but this was not a major inconvenience.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location; Good value; Hot water; Friendly staff.
Cons: Wi-fi does not work in the rooms; Not clear breakfast policy; Staff does not speak English.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the room had been kept clean well. Breakfast was taken with nice mountain view. Althought the staff spoke Spanish, she was helpful and friendly. Truely recommend it.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The rooftop terrace is great! It’s a unique and peaceful place to eat, drink, rest, and have 360 views of mountains. My room was large and very clean. There were some nice touches with soft-lighting lamps near the beds, and a little table and some decor.
Cons: There are no options for private bathrooms but in reality this wasn’t a problem because each floor has two bathrooms and they are kept very clean and well-stocked. Plenty of toilet paper, shampoo & soap, hooks, even a hairdryer!
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean and lounge area with kitchen, wifi was good and very secure place if felt like.
Cons: There are many pointless windows inside the building from room to lounge and bathroom has one looking into another room. Was no issue but very weird designed breakfast is okay, it's no more than bread and tea and some fruits.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is extremely helpful and makes you feel very welcome. Makes good coffee and offers good breakfast too. And having breakfast with the view from the terrace was a treat every morning. It’s right between the main road full of restaurants, and the town square. Great place to take day trips from, and def beats extremely touristy Ollantaytambo.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Jorge was a great host, very helpful and nice to talk to. Breakfast was the best we had in Perú. There is a cosy rooftop where you can have breakfast or chill after a long day. 100% Recomendable.

Cons: Spa was not included in the price
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The actual hotel is beautiful, decorated in a a Peruvian lodge style, surrounded on all sides by mountains. The food (breakfast and dinner) were fantastic and the restaurant staff were very good!
Cons: The checkin experience left much to be wanted. We were greeted by staff who seemed completely disinterested in being there and just running through the paces. We stayed in one of the villas behind the main hotel. It was also not up to the standard we expected having stayed at the Inkaterra Casona in Cusco and other 5 star hotels on our journey through South America. The actual villa was average at best - the amenities were standard and the room quite dark, not to mention that we had lukewarm water for the whole stay. The staff assured us they had never experienced the problem before and tried to fix it multiple times. Needless to say, not what you expect when paying so much for 2 nights stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful place to stay... in a lovely quiet setting with panoramic views of the surrounding mountain. The room, the service, the amenities and the friendliness of the staff were all exceptional. We would love to come back!

Pros: Location, rooms, food and the staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a fabulous stay that exceeded our expectations! Dan is the best manager we've ever encountered. He arranged a comfortable airport transfer for us (getting a taxi right at the airport can be a rip off) and organized our rides throughout our stay for a fair price. He also shared many tips with us and became more like a family friend over the course of the week we stayed. Because it wasn't busy, we got upgraded to a massive room and got a spacious cot for our baby. The hotel is practically brand new, mattresses are super comfortable and bed linen spotless and crisp, best we've had in Peru. The whirlpool in the bathroom was a treat! The room as well as the common areas are kept immaculately clean. The hotel is adjacent to a medical clinic for foreigners which gave us extra peace of mind in case we struggled with altitude sickness (our little kids and us had no issues though, we drank coca leave tea and dissolved chlorophyll drops in our drinking water). Breakfast was filling (jam, ham, cheese, eggs) and they made the best papaya juice. The surroundings are very quiet, the hotel is located right in between towns of Urubamba and Ollantaytambo (about 15 mins ride). We didn't mind being away from the bustle and hustle in the evenings, it was perfect for our family. We took collectivos (local buses) that run frequently in between Urubamba and Ollan. and cost 1-2 sol (Urubamba is often overlooked by tourists but if you have time, it's worth a visit and meals are 3 times cheaper than in touristy Ollantay. - Rawa just off the main square has a healthy menu and a play area for kids!). There is a mini market 3-mins walk from the hotel. Dan is able to arrange day trips to Maras, Moray and Chinchero for the same price as would be charged by agents in Ollantaytambo and it leaves comfortably from the hotel. You can get your laundry done in the hotel, charged by kilo.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The rooms we’re large and comfortable. The beds and linens were comfortable. The hotel manager, Dan, knows what customer service is and aims to please.
Cons: The hot water in the showers did not work. Our family had two rooms for three nights. One room had hot water for one night. The hotel kept saying they were fixing something and the hot water would work but it never did. We had dinner at the restaurant one night. It was one of our most expensive meals in Peru. Yet, the food was over-salted and the flavors were not great. My kids did not eat because they did not like the food. I would have to say that the restaurant is over-priced and the food is mediocre. The included breakfast had some high points (nice toast and jam) but we were given yogurt on only one of our three days and never offered any fresh fruit. We had better breakfasts in Cusco and Aguas Calientes. Dan seems to be a terrific manager but the staff does not know what to do when he is gone. Dan was not there on our last day, and the hotel did not operate well.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic, clean, spacious room with a gracious host. Astrid the hostess was simply marvelous. She went out of her way to help out. The rooms were palatial, we cancelled a third room as 2 were sufficient for a family of 8. There is a space heater to warm the rooms. The shower was reasonably warm.
Cons: The only drawback is the hotel (I believe it's a "spa" attached to a medical facility of sorts) is on a main road, but a bit out of the way from everything else. Unless you have a car, expect to take a taxi to get around.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very modern facility. Super clean. Helpful staff and nice breakfast. It is connected to a new med clinic but that didn’t matter. Great location between Urubamba and ollantaytambo on the main highway. Very easy access. Printed my train tickets for me. Astrid was very helpful with that.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Dan (staff) was extremely helpful and attentive
Cons: The location. It was in the middle of urubamba and Ollantaytambo. You need to take a cab every time you want to move
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hotel. Great facilities, great staff. Could not fault on anything. Well worth a stay.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, quality service. 10+
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The exceptional service from Dan, the hotel manager. He truly cares about his guests and he went above and beyond to make us comfortable. He went with us to get the train to Machu Picchu, he guided us through the check in process and stayed with us on the platform until the train arrived. Exceptional! Very warm service from the rest of the staff. Basilio, chef and driver, was also very caring when he drove us places. While we were with him he really looked out for us. The fair pricing for transport was also a welcome change from other hotels that significantly up charge if they arrange a taxi. The shower is fantastic. Great pressure and consistently hot water.
Cons: The need to get driven everywhere but it was tempered by the very good pricing of transport by the hotel. The checkout was a bit challenging because of the short-sightedness of the hotel’s owners in not providing a dedicated credit card reader for the reception desk. Hopefully this situation is amended soon.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very new, clean, with very comfortable rooms, it feels like a much more expensive hotel than what you pay for. Quite luxurious, with big spa tub in room. Room was very very quiet and bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was also very nice, with fresh juice every morning, Dan went out of the way to accommodate us, and the chef also stayed late one night so we could have dinner. The room was, as I already said, very comfortable, very spacious, quiet. The only thing that feels strange is the fact that the hotel is part of a health clinic, which is attached to building, but the specialize to treat people with altitude sickness, which could potentially come handy to people that suffer with this.
Cons: Not really a negative comment, just be aware that you might need on vehicle like us or organize transport.

Pros: Amazing! Lovely setting, not as touristy as other locations in the area and very peaceful and relaxing! Our host Norma could not do enough for us and really looked after us! She recommended a driver, Victor, who showed us around and was lovely and very knowledgeable! Would definitely recommend! Rebecca, Eunice and Catalina
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A little on the outskirts of urabamba so it was quiet and felt removed. Beautiful gardens overseen by a big sweet dog, Kimbo. The owners, especially Norma were so helpful and lovely - especially Norma who mad eus tamales, tea and disoensed lots of motherly advice about our travels to Mischa Picchu and Lima. :)
Cons: Had to leave at night for Dinner, but apparently they are we doing a restaurant so that will be less of an issue in the future I believe
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is more like a spa environment in the Andes. We were lucky enough to be able to stay in the casita which was perfect for our family. The train station to Ollyantatambo was only 20 minutes away and the hosts were so helpful in getting us transportation to go anywhere we wanted and back and forth to Cusco and also taking us to the ATM and to dinner. The breakfast was fantastic! The day we went to Machu Picchu a boxed breakfast was prepared. It was incredibly convenient! This was better than I ever expected and if I'm every lucky enough to go back to the Cusco region, I will absolutely stay here again. You really should experience this amazing property with fantastic service and delicious and healthy breakfast! We also highly recommend a trek with the Llama Pack Project which is just up the hill from the hotel.
Cons: We stayed in the casita and did make some of our own food as there is a kitchen. We asked for a few extra items to be added to the kitchen and it was done right away by the staff. Thank you! The kitchen could use a few more pots and pans though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My room was spacious, well decorated with typical items from that area. The owners were extremely nice and helped me coordinate day trips in the area. The breakfast was very nice too. The grounds are well-kept and beautiful, surrounded by mountains. It's a very peaceful hotel in a lovely and scenic area.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The family running the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. They organized many things for us and helped us whenever they could. The garden was stunning and cosy.
Cons: The only bummer was that they barely spoke English.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was ideally located to begin our altitude acclimatisation before moving on to Cusco and our trek to Machu Picchu. The staff were excellent and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was well prepared and just like eating home made with everything prepared freshly each day. Lunched ad evening meals are not available but one of the staff was happy to drive us to other restaurants in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely! Eggs made for us. Have never met a more congenial staff
Cons: Challenging to get breakfast and lunch since hotel is secluded
7.0 Good
Pros: There was a nightmare situation with creditcardmachine not working, of which they knew it wouldn't work the next day, so that's strange. We had to spend all our money which costs a lot if you want cash. The receptionist was told to be a refugee from Venezuela, he put us in a room with entrance IN the restaurant. We asked for another room that wasn't available and/or he didn't care, only after he looked inside our room with the hands on the glass while we were lying on bed, we were that flabbergasted we demanded another room, or our money back, that wasn't possible he said, because "it was not returnable". All in all, 2 hours later we got another room, but on the first floor and even worse for the noise and smell of the restaurant in the covered patio. We slept well, wanted to leave and then the owners made up for everything, saying we we're completly right, their apologies 20 times, souvenirs and if we really really didn't want to have breakfast. The "refugee" asked us how late we wanted breakfast and he said something like "at 8?", we thought we had to discuss breakfast time and finally compromised on 7:30. The next day we saw the breakfast was already from 6 and it was the best breakfast we had so far, and the lady of the house saved our trust in this hotel, which is a nice place and hotel, just don't stay in a room with an entrance IN a restaurant.
Cons: well, I told that above
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owner of this property is extremely nice. The surrounding is very pleasant . Very clean place to stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfasts, helpful owners, beautiful property.
Cons: The only problem with this hotel could be the location depending your type of stay. Its not within walking distance of really anything. If you are just going in and out to tour the Sacred Valley and maybe to eat one night in Urubamba, its an easy taxi. If you on your own and want to be able to walk to services, I would probably stay closer to town.

Pros: The good disposition to serve in the best way, the place is awesome, the spiritual vibe, the room super clean and with wonderful view. Silvia was really kind and hospitable. I totaly recommend this place!

Cons: All good.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The silence, the staff, it was clean and the view was amazing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was a lovely spread with enough variety to suit all tastes. The property, while secluded, was a lovely, flowerfilled reprieve from the noise and traffic of most centres and was an ideal setting to recuperate after completing the Inca Trail. Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, the Cerveceria del Valle Sagrado and horse riding excursions are easily accessible: simply enjoy the 2 km walk through the village of Yanhuara to the busstop on the main road (5th Paradero) and hop the Combi for a few soles - no costly taxi required. Bonus feature of the property - two delightful resident alpacas! Excellent value in every respect.
Cons: Met or exceeded my expectations in every way.
4.5 Okay
Pros: grounds pleasant and spacious staff pleasant
Cons: location not great - a distance out of town and up a bumpy road cannot use phones from room to make call. Had to call from reception and $ charges high even for local calls The main problem is the restaurant. When guests are this far from town they need a decent place to eat. The menu is limited and the evening we arrived and tried to eat there many items were not available. Food quality was basic and average. We stayed for 4 nights and ate here only on the first night - the second night we looked in and menu choice was further diminished so we took a taxi to town. If visiting this Hotel I would recommend you have a restaurant reservation elsewhere. Breakfasts were adequate but the exact same options every morning. :(
5.0 Okay
Pros: Beautiful grounds but the room was cold. Heater did not work.
Cons: Preference given to larger groups. Service was inadequate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful beyond any normal places including 5 star hotels. Inside and out it is just a matter of enjoying the moments of being and appreciating what others have done for guests.
Cons: Not being here sooner that last time three years ago and coffee in container to add hot water making as strong as one wants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful spacious rooms! The property was awesome with water cascades all over. This hotel was a little off the beaten path but well worth the detour. I would highly recommend it!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds and spacious room. Nice hot showers.
Cons: Wifi and internet connectivity was a big problem unfortunately.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is amazing. The view to the mountains and valley is breathtaking
Cons: The staff is not very flexible and accommodating. If you ask for something that is beyond their limits the answer is an immediate "no".

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly, although the gift store was closed, and there were only 2 staff so when it was time to eat, or if you ordered anything but a bottled beer, it didn't seem feasible for the two (very friendly) staffers to accommodate any over and above type requests from the guests.
Cons: More staff on hand to make things like Pisco Sours for the tourists. I wish the gift store was open. The man at the desk might have been new.... when I'd ask "Where is this? "Where is that?" he was very uncertain, however we did have a language barrier- My Spanish is not good The room was beautiful , but the shower needs a shower curtain! You take a shower, and all the water floods the bathroom Also, most places in Peru- the rooms need their own water heaters- The water takes a long time to warm up, therefore wasting precious water. I like warm showers so I wasted water for 5 minutes for it to warm it up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location near the main road in Sacred Valley, decent breakfast that starts at 5 am (very convenient for early travelers), easy to book tours and request taxi from the reception (with adequate prices).
