Pros: Everything! Except the dusty floor.
Cons: The floors of the room are a bit dusty. Maybe it's the cement finish. Maybe The Bricks Hotel can fix this. Maybe varnish the floor or something. Other than that everything was perfect.
Cons: Water fluctuates from scalding hot to cold. Really loud staff in the mornings!
Pros: Probably, IMO, best place in Dumaguete. Staff is very friendly, food is prepared very well and very tasty. Room was very comfortable, especially the bed.
Cons: I can't put my finger on a single item, other than, staying away from the beggars that tend to loiter in close distance from the hotel.
Pros: Location, very efficient housekeeping, and shuttle service
Pros: Really nice room, really nice breakfast, sweet and helpful staff
Cons: Nothing - except we ordered a airport-transfer they didn't book, but they drove us anyway so that was a nice solution :)
Pros: Great modern style. Fantastic location direct at the busy Rizal Boulevard. Super friendly staff.
Pros: it was a very clean hotel, the room has a rustic appeal and i liked it. The view in our room was great. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Located in Dumaguete, PVL Suites is within a 5-minute drive of Silliman University Main Campus and Rizal Boulevard. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We booked 2 rooms in this hotel. When we were checking out, the staff said two bath tower in 1 room missing and refused us to leave. the fact is we have owe tower,no one would care the bath towers in the rooms. In the end, it seems the cleaning staff forgot to put the towers in the room but signed the cleaning completion paper. I have travelled to over 20 countries, this is first happened to me, really embarrassing.I think the hotel still owe me an apology.
Pros: The staff were all approachable and they were very nice in attending your needs. The ambiance of the hotel is equivalent to a five star hotel. The surrounding smells good especially the room. And the whole concept of the hotel is magnificent.

Pros: I like the design/architecture of the place. They have a restaurant, common dining area, water refill station, souvenir stand, outdoor lounge. I like that the spaces are always clean. The staff are very helpful. And, they offer tour packages.
Cons: A little dark in our room, maybe they can provide additional light. The wood platform for the watercloset is breaking. Low water pressure at night time. And, there's a leak on the ceiling. I wanted to buy silvanas to bring back home but the management doesn't allow guests to use the refrigerator at the lobby and the restaurant. I think they should provide common refrigerator for the guests.
Pros: For a backpacker value was really good. Staff was really nice. Hostel was really nice and good. The acoustic night was really nice.
Cons: The showers was little bit disgusting. When we wanted to eat breakfast in the hostel it was little bit sad that you couldnt order what you liked because some of the menus dishes were finnished.

Pros: Such a nice little place Sam has! Very accommodating staff with helpful tips, and he gave us a ride after our stay! The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. Breakfast a definite bonus!
Cons: The bathroom could have used a little updating but very good in comparable to other places in the area.
Pros: Everything was amazing an very friendly staff and owner.
Pros: Barrio life approx. 2 km away from the main city. Nice ambiance with simple accommodation but provided the basic needs. For 397/head/night, we stayed in an aircon room with hot and cold shower, amenities provided are shower gel, shampoo, tissue, towels, plus different colored hangers (so you can identify which towel is yours with the color of the hanger). Provided complete meal for breakfast though if your picky, there are no choices aside from having rice or bread with coffee. Fried rice with sausage/ham, eggs and vegetables. If you choose bread its with scrambled eggs and mayo... and its yummy! Staff and Sam is friendly. You can just text him anytime and provide immediate feedback. They can assist you in all your needs. Despite of the fact that's its a little far from the main road to achieve the simple barrio life. They offer tricycle ride or call for a ride as needed. Their trike ride is cheaper P20/head .. total of only P80 going to the plaza, compared to calling a trike which will cost P100. We booked their trike at 5am to go to the market and buy budbud sa tanhay (yummy diff flavored suman) as we have to be early to be able to buy. Ambiance is great! Loved their flowers and hammock under the trees.
Cons: Better if online payment is available rather than cash only.
Pros: Staying in this place was great and the staff are very friendly , they serve breakfast are very good
Cons: Toilet bowl has problem in flushing
Pros: The owner Mr. Sam was accomodating.
Cons: The location was far from the main city’s attraction. Good thing the google map helps a lot.
Pros: Friendly and very helpful staff. Good walking distance to good places
Pros: Clean, new facility. Hospitality was exceptional. Sam even offered us a ride the next morning to the bus!
Cons: A bit primitive for this spoiled American. No toilet paper or trash can in the room but for a night it was a positive experience
Pros: Friendly owner and his wife , Nice to talk about everything , Very nice room with clean bathroom and hot water, Nice garden where you can take a good rest And when you want to go to the city or the shipterminal , the owner is willing to bring you there ! Its a nice place for a traveller ! Thank you , Mr. Sam !
Pros: - Sam and his wife are friendly and nice! They allowed us to leave the car in their property while we went to Siquijor for a night. - Location is good as well as it's near the town prower, airport, and seaport. - Hangers inside bathroom for wet clothes. - Very affordable!
Cons: - Black ants inside and outside the room - Floor is dusty and needs wax - Shower with heater doesn't work (we used pale and dipper, which was ok for us) - Toilet flush didn't work in the room we were transferred to on our last night - Slow wifi
When you stay at Sulit Budget Hotel in Dumaguete, you'll be near the airport, within a 5-minute drive of Bell Tower and Robinsons Mall. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything about the hotel and staff✈
Cons: There wasn't a thing.
Pros: The location, easy to get anywhere even to walk. Hospitality, 24 hour availabilty, courtious, great value, big rooms. excellent sitting area, refrigerater, wifi is great. it is a great stay i extended here.
Cons: cant find anything i did not really like
Pros: Close to the airport
Pros: accessible in the airport as preferred.
Cons: the room is too small. restroom was not close up until the ceiling.
Pros: I like its cheap price. Very affirdable.
Cons: Water pressure is not that strong, making bath time a bit annoying.
Pros: Clean and comfy
Cons: They should have a free service water. Water is life.
Cons: 1. No water at all in the single rooms. Had to go all the way downstairs to reception with wearing only a towel to find just one slightly working shower next to them. There was not shower and minimal sink water in all the private rooms upstairs each day I stayed. How can a hotel not have water in 2019? 2. The floor is super thin and the windows are single pane. So it's super noisy from the street right below and you can hear all the talking downstairs from 6 or 7 am cus the floorboards also don't block sound. I might as well have camped outside.
Pros: The hotel is near the Rizal Bldv. & Silliman Univ. Just a minute or 2 walking you’ll reach those attractions. It was also near the Dumaguete Port. Very accessible if you will cross Siquijor. It was also a walking distance from the main road where you can fetch jeepney or any PUB. The staffs were all nice. There is a free coffee and water for everyone. The room was spacious. There is also a veranda where you can see the blvd. a refrigerator helps us too to store properly the silvanias.
Cons: You can hear the conversation of the adjacent rooms and the footsteps from the outside can easily be heard from our room. The CR of twin room is separate from the bedroom per se. Which is quite not convenient you will be needing to take a pee or bath immediately. Although its just across the room, but I find it inconvenient somehow.
Pros: Clean room and spacious
Cons: No Tv little bit noise
Pros: The location and the area.
Cons: The room smells and we saw some dead cockroach inside the room, also the room is not clean.
Pros: Clean spacious room and bathroom. I love the wood flooring, the staff are accommodating. The bed is really comfortable, bedsheets smell so good and the blanket is soft. Theres a reF inside the room so u can store the silvanias haha. I love it overall.
Cons: The weak running water
Pros: Nice staff tho there’s no hot water during the time we stayed in there, perfect location
Cons: Little bit of noisy
Pros: If you’re on a budget trip, I recommend this place. Just don’t choose twin room since the comfort room is outside and it’s full of hassle. Choose family room or deluxe room. It was just good for the price.
Cons: None at all.

This hotel has 11 square feet (1 square meters) of space consisting of a conference center and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I traveled solo for my Dumaguete trip, so I booked here because their room prices are affordable. I appreciate their offer of free transport service from the airport to the hotel. It is located near the city proper, it will only take less than or around five minutes of travel time if you will ride a trike. It's also near a Baroroy Eatery branch, if you're on budget and you don't mind eating cheap Filipino pork and beef dishes. They have neat facilities, and my room with its amenities were excellent. The manager, who also serves as a receptionist, and staff are warm and welcoming, and are glad to give their assistance (my TV and heater couldn't turn on initially so I asked for help). I have an initial itinerary in my mind for my trip but they also have great suggestions (Malaunay prayer mountain is one) on where to go aside from the main tourist attractions. The manager also has contacts with those offering day tours, which was helpful for me who haven't had any contacts yet upon my arrival. I already became friends with the staff in my almost three-day stay at the hotel, and it was fun learning a little bit of Cebuano with them.
Cons: They don't offer breakfast at the time of my stay, but you can cook and store your groceries as an alternative. They also don't have a generator yet, but the manager/receptionist told me it's already in the works. The hotel experienced brownout in the morning so I wasn't able to use the heater for my shower. I look forward to its further improvements :)
Pros: I really like the place, clean, comfortable and quiet..they have refrigerator where you can stock your groceries, microwave, toaster and a cooking facilities which is free of used..The free flowing of hot and cold mineral water in a dispenser in each floor can help a lot, they have an excellent accomodation, very welcoming staff, especial mention to Ms. Harley and Ms. Cres for the the excellent service, kudos. They help us on how to do by ourselves for a cheap and enjoyable trip. A little bit far from the city but they have motorcycle on site for a convenient ride.
Cons: Nothing,everything is perfect!
Pros: I like the ambiance, its clean and comfy Quiet and safe, the room is so comfortable, the staff were accommodating.I would recommend aberrise hotel to anyone who wants to travel in Dumaguete.

A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good location Friendly staff
Cons: Need a little tweaking (tap was loose, air con was rattling)
Pros: There were mosquitoes inside the room on my 1st night although they sprayed insecticide when requested. No complimentary bottle of water....
Pros: Good location. 7-11 and Robinson supermarket is in walking distance. Prompt assistance from receptionist.
Cons: Shower water flow is too small. No hairdryer, but you can borrow from the reception. Thin blanket, it's just a cover sheet. I need to wear jacket in sleep.
Pros: Friendly staff. Comfortable bed
Cons: When you leave the room power is shut off to everything. So anything in the refrigerator is warm or spoiled and electronic devices not charged.
Pros: Budget hotel. Location is good. 7-11 was downstairs. There are nail and massage parlours, a cafe in the same building. Rizal Boulevard and good restaurants are walkable. Also, ceres bus terminal and the Dumaguette airport are a tricycle ride away.
Cons: The room smelled damped as if not used for a long time. The floor was moist and sticky. The room had only one small window and no sun-light could come in. I did not complain as I spent most of my time outside.
Pros: Excellent location, good wifi, friendly staff
Cons: Room size for couple, old furniture and no elevator.

Pros: Bangalow and the bathroom
Cons: No TV , miss leading menu , incorrect ordering menu as couldn't order what was on menu . Inside the cave pool water was dirty .
Pros: What a place Started off with delayed flight from Cebu, phoned the resort to tell them, not a problem they said, finally arrived 2 hours later to find the owners had come personally to collect us, the restaurant even called to see if we needed feeding as they would be shut when we arrive!!! From the moment you get into your chalet it’s relaxation, nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff. Don’t even think about coming if you want parties and nightlife, you’d hate it! What Adi and Nena have here is the most relaxing and chilled resort I have ever been to, everything from the bar to the pool is all top notch, now planning our return visit
Cons: Nothing, although getting a tricycle can sometimes take up to 30 mins
Pros: Friendly staff and cleanliness.

Pros: I like that it is near Robinson's Dumaguete so we could eat out or buy some food easily. It is also nice that they have a tricycle service that we could ask to take us to the mall or to other places.
Cons: I don't like the roads leading to the property and how difficult it was to find but these things don't really take anything away from the experiences. They had direction signs from the main street so it was not so bad once you see the first sign.
Pros: The owners Peter and Jane are warm friendly people. The staff is happy to fulfill your every reqirement. The beach house is beautiful very clean with a lovely pool. Though it is less than 10 minutes by PettyCab from the shopping center the neighbourhood is serenely quiet. I slept like a baby. Becuse they are off the main strres there is a PettyCab on site for hire ad well as a van if needed. Peter also has a boat available for snorkling or SCUBA.
Cons: Creepy place, there was a concluded wake (minus the coffin) at the living room. I asked for breakfast and nobody bothered. The receiving area was mess due to the wake, dishes were scattered at the sink of the common kitchen. Very hard to find with stray dogs everywhere. Not accessible to public transport. I cannot imagine spending the night and left after less than an hour
Pros: Delightful location, the sea is right outside! The family room had view of the front garden & the pool. The property was very clean & well-maintained considering there were a several trees around the house. We had clean en suite shower and toilet. Pool was well-maintained- I spent hours there which was a real treat. Had access to the fridge & the cooking equipment were just outside the house. Everything we needed was there. Friendly & accommodating staff.
Pros: The manager was really nice. The grounds and pool and water view are lovely. On the first afternoon a boy ran and got a beer from an undisclosed location and the manager got some barbeque sticks from somewhere else. The breakfast was great but expensive.
Cons: The housemaid never smiled nor spoke despite my greetings in her language. The bathroom floor doesn't drain and was wet when we arrived The bathroom smells bad. The location is beautiful however there are no restaurants within walking distance. The housemaid grunted instruction to my partner to walk to the main road and get a tricycle when we asked her for one as advertised at reception.. the main road is more than a km.. the close restaurant on maps is actually 1.4 km when you walk around.
Pros: Cozy family home... Felt comfortable and the room was clean and comfy
Cons: No complaints
Pros: Very nice house with swimming pool and big garden next to the sea. The owner is very helpful and friendly.
Cons: It is a little remote however the good thing is you don't have the noise and hassle from the city centre

Cons: The Banana shake is so sweet

Cons: Needs a mirror in the bathroom
Pros: Time extentions of 3 hours for only 100 pesos.
Cons: The aircon was not working well. Warm room, and it has few mosquitoes.

Pros: Nothing to write home about.
Cons: The windows in the superior doubles are all boarded up according to staff, despite photos showing window.. the bathroom has no bidet despite photos. Cockroaches. Staff were indifferent to my request to have room with a window. Second day clerk wanted$22 per night extra for upgrade to room with window. They were indifferent to my statement that I was looking for a fourth night after booking and paying for 3. They were indifferent to my statement that I would say that I was unimpressed in my review. Three nights in a blacked out room upset my body clock with no sense of night and day.
Pros: I like the spacious family room and the location of the hotel was accessible to nearby restaurants.
Pros: Best location and comfortable rooms
Cons: They didnt have free breakfast
Pros: The room is so big.
Cons: The room is so big when there were only two of us staying. The A/C is not sufficient to keep the room cold. Not all lights are working. The room’s lighting is sort of dark. Also, there is a fee going to the airport c/o the hotel.
Pros: Very good size room, sound proofing works as the construction next door didn’t bother us. And as we arrive early 8:30am from a long flight they were so kind to give us a room on arrival.
Cons: Table and chairs are too cheaply put together ( made of plastic)..,
Located in Sibulan, Sunshine Guesthouse is within a 5-minute drive of Silliman University Main Campus and Rizal Boulevard. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
Pros: Good staff nice room
Cons: Its nice..though there 's no mirror in the room. Doesnt matter very much though
Pros: Room was spacious
Cons: Bathroom is not very clean, no divider between shower and toilet
Pros: Because we have to left very early in the morning, we have no choice for the breakfast served.
Cons: The location. It is hard to get a ride from the villa.ť
Pros: The room looks nice and clean. It was also quiet on the area.
Cons: Late or no response to some of my messages/inquiries. The location was near the airport however, there were few trikes around the area so we had to walk through the highway before we could commute.
Pros: The look and feel of the place is expected. Location is 4 min drive from the airport. The room is quite big for 2 people, it's clean and the temp of the aircon for me is just right, my hubby wants it colder. We got the rooms at a cheaper rate, so i'm really not expecting much from the breakfast, it's the basic silog meals served with coffee or tea. I really like their tea. Basic needs are met. The best are the friendly and approachable staffs.
Cons: Looking for the tv because my parent's room have 1.
Pros: The AC was ok and so are the beds.
Cons: There are a number of things I didn't like. 1. The room was dirty esp under the bed. 2. The toilet has bugs. 3. There was no option to get your 'free breakfast' earlier or later. (Dumaguete is a tourist destination. They should have an idea how early the departure times are to go on tours) 4. When we were able to get our breakfast, they had it wrong. but since it was already cooked, we just took what they prepared. 5. We have Silvanas in the ref, and labeled the container but someone got a piece. Last but not the least, my necklace got stolen!! You would think that your things will be secured in the room but someone managed to go in and got it. Unfortunately, it was too late when I realized that it was stolen. But I was certain on where I've placed it as it was with my other things and it was the only one that went missing. :( Very sad.
Cons: Everything is dirty, the room is filthy, the toilet/bathroom is disgusting. Ants, cockroaches everywhere. The restaurant is filthy. Everything is poor.
