Pros: The owners Florence and Joseph are the most helpful and hospitable hosts. Florence answered all my pre arrival requests really promptly and was there to welcome us and helped us to rent the bicycles from the rental store conveniently located next door. The property is really well positioned with parking immediately outside, albeit on the street. Behind the ancient doors lies a property with a most beautiful, tranquil garden, complete with huge pond available for the use of guests. Loved it. Our apartment, was split-level& quite small, but the owners had very cleverly included everything you would need the self cater, including a washing machine and a very good espresso coffee maker. Great for people touring . Loved the cycling to the coast along the cycle tracks, very flat and safe and the fact that the property is an easy walk to the centre of Abbeville with its restaurants and shops and only 1 hr 15 mins from Calais.
Cons: Not too keen on shower room next to sitting area, but understand why it was there and it was extremely well fitted.

Quiet location. No attractions close by, but only a mile or so from Abbeville centre, which is very nice. It's actually a very pleasant little town, considerably exceeding our expectations. Breakfast was interesting. We have never before been served via a trolley wheeled through the garage and delivered through a side door. Fascinating!!

Pros: Staff were very friendly. It is a stunning building, with great history (had to Google it) and we had a lovely room with BIG comfortable bed. Basic but adequate breakfast. Lovely white bourgundy wine served at fair price.
Cons: No evening food, if you arrive late there are no food options local. The tea tray had only two tea bags (no tea flavour) and no milk, we suspect they don't have many British customers. There was also no plug for the kettle near the table. There were a few little things that let the property down: dirty cups and glasses in bathroom. We found used/opened toiletries. There was no wall mounted toilet roll holder. It would have been nice to have the bottle of wine served in an ice bucket, to keep it chilled. There was an Ikea build instruction in a public area, which didn't match the era of the building. The salt/pepper dish at breakfast needed a little spoon, there was finger imprints in the salt which doesn't seem very hygenic. The TV in TV room is ancient and could do with an update. It would have been nice to have some outdoor seating options to relax outside with a drink after a long drive. It's just minor things, but they do add up.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Warm hospitality
Cons: No restaurant on site
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful decor. Really tastefully restored. We could heat the room which was a bonus as it was cold and wet. Breakfast very good. Chateau steeped in history and owner charming and spoke English, too.
Cons: We reserved a superior twin room but were directed to quite a small twin. As we were only guests that night were shown other rooms but told it would be an extra €30. I didn’t remember that I had booked the superior room until too late, so though our room was very comfortable I was displeased that we were not given the correct room for the amount we paid €120 Muesli for breakfast would have been a good addition
7.9 Good
Pros: The property is truly magnificent and we peeked into the others rooms which were wonderful
Cons: Not enough furniture in our twin room. Only one chair and no furniture to put anything in or on. Only 1 teabag each over 2 nights and the mugs not washed. No coffee available in the room. Our twin was a lower standard than their other rooms. Which was disappointing in such a wonderful place. Lovely hostess.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was stunning and room beautifully decorated and styled. We loved sharing the history of the chateau and learning about its family heritage. We were thrilled the owner showed us their renovations and openly shared their beautiful house.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful chateau stay, would recommend this hotel. The caretaker even provided a private tour of the chateau for us.
Cons: WiFi code didn’t appear to be available, albeit 4G coverage is good. The location of breakfast wasn’t explained on arrival, however our grasp of the French language isn’t too good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building, lovely setting

Cons: Always a good place to stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast, jacuzzi, parking, staff
Cons: No airco in the family room and lots of flying insects and spiders. They said its a farm so you get companions... They have a baby bed which is good, but unfortunately no baby chair.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely , beautifully decorated "quirky" rooms! Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful gardens with lots of sunny or shady spaces to relax.
Cons: WiFi struggling despite best efforts- would be worth investing in a booster!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely place, very quiet and peaceful. Service was excellent, very friendly. Breakfast was very good too. Excellent shower and though we didn't use it they do have a hot tub.
7.9 Good
Pros: The b&b is very pretty with lots of attention to decor and a lovely garden. Bonus of a hot tub for guests to use too. We also liked the private secure carpark because we had 3 bikes on our car.
Cons: The family room was beautifully furnished but the steep ladder stairs to the mezzanine level where the kids beds were is very dangerous for children, not suitable for children under 10 I’d suggest. My husband and I slept in the kids beds and gave our children the downstairs double bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly people and you can see that this B&B has been made with a lot of passion.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are very clean, the waiter is excellent, speaks French slowly so we can understand and service is good. Food is good too.
Cons: The reception. Both times at arrival there is no smile, not expecting us, takes ages to find our booking and it is unsettling.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed great location for journey
Cons: Couldn't find a control for the TV, no toaster for my gf bread ( self provided)
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast not taken. Location excellent for our stopover before catching the Shuttle back to the UK. Views from the bedroom were excellent anf the large window gave excellent lighting to the room which can be excluded overnight using the electrically operated persianas, an unexpected luxury.
Cons: Although the information we were supplied with when making the booking did state that check in opens at 5:00pm we arrived at 4:45pm and it was completely shut up. We visited the flying club next door to the hotel/ restaurant to enquire if it was still a working hotel and were told that someone will turn up soon. Soon turned out to be 5:30pm and once a chap arrived he soon let us in, but be warned if it tells you no check in before 5:00pm then do not attempt to get into your room before this time and allow a bit extra as well.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The views were fantastic and there is a lovely old moulin too. Very comfortable and a memorable stay.
Cons: We arrived late- it might be good to have the option of a simpler menu if you don’t want the full gastronomic experience! Especially it would be good to have a more child friendly option for food.

Cons: Nothing

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was super delicious in a charming atmosphere.
Cons: If I must add something: Bathroom could have been larger.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This little gem is just of the main Val du Somme road tucked up in a hilltop near a restored windmill. The property has recently been taken over by a professional chef and the hotel is all about the food and the view from the restaurant over the Val which is amazing. The Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean and mix modern and french style. There are little touches such as a coffee machine, fresh water and little gifts of produce in the rooms. Breakfast was wonderful fresh made bread, brioche and tart au prune on the table and then a substantial array of local fresh cheeses, homemade muesli and jams and confits to suit all taste. All of this served with views out of the floor to ceiling windows. Unfortunately we were too late for dinner but other guests who had gone just for an overnight stop and dinner said it was wonderful. We will return
Cons: The bedrooms are in the eaves so can be a little warm but that is easily rectified by opening a window

Pros: Location
Cons: Overpriced, no drinking facilities in room at all, and everything an additional cost, 4 euro for 1 tea and 1 coffee, very disappointing considering heatwave
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice area, location Very warm welcome by the owners. Would recommend the owners provide extra seating for other guests, outside on their patio, as their was only one table available, which was full with other guests. Would recommend the owners provide tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.
Cons: As above

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The French type breakfasts were very generous with a good choice and well presented. We were very comfortable and our hosts, Dani and Francis were most kind, friendly and helpful. They made sure our stay was a pleasant experience.
Cons: We had no problems but access to the property via the large sliding gates could possibly present a problem for some in respect of timing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasent owners and very helpful. A suitable place for over nighting.
Cons: The parking was a bit retricted and on a steep slope. This is a guest house not a hotel.
