I can't say enough about this hotel. Staff was exceptional, the hotel was gorgeous and all for a very affordable rate.
Wouldn't change a thing!
The reception staff was wonderful. They helped us find nice family friendly restaurants, made suggestions for day trips and evening events, and organized a reasonable transfer for us. The hotel was beautiful and truly exhibited the Venetian atmosphere. The best part--it was "off the beaten path" in a quiet area, but within close walking distance to the main attractions of the city.
I enjoyed everything , from the decoration to the location and the kindness of the staff.
Everything was perfect.
The room decoration is quite pretty. The receptionist is quite helpful and passionate. As soon as we checked in, he offered all info we need.
I stayed in Al Duca Di Venezia with my mother for two nights in mid-November. It's located right next to the Natural History museum and is very close to two public transit ferry stops. The room was absolutely beautiful - very unique and luxurious decor. On top of that, the staff were absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful about sightseeing, restaurant recommendations, and general information like train times, etc. Our favorite hotel during our week in Italy.
Breakfast room was small and the breakfast itself was a little too basic - but really, not a problem.
Hotel Al Duca Di Venezia provides charming accommodation in Venice and is a short walk from Venezia Santa Lucia Railway Station. It is ideally positioned for guests wishing to sightsee in the area.
There are a range of amenities on offer to those staying at the hotel, such as a 24-hour reception, an express check-in and check-out feature and an airport shuttle. Guests are able to relax with a book in the library.
Hotel Al Duca Di Venezia has 17 traditional rooms offering all the essentials to ensure an enjoyable stay. Honeymoon suites are also available.
For guests who enjoy exploring local restaurants and cafés, there is a good selection right on the doorstep. Rialto Bridge, Piazzale Roma and Grand Canal are each within walking distance.
