I really loved this place, it was like a little apartment, very cozy, clean and great for couples (very romantic). You have to call them or email them in advance and let them know what it will be your arrival time to make sure someone is there for you. I emailed them until I got there and in 5 min someone was there to check in so it was not a big deal.
Friendliness, helpfulness and hospitality of staff, Stunning view of lemon grove and the sea from breakfast terrace Unaware of steep climb on a rocky path to get there with heavy luggage
I liked the setting, the view, the modern decor, the lovely breakfast on the terrace, and the very friendly and hospitable staff.
Modern, clean and tidy. The village of Monterosso ala Mare is also great and makes a fantastic base for exploring the Cinque Terre. The hotel/guest house is nice and contempary however the steep path and steps to hotel would make it unsuitable to anyone with limited mobility. The rooms were also smaller than I would have liked. The above are minor criticisms though and overall it is a nice place to stay.
The peace and quiet. The view of the village. Staff and especially the owner were very friendly.
The warm hospitality of the hosts was extremely memorable. They provided wonderful dinner recommendations and assisted with train timetables etc. The rooms were lovely and modern and very clean. Future guests should be aware that there is a steep series of steps to reach the hotel, however the climb is well worth the effort.
So many things ... Staff, room cleanliness, awesome breakfast served to the room ,location... Our room was a little bit small ,still, we had a sea view and we loved it so much that we stayed 3 nights.
Staff was incredible and made our stay so enjoyable. Will be back for sure.
One of the most amazing places I have stayed. Service was exceptional. Really beyond compare.
3 nights no
I am unable to answer this question as although I booked a double room at the hotel, on arrival we were hurried away to an apartment with no explanation. I did not like the fact that we booked a hotel room and instead found ourselves in an apartment.
Friendly female staff Tv footage view of sea Breakfast not on site in winter
good location, very friendely staff very ugly room no view and too expensive
Friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating.
Room #1 locates next to reception and breakfast tables, so it's hard to sleep before staff on receptions stop working and after breakfast begins.
Great location if you want to stay right in Cinque Terre. The room was clean. The kitchen seemed like it was outfitted with useless items that now one wanted.
Locanda Della Compagnia was wonderful...................the apartment was great, spacious and clean. Franca was warm, friendly, and very accomodating to us in every way possible.
The lady in charge was most helpful. A very noisy alley outside our door which was near the front door of the hotel.
Staff was friendly Did not honor the price per night in the Rick Steve's Tour Book
