Pros: We didn't opt for breakfast so can't comment on that. It's a boutique hotel but a very high standard. Really big & comfie bed in room. When we arrived (on our camino) our bags had been put in our room already - such a simple but great touch! Hot tub on the roof is great (even in the rain in our case). Staff are lovely and location is good. Would return without doubt.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: The parking lot you have to be a very good driver, but the staff help every time we wanted to leave they accompany us to help although they didn’t take out the car they gave directions on how to turn etc

Pros: Simply put, Lar Atlántica is the best accommodation that I have ever stayed at in either the US, Europe or Asia. It is more than squeaky clean; it's immaculate. When you open the door you see beauty, and when you open the bathroom door what stands out besides a clean and spotless bathroom is the shining of the silver sink faucets. It's the most comfortable of places I've ever stayed at. It all begins with Elena, her creativity, desire for perfection, her family and staff!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent position great staff car valet parked
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I didn't like the receptionist. We were told in an email to park outside the hotel once we had arrived. Vigo is a massive city with one way systems and very heavy traffic. Having to remember driving on the right hand side is difficult too. So, we arrived, but because of the heavy traffic situation we couldn't park outside the hotel as instructed. I nipped in the hotel and asked the receptionist what we should do as my husband was virtually parked in the middle of the street with other road users getting angry. She went on to tell me to park outside the hotel. I told her that there was no room but she insisted there was and pointed her finger towards the road. I went outside again to explain to my husband, yet there was no way that he could park outside the hotel as other cars were parked there. I returned to the receptionist and asked if she could take a look for herself. She was angry and I could tell she didn't want to leave her place on the reception. She told my husband to park behind the hotel instead. Vigo is a massive city and just finding the back was a nightmare. We did it in the end and went back to the hotel where she handed us a ticket for the car park. Not knowing Vigo at all we asked for directions to said car park and she gave us directions which we didn't understand. Eventually we found the car park but all the instructions were in Spanish. Pressed a button to get help as other cars were behind us, yet again getting very impatient. Understandably. It was a nightmare but eventually some attendant came along and took the card. The gates opened and we parked up. After what seemed like a long time we were given the garage card back and then had to make our way back to the hotel with our heavy suitcases. The hotel was nice. We booked a superior double room which didn't really seem that much different from an ordinary double room but there we go.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming staff. The hotel was well insulated against traffic noise. Excellent breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast could have been improved. Limited range. Location is excellent. Gym facilities are not up to expectations.

Pros: Family room had enough space. Nice location, very close the coast for a nice walk and if you will use the ferry. Also close to the central shopping area and seafood market. Breakfast was very good. Simple but good choice of local products.
Cons: The place was close to the bars around. Many drunk were too loud till dawn specially during Fridays and Saturday which you could hear from the room. Probably the hotel could improve the window insulation to lessen the noise from the outside.

Pros: Three of us on top floor with 3 single beds. Not much room left but we were only staying for one night. Good shower, clean and good location.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast is next door, but access via hotel ; nice view from balcony, comfortable spacious room, kind staff
5.8 Okay
Cons: Room was booked for 3 people. after some problems in real life and an accident only 1 person went to stay. Sadly room was an atic... for 3 people it would be so uncomfortable (even for 1 wasn't the best as the person that stayed there mentioned). last bed was so close to the roof that if someone was above 1.50 he/she couldn't even stand. Also after a short mail conference i had with a certain employee it seems that being polite wasn't their strong suit but being ironic was. Speaking Greek has nothing to do with ID number and a valid ID. Also breakfast? not worth the money sadly. PS: all that is the opinion of the person that stayed in the room. i just had a fast glimpse of the room and the breakfast and i agree with the above.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location location location plus very very clean. Highly recommend it.
Cons: I would have like stronger ac but i am spoiled. It was immaculate and location near historic district wonderful.

Cons: I liked all.
7.1 Good
Pros: Bed was very hard, uncomfortable. The Staff cleans well, but the hotel is old and near the sea, so a bit musty. Breakfast was fine, but an annoyance to pay for a second cup of coffee. The location is great for ferries to the islands, just steps away.

Strategically located on the Vía Norte, a stone’s throw from the centre, Corte Inglés department store and the city’s high street. The hotel has direct views over the estuary of Vigo, allowing the guest to discover the city through its main tourist attractions.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location, five minutes to a train station, is ideal for day trips to nearby cities. Only 15 minutes downhill to the ferryboats to the islands. This hotel is primarily a business person hotel (although we didn't see that many in a six night stay) with the typical high standards demanded, but I imagine it is a clone of every Barcelos hotel. It is nonetheless very comfortable with large rooms very comfy beds and proper lighting. The breakfast was good with a wide choice and good fresh fruit. However, if was exactly the same everyday.

Pros: very friendly staff. a bit outside the centre but bus stop closeby and big supermarket around the corner. nice cafes for breakfast or a drink opposite side of the big roundabout. enough parking capacity available when we stayed there.
7.1 Good
Pros: Renewed hotel, the negative point is that it is a bit far from the city center and that there is no restaurant around ( these are only block of flats ). We enjoyed the breakfast which was very tasty and a lot of choice. The price corresponds to the quality.
Cons: The room was a bit noisy, we could easily hear what happens in the adjoining room
6.3 Good
Pros: Not a great choice but satisfactory - not 4 star.
Cons: Had to ask for milk for my tea... I'm British!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Frendly staff, nice breackfast, confortable room, very clean.
Cons: The lift was loud, just that... The rest if the experience was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: I liked the customer service, when I complained about the noise from the lift, they changed my rooms without hesitation
Cons: Noise from the lift engine and the cleaners in the morning - my room was right next to the room they use for storage, I could hear everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, good food at fair prices. Parking easy on Friday. Next door to a huge supermarket (Alcampo, Spanish version of French Auchan),which made picnic and other shopping easy.
Cons: Only problem was a tight car park on Thursday as it is a hotel used for business travellers. Space eventually found, and we were a bit late. A small point: beware of a poorly sited door stop in the bathroom. We both suffered stubbed toes as it was just in front of invisible from the loo. Ouch!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very Clean, fast check in & out.
Cons: Staff from reception ignore you all the time unless you ask for anything. No "ola, bos dias" "ola boas noites". Remember, we are costumers until check out!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and room rates! Great value for the money even on high season.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything. The location, free parking, staff, food, fair prices and fast check in and out. I highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: I can't say what I didn't like because it was excellent.

Pros: Hospitality, room, breakfasT and tequilla
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This small hotel was staffed by a most considerate and helpful man who could not do too much for us. He told us about the parking situation and how best to use it. He was always wanting to know how he might help us. Our room was excellent and the breakfast was fine.
Cons: Driving there was awkward at first. You need to beat the oneway system, stop and get out and go to the hotel and then they will lower the bollard at the end of the road. But having done it once there were no further problems.

Eurostars Mar de Vigo - Vigo - Building
4
8.3 Excellent (3,410 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Four-star superior hotel. Its contemporary and completely sea-oriented architecture, makes of the Eurostars Ria de Vigo, along with the BEIRAMAR CONFERENCE PALACE (right next to the hotel) one of the most important architectural works of the city of Vigo. Architect César Portela, endorses the result of the architectural ensemble with his experience in emblematic buildings in Galicia. On the seafront, overlooking the Ria of Vigo and the Cíes Islands. An image in a unique environment: El Berbés. Characteristic place thanks to its fishing and port industry and its fantastic fish market; a must-see. *For all bookings of 7 or more rooms, the hotel reserves the right to apply different policies and additional supplements.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast was very poor in quality and variety. Orange juice was not 100% natural. 2 types of bread only. Croissants were terrible.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautiful. Kind staff. All cleaned up. Several options and nice schedule for breakfast. The room had eveything you need in a nice hotel.
Cons: The price was a bit high and not that fair, but I understand, it was the beggining of august.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good view to the port
Cons: Staff were unable to understand English, we tried to order room service and it took numerous tries to finally order food. Dialing the room service number, I got hung up on several times after not being able to comply in Spanish lol
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view from the superior suite where magnificent. Breakfast was also superb.
Cons: The surrounding area is a bit of a let down. However if you can see past that and don't mind walking a bit then you have some amazing restaurants +- 20min away.
4.2 Okay
Cons: They didn’t clean my room as I went out from 12:00 till 16:00 with clean my room hanging in my door room . The staff answer is that they didn’t see it . What kind of hotel is that ?
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff were very helpful and very kind. Parking on site is nice.
Cons: We booked two rooms, one room had a window that looked into the bathroom- The blinds did not close all the way. By far the worst bathroom design I have ever seen. It did make for good facebook foder and got many laughs. The other room was a handicapped bathroom with no shower curtain to keep in the water one of the guests almost slipped on the wet floor and they had to use every towel in the room to mop it up. Another epic fail in bathroom design. In addition there was mold in the bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a really good space, excelent breakfast
Cons: I didnt like to pay the parking
6.0 Good
Cons: Room is quite old and needs refurbishment
7.1 Good
Pros: Considering most of the time spent is in the Bedroom, we couldn't complain about the size and comfort of the room, in fact I dont think i have ever slept so good in a hotel so huge kudos for this. Location was great Great selection for breakfast through out their buffet - coffee was not as bad as other people have made out
Cons: Not sure why this is a 4 star hotel? The room quality yes but the rest i would say is 3 star and the reasons below will give you the reasoning for this. Gym - facilities are OK but there was no air conditioning and no water which is really poor Bedroom - No coffee making facilities and lighting could have been better as the room felt dull unless the windows were open, but if the windows were open then the room became to hot during the day Bathroom - no ventilation to take the condensation out when having a shower, so there is no point having the absolutely large mirror. Plus the mechanism when changing the hand held shower to the over head shower was pretty much stuck and would require some force to pull out Reception - Didnt advise us that on our second day that breakfast would finish the next day 1 hour earlier, we came to breakfast the next day to be greeted by a host who said it finished already 1 hour earlier - Luckily the Host (after explaining why we were late - no communication of the correct time) she let us eat breakfast, sadly though everything was cold. Host got us some coffee though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast very good and complete

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean & good location. Value for money.
Cons: We find everything ideal. I don’t like the rain.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Service and location are very good. Parking place available across the street for a fixed daly rate of 13 euros (small car).
Cons: The rooms seem a bit overpriced for the actual hotel standard. For those who may care (not my case), only Spanish-language channels available on TV. A breakfast buffet at 15 euros is also overpriced for the region. The bathrooms need a revamp; in particular the bathtub. During the check out, I asked to have a pdf version of the invoice mailed to me: never received it.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Parking was an issue

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic room and views from the 9th floor. Balcony was fabulous surprise. Very good buffet breakfast
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was great and the room was clean .
Cons: I couldn't alter the air conditioning to below 21 degrees despite requesting a room with fully functioning air conditioning.. Also the receptionist didn't know the best location to begin the Camino walk. I would have thought this ahould have been easy for a local
7.9 Good
Pros: The location is excellent - very central and near both train stations. Rooms are small, but comfortable and clean.
Cons: Breakfast was a huge disappointment. Horrible coffee from a machine, broken toaster for the bread, eggs that had been sitting in a warmer for far too long and only one staff member on duty who does not collect your empty plates from your table. Only cleans up tables after people have left. We were there for 4 breakfasts and experienced that each day. Very disappointing. Also, there is nowhere to sit in your room and no bar or lounge to sit in either. They close and lock the door to the restaurant in between meals.
7.5 Good
Cons: Breakfast is poor. Coffee is terrible and pan with tomato a joke.
