Great place, staff were enormously helpful and kind
We took a break from hiking the Camino Del Norte and picked the Parador as a location for a rest day. The hotel, grounds, restaurant and employees were all excellent! The front desk clerks were extremely helpful as was the cleaning staff. All were very nice and friendly. My wife and I had the Pilgrims Menu for lunch at the restaurant in the Tower. The food was first class and absolutely delicious. The Chef, Angel Campos, came out to the dining room and met us, asking about our Camino. We learned he has walked several Caminos himself. We also learned that Angel’s son was our waiter. We were fortunate to have both of them helping and serving us the meal! We can’t say enough good things about the Parador!
Great situation. Really liked the ante-room in the tower. The bar and restaurant were very atmospheric. Welcoming staff.
Very happy with everything
Perfect place to spend a rainy rest day along the Camino. Very spacious, I was able to spread out across several salons and settings.
Lumpy bed, poor lighting in the room and over-bright lighting in the restaurant. Attention to detail for a Parador was poor. It would take very little effort and cost nothing to simply straighten the light shades.
The Hotel had a historic tower attached with a bar restaurant at the bottom and rooms upstairs. The hotel overall was sensational.
Leaving it was great.
