Great staff. Very helpfull. Strange smell in hallway outside the room.
Breakfast was excellent. Location was also very good. No drinks served at the bar area.
the big rooms, the seperate door in the hotel room, so your room didn't open straight out on to the corridor. the pool on top of the hotel outside was dirty and cold. the toilet smelled of urine. the showed leaked all over the floor and we had to use our towels to keep mopping the water up.
Comfortable rooms. Swimming pool area not so big and only a few beds.
It was clean, comfortable and only one tram station away from Piazza Garibaldi. Good connection to the railway station and very close to the Ligne d'Azur bus ( 1 euro trip to Monaco, Cannes, Menton, Antibe etc). We spent the first night in a standard double room even though we had paid for a superior one, because they were all booked up; that was a little confusing since we had made our reservation and paid for a superior double room three months prior to our arrival... But they change our room the very next day and it was ok.
Room was a comfortable size Breakfast should be included in the price
Third visit to this hotel, very good value for money....better than many 4 star in Nice. Close to trams/trains and easy walking to Old Nice......
Comfortable accomodation, location good;
there was only 2 lifts available and one was down. To make matters worse, the hotel was busy. Also there was some roadworks outside the hotel and there was no parking so we had to pay for parking ourselves
Good location for the Acropolis convention centre. Roadworks outside the hotel, location on a very busy road. Room was very very basic.
our room was facing the mediterrania, so beautiful. it is so close to restaurants in town and shopping.loved going to the casino after dinner. it was so clean and spacious (our room).
convenience to activities and shopping Bedroom carpets not properly hoovered, air con.not perceptily effective.
Large spacious room, robes, slippers, fabulous bath There was no blackout curtain... Luckily I brought an eye mask!
It was right on the beach front and a short walk to the two tour buses for Nice. The staff was very friendly, spoke many languages besides French, room service was excellent and very pleasant. No
Location close to the sea front The Pool was very small and the sunning area was very small and could only take a small number of sunbathers - we had to instead use the private beach which cost 34 Euros
Friendliness and courtesy of staff None
staff, service, breakfast, location - excellent, by the sea, good shopping, easy to get to railway station, old city, shopping streets by walk
The majority of your staff could speak english very well. and they were always very friendly and professional particularily Olivier the concierge
Over all a great experience since arrival, very good complementary high speed wireless internet , great breakfast and wonderful bath and shower along with quality interior, worth every cent.
Firstly the location was fantastic, 10mins from the airport and 10 min walk from the old town. Our room was beautiful and big with a big balcony over looking the sea. Could'nt fault it.
Wonderful hotel. Excellent quality and service. Centrally located.
Bar and lounge facilities
The room was very good, and the proximity to Nice Airport was convenient. We were pleased with the accommodation standard, and the cost was very reasonable.
Tea and coffee with teapot in my room!
Proximity to airport. My fourth consecutive annual visit. Why were the only two English languagel TV channels, CNN and BBC both eliminated? What happenned to the snacks that in previous years were delivered to our door? What happenned to the paperback books that were previously available for Hotel guests in the lobby? Quite dissapointed.
not enough shuttle bus service to/from the Nice Airport
requested a non smoking room, when we booked some months ago....we were given a smoking room...when we complained we were told that a n/s room was not available!
Location and price Rooms small and basic. Air conditioning virtually useless. Noisy road outside. And our no smoking room smelt of smoke (and there was a cigarette burn on the floor to prove it). Ok for 1 night maximum.
Convenience to airport - reasonably close to public transport
The rooms were well maintained with very clean bathrooms. Had someone smoking in the room next door (had his window opened) and the smell still came into our room. When I mentioned it to the front desk they told me they were unable to do anything about it.
being able to book a taxi to go to the heart of neice.
convenience of location and courtesy of hotel staff
A good hotel at a reasonable price, a decent location, a tram line nearby, 5 minutes walk to the old town, right across the street from the Convention Centre, 5 minutes to the central bus station, 10 minutes walk to a railway station (Nice-Riquier, not the main station Nice-Ville, the latter nevertheless can be easily reached by tram). The main attractive feature is that the rooms have kitchenettes, which is a great money saver (I failed to find a place to eat in Nice which would charge less than 15 Euro for a simple meal). Monoprix and Carrefour are nearby. The stuff is OK, all speak English to a degree (some speak quite good English in fact). Wi-Fi and air conditioning in rooms. The second-hand smoke from people smoking on balconies!!! Especially at nights!!! The bathroom was really small, but it is quite common in Europe. The extra pillows were provided but only on the 2nd day (the reception does not have them, one needs to ask the cleaning stuff in the morning).
The hotel is nice a clean and surprisingly quiet at night. It is situated right at the Acropolis conference center. Rooms are equipped with modern Air conditioners. Janitors are rather rude and since there is no way to prevent the door from unlocking from the outside expect some surprise guest in your room knocking on your shower asking when you leave so that they can clean.
The rooms are very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful Pption for house keeping to extend beyond mornings. I asked for an extra pillow in the night but was told by the staff that they do not keep pillows and I should have asked for it in the morning. Basic amendities like pillows, toothbrushes etc should be kept within the hotel
Well appointed for conferences at the Acropolis Conference Centre. Breakfast room small when outside area can't be used in the winter.
The staff were helpful and assisted me with directions and advice on getting around Nice. The breakfast is quite poor. The breakfast room is inadequate.
convenience of the location, staffed 7x24 (not all apartments do that). They have put air conditioning units in all the room so some of the previous comments no longer apply stuffness and smell in the hallway
Good Location, crean room and friendly staff, I really enjoyed staying there.. If I go to Nice again, I will stay there.. But this hotel doesn't have hair dry.. I didn't know that, also nowaday they repaired some part of hotel, so in the morning so noisy...
A great family hotel, located right on the beach. Beautiful room, pool and a great breakfast. All hotel rooms have a great view onto the beach. Would stay there again.
the hotel was very central the cleaning service was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly we stayed in a twin room my bed was very hard and was only a put up bed the room also was very small
its location It was kind of old and worn out. An d you had to boil your eggs yourself in the morning buffet
Very helpful staff, comfortable beds, Some noise from leisure centre next to hotel.
Good hotel, friendly staff Rooms little to small
Nice staff, average performance was very good for the price we paid for. Room was a bit old, and would need some refreshing...
The location walking distance to the beach. Our room was beside the elevator, very noisy. And there was hair on the bathroom floor. Would need some renovations
Excellent staff. Breakfast was optional. They did not charge me for parking. 12 minute drive to Monte Carlo.
Personals are best of the best!
From the moment we were greeted at reception we felt completely at home. On entering our rooms we were impressed by the spaciousness - the fact you had a foyer which could be closed off so when answering the door the bedroom was not visible. Rooms had a balcony and good ventilation in the bathroom as most places do not have any windows that open to allow fresh air. Breakfast was included in the cost so an added bonus. The area was easy to get around and bus & train with easy walking distance. In fact we caught the bus into Nice for the day E1 each trip. Also caught the train into Ventimiglia (Italy) for E5-20, train back to Monaco E3-80 each and then bus back E1 each. What a fantastic way to get around and so cheap! Definitely recommend.
The room (double with park/pool view) was comfortable, spacious and clean. The hotel and pool was clean and the staff were friendly. It was peaceful and a great place to relax, and the location of the hotel is excellent with great bus and train links to Nice, Monacco and Eze. Would like to see fresh fruit as an option at breakfast. Would also like to see tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.
Rooms were very modern, stylish, and clean and the hotel provided free airport pick-up service. Location is good with easy access to Promenade des Englais. Nothing
the location close to the airport and the shuttle service the location away from any restaurant
nice luxury room
Location - near airport Shuttle to airport
The bath tub! The duvet was too heavy for sleeping. A lighter blanket should be provided. Maybe it was and I didn't find it. The room was spacious and many extra services were provided. I was only there for 7 hours so I didn't get to see the hotel in the day. I would stay there again while transiting to the airport.
Excellent hotel. Very comfortable room with all the amenities. Front desk staff were most helpful. No
Room was nice, plenty of space compared to normal hotel room. It was also good to have microwave owen and fridge. Good for travelling with kids. There was separate fee for the brekafast. Breakfast was not the best I have had, it was almost like "pick-up the food from fridge" style. Also better driving instructions from airport needed.
OK hotell close to airport
Great room - well appointed. Comfy bed. Excellent bathroom. The gastrobar experience - ready meals to warm up in your room microwave is not exactly the essence of France.
Friendly staff, English speaking..entertainment system was very good.. Tried to check in bit early instead of 1400 hours which I was not allowed
Folks, this is a clean no frills hotel with everything you need and nothing you don't. Paid $75 a night. The location is the best there can be, right next to the old town and right next to all the busses by the port, which you'll need to get around the riviera. Rooms are clean, and a decent breakfast is included.
only the room was nice the entrance is terrible - dirty ;the lifts are the same - dirty, the coridors - extremely dirty with spots from unknown genesis , next time they have to pay me to stay there
Staff efficiency and helpfullness above anything else
The location was the best thing about the hotel. It did have its own bar which was good. The room was not superb but suitable for our one night stay. Although the room was ok, when we exited the lift at our floor we stepped into a horrible passageway which had not been decorated for years and the rooms there looked the same. Fortunately i had opted for a different room. It was still a shock having to see that and walk through there on first arriving. This half of the hotel is in desperate need of refirbing.
Friendly, helpful staff, excellent location. However, was bitten badly on the forth day of my stay by insects. more then 10 bites. Doctor has certified that they were bed bugs. Despite the doctors letter the owner - Mr Gaucher has refused to compensate on the grounds he does not believe they were bed bugs. Because he did not find any. (if he had used a microscope, he would have been much more successful in locating them). The other point, once was given the key from someone else's room in error, where two guys lived. Security is not their strongest point.
There was nothing I liked about the Artemis The hotel was very depressing . We only had a standard room but the balcony rail was unsafe. The corridors were were very shabby and un cared for. The breakfast was very bad value for money. the staff except one lady were very very unhelpful. The hotel was really geared up for coach parties.
Visited Monte Carlo my wife had her shawl stolen
no staff 70% of time, all were restorating rooms. Wireless doesn't work, even at reception, they gave me cable at reception desk, I could check my e-mails only.
Having a room with a terrace and a view. Also the room itself was grand and the ensuite.also the air conditioning worked nicely 1. There were no facilities in the room for making a cup of tea or coffee. 2. the corridors and lifts were in atrocious condition. 3. No effort was made to make the terrace a pleasant place to be eg no table.
The staff was helpful. Breakfast was basic, but good enough. Everything inside is old and needs urgent renovation. Beds, matraces were uncomfortable, sink broken and fixed with glue.
close to town center and beach Superior rooms are very noisy since they face the train station, the whole building needs a lot of work. Standard rooms are old and needs renewal. Official category is misleading. Some staff does not even understand English at all. Breakfast is lousy.
We wish we had known that it was miles from anywhere and we wish the lady at reception could have warned us that we would not be able to hail a cab once out. We were walking in the middle of nowhere looking for food on Monday night for what was possibly about an hour - nightmare. The restaurant was not open on Monday night when we stayed and no food available. I booked the hotel because it had a pool but the children were shocked that it was very small. However, we liked the pleasant vegetation and it was nice to be slightly above the town. The breakfast was great and the bar and pool surround was very nice. The room was clean and there was a pleasant and restful view. It was good value for money and, had we known how far away we were from Nice centre then all would have been well. We did find a nice restaurant after about an hour's walk.
Some room interiors were broken and fixed by tape! TV control was never worked (claimed and changed 5times! very superficial service). Many hairs on quilt.
Very great price for a modern upscale type of hotel. Room was small but was remodelled and new, The hotle ground were chanrming with a coy pond and swimming pool. Directions to the hotel from the airport where very confusing. It took us a few misteps before we could find it. Although parking is free, there was limited space.
Good location, very nice garden, good personel. no comment
Nice hotel with a nice lay-out. Reasonably close to seaside. Very good breakfast. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant at night as it was preebooked for a function
We have been staying in this hotel only for one short night. We've arrived late in the evening and depart earliry in the morning. The room was small but clean and nice, we had small terasse with nice view as well. We had not took breakfast and did not taste the food in the restaurant. I think it's good hotel for short staying. Not very easy to find as it situated next to the rails and autoroute, but in quiete area. No problems.
A quiet location, easy access to Nice, Good Pool The hairdryer didnot work, i had to report it twice before being offered to dry my hair in another room, there was no toilet paper so again we had to ask to which the receptionist said to use the toilets in the foyer, from the look on my face he went to get a roll.
Beautiful scenery and gardens.
Excellent food. We had barbecue in evening and outstandingly good continental breakfast in the morning. Curtain railwas broken. Room rather small but quite satisfactory.
Apogia hotel is located close to the center of Nice, 5 min walk away from the Acropolis Congress Center, nice breakfast, polite and friendly personnel Bad quality of the TV picture. But it's in my room only (#518) as far as I know.
The hotel is not far from the train station and close to the tram. The hotel is too expensive for what you get. The hotel is very old, the bathroom was falling apart, the area is far from every interesting thing. Based on my experience the night there should cost less than 60 euros.
The location was good for the conference center, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was adequate. The bathrooms were dated.
room wasnt clean, very expensive but not equal with what u get for that money, a am very dissapointed
All the staff at the reception were good professionals and very helpful. One was exceptional. My comments were taken into consideration without any question. The bar at night could be more welcoming. Music and some sort of welcome (There was rarely someone at the bar, maybe the receptionist performs both functions?)
Nicely situated to have as a base when visiting Nice and Monaco being just a short walk to Nice Port and 20 minute drive from Monaco. If you are travelling to the hotel by car be sure to reserve a space in the hotel underground car park when you book as parking around the hotel at street level is very overcrowded. All in all a good hotel, well priced and located. Lack of tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
Close to old town. Not too far from beach.Elevator. Great pastry shops nearby. Charges for everything - wifi, even safe. Only one outlet even in triplet.
Great location across the road from the comference centre. It had good access to transport and was walking distance to the touristy areas of Nice.. A plus point was the multi lingual staff and many bars and restaurants just outside.
very good basic hotel
I stayed here a couple of times for conferences at the Acropolis Conference Center. This hotel is about 1/2 block from the entrance, so it is very convenient for weary conference attendees. Access to the wifi network is pretty pricey. Many hotels offer this service free and it would be nice if this hotel followed suit. Travelers should be aware that the rooms in this hotel are very small. The elevator is between floors, so you must be able to move your luggage at least 1/2 flight by yourself.
50 yards from conference centre lack of a safe in hotel room
Location, room size, staff interaction Old facility, outdated bathroom, old tv
central position, easy to get to the center by foot or by pubblic transport the room is very noisy, the moquettes very dirty and the staff unfriendly. we found hair of other people in our towel and the general clean was insufficient
Across the Acropolis conference center, one block from public transporation elevator does not run to actual floors but to mezzanines.
I choosen it because it's if front of acropolis meeting centre
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. It is really handy for the Acropolis exhibition centre: almost opposite.
3 star hotel for price of 2 star hotel in Nice. None.
Service was very good, with exception of bar staff The bedroom was extremely small
the new room allocated. after complaining. the room booked was so small we had to put our luggage in the toilett.the view was of the streeton to the railway. when we complain and say that we would check out immediatly they inform us that the 2 nights booked through book.com were taken out of our credit card we complain ask to see a manager they finally put us in a lovely room . great facility for this hotel very poor staff for a 4 stars.
quiet setting, very nice swimming pool area, room facilities were as I expected, reasonably helpful staff my room was very small and in my opinion not adequate for 2 guests, sea view was side seaview and only if you twisted your neck round to see it. Service wasn't as slick as other similiar 4/5 star hotels that I regularly stay in, this relates to waiter service of poolside drinks (none) and I also waited 45mins in lounge and nobody asked me if I wanted tea/ coffee/ drink on my last morning.
the staff, the swimming pool... the views and of course the comfort of rooms.
The location, value, and staff are terrific. We would highly recommend it for a romantic getaway.
Excelent location, impecable service. One of the great things about the hotel is the pool and gardens. Restaurant and bar a little pricey.
Excellent service; great location; value for money compared with other hotels and services/quality offered
Beautiful Hotel a unigue French experience None
Upon arrival, the concierge came outside to meet us and take our bags from our car, and after we checked in the front desk clerk showed us the hotel and where everything was, to include showing us to our room. The area of the city is perfect and the hotel was very luxurious. I would stay there again! The restaurant in the hotel did not have a very big dinner menu, and it seemed too small.
Our room was upgraded for no extra cost I missed the possibility to make tea or coffee in the room
Was upgraded on arrival to a renovated room. Room was lovely. The location of this hotel is excellent- minutes to the beach, market, etc, beside the shops and has the tram in front. Has the rooftop bar has best views in Nice.
The constant maid service became annoying. Even with the do not disturb sign on the door we were disturbed. The first morning we woke up to the maid walking in to our room. Though we appreciate they are trying to do their job, we were on holiday and felt like we were not allowed to relax in our hotel room.
The location. The air circulation in the room was not very good. Therefore, it smelt sort of rotten (from the humidity).
Nice environment, great location and great value of money. The room was a bit small but very clean and with modern decoration. Overall the best of this hotel is the location which is ideal and the value of money comparing to the services and the facilities which they provide.
Excellent location, very central; pleasant hotel and staff small, fairly dark room; small towels in bathroom; high payment to use internet
i liked the location which is in the heart of the city, close from the old town, shopping area, resturants and cafe, as well as the beach and massena square.
Not a lot Really only a 2 star
Excellent location .Easy to access. Breakfast charge 20EUR/person! plus expensive internet charge. Usually at that room price, internet is free of charge.
Lovely room/decor attention to detail. Balcony superb Small room. Party on top floor was very noisy until after 3am. No hot water or air con on last day.
The Hotel was very close to the old Town and Harbour. The staff were also very helpful The room was very small. It was also meant to be non smoking but our floor stank of cigarettes
good location, good price good staff
Breakfast was great - A+++. Staff was helpful as well. Rooms are a bit small, no radiator in the bathroom, bad sound isolation
Very nice budget hotel with clean room (although very small) and friendly hotel staff. The location is good--about 15 minutes walk to the beach (nice fountains, gardens along the way so you won't be bored), and 5 minutes walk to the bus station, where you can easily take the bus to the Nice airport. Sound proof is not good.
Good location, friendly staff, cosy room
The breakfast was really good!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed a third night but stayed in a different room. The room was simple and clean. I suggest a complete airing of the room between guests. Other than that, we did enjoy our stay and the central location was wonderful.
Vicinity of the city center, free internet access, comfortable room, kettle in the room, breakfast The breakfast price is a bit higher than in other similar hotels. I do not think that the stairways would be enough in the case of a real evacuation - it is very steep, narrow and people would hurt each other on the spiral stairs. Just think that the building has 8 levels. I did not find this safe.
Easy access to local bus station. Near to the old town Rooms a little small
NOthing really Size of room, quality of decor - old and poor, no restaurant or bar , very noisy as doors did not even come to the bottom of the door frame - basically an awful place to have to stay
Location The noise from the road in a sea view room The breakfast far too expensive
The hotel staff were very nice and provided lots of advice on how to move around, what to visit etc. Room was very clean. There is no carpet and it is all white tile which made it look very bright and clean. The sea view and sunrise in the morning is worth every penny spent. Compared to many of the hotels we visited in France this was the best overall experience.
The hotel is in a superb position on the seafront, the staff are extremely courteous and efficient. Furnished very well in a beautiful French style and very clean.
Nice place, nice staff
Overall style of the hotel and its superb location No parking - in a very busy and complex town
small bathroom without practical furniture!
Staff was really friendly
Renovated rooms on the 5th floor are fabulous, soundproofing is great. Location is excellent, staff is well trained and friendly.
Staff were friendly, the room was spacious and the location was perfect.
I like the location the staff very not helpful at all ,had to ask 5 times at breakfast for hot water in order to have tea
Staff most helpful
this was my second time to stay at park inn and I would recommend it, very close to nice airport and provide shuttle
The reception staff was fine. However, the staff in the restaurant was not as good. They were not very polite.
Very convenient for airport
Location to airport. Acces to check in by car. No elevator from garage to handle luggage.
Pool, Rooms comfortable Staff unfriendly. 4star hotel expect teamaking equipment plus fridge in room.
When we arrived there was only one person dealing with check-ins, guest problems and answering the phone - so it took some time to get to our room, which we couldn't get into because the key didn't work. Once we finally got into the room the cot we had ordered wasn't there so we had to wait for that to be brought up too.
I liked the courteous service and the convenience to the airport.
The hotel is old hotel.Air condistion very bad.It is always hot.i told the hotil but do nothing. Air condistion.
Maybe! Same as above
helpful and friendly hotel staff, especially transfeer and at the restaurant/bar
there was only one member of the staff wich was really helpfull and ready to give any help..all the others weren't really willing to be nice with the customers location first...and that would be already enough..but also the quality of the service and a sometimes really unpleasant staff.
Free shuttle to A/P - pretty good price comparatively speaking. Cute beach club for 10 E pp to use. Some okay restaurants along the beach. Terrible location if you want to walk out and explore. You must taxi (expensive) or bus (long walk to station) to get to sights in Old Nice.
Very nice staff, centrally situated hotel, very good breakfast, nice room, very good price. From the airport take bus 23. (the station is at 5 minute to walk)
Close to the train station for our early morning departure time.
Having the choice of a studio was good Little bit far from old part of Nice to make easy walking for an older member of group.
good location to shopping and tram when considering the cost there is nothing to complain about
hotel staff, rooms were clean, right now there is a lot of construction work for tram line laying going on in avenue massaena (excuse my french!!) . and once that is done, this hotel will be very very well connected via tram thru one of the biggest roads in nice and directly to the beach. absolutely none!
Service by the staff Small rooms ' without air condition
Excellent staff, quite small but very clean rooms. The price was very good for the services offered. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the city center by foot. There is also a tram nearby, which gets you to the city center very fast.
close to railwaystation no airco
The hotel is very close to railway and tram station, 10 min walk to central square. They give you to choice of 2 rooms, I choose one on the last floor without any view, but I have read reviews about noise from the front rooms and decided to stay on the roof room and it was bigger in size. Room was very clean and reception staff was very friendly. There was some noise from the working generator on the 5th floor during the day, but at night it was silent
Staff was very friendly, clean rooms, good location, good value for the cheap price,..
