I liked mostly the people. Yes
Car park, shoe shine tissue, breakfast well organized The fact that your staff enter my room while I was breakfasting, removing the tows too early...
Friendly staff and good basic cuisisne Smokey atmosphere
Friendly and helpfull hotel staff. English no problem. Decent budget hotel for short stays. Hotel room is a bit small but sufficient for short stays.
friendly staff who were understanding about my limited French, although I did use as much French as I could!
It was cheap and close to where I was working. Nothing. It suited me perfectly.
Friendliness of the staff Sink did not drain; food was terrible--canned green beans and a rancid taste to the chicken dish. Not at all up to the standard for French food from any type of establishment.
Close to motorway so convenient for overnight stay on long journey Rooms very basic and no evening meals available. Very cheap but like EasyJet or Ryan Air, very basic.
Room smelt off smoke. Bathroom was tiny.
We got there at around 11 PM, tried to check in, the automated machine didn't accept any of our card. It was like 40 F outside, two kids crying, 6-7 luggages. We gave the price of the room to the security guy so he let us in. than the room was very very disappointed, small, cigarette smell, the blankets didn't seem clean so we stayed in our clothes during the night.
Due to the design of its building it is somewhat noisy at night. It is not the place for a real early night.
I have problem with my credit card, your maschine didn't read my card and there is no help, nobody can help me, and that is very big problem. What pepole can do when your maschine didnt read card which is 100 % good and work in other card maschine. Watch out for this problem !!!
Quick check in no soap in the bathroom
As we arrived in the night, we had to pay in the automatic payment machine outside, which wouldn't accept any of our group's credit cards. We luckily found a security guard who let us in after paying him cash for the price of our rooms.
The room had an overhead bed which I did not like and I banged my head on the support as there wasn't enough room and the power didn't work in the morning so I couldn't dry my hair
I was just passing throug, and it was close to the highway The uppersheet was to narrow, and I don´t like sleeping with/touching the blanket. Dosn´t seem too clean
Hotel very clean, but too large.
Good plain accommodation, with everything there that you need. Not luxurious but then the price was reasonable. The food was not good. We didnt try the exspensive restaurant as the food at the buffet wasnt great.
The overall looks and environment of the hotel The very expensive breakfast
The breakfast was overpriced and cold
Very good restaurant Services e.g. spa, golf, were 'add-on i.e. hotel did not offer a package service
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was functional Institutional feel, noisy air handling equipment and no access to local town.
great rooms, very clean, so quiet.good breakfast Big Hotel
A marvellous location, excellent comfort and services, reasonable rate, nice wellness center, excellent breakfast and very friendly staff.
We went to Dolce Chantilly to get away and have a break, to relax and unwind. Exactly what we achieved. When we previously stayed at the hotel they had a buffet dinner on in L'Etoile Restaurant whichwe would have liked to have seen on again.
Very friendly and efficient without being obtrusive Very annoying being woken up by greenkeeper at 6 am outside window mowing golf course with noisy machine. Too early to wake guests in my opinion. He should do far side of course away from hotel first. I would recommend hotel but would warn people about noisy golf course maintenance
The hotel staff was extremely friendly and cooperative NA
Hotel staff were very friendly although not all of them in the restaurant/bar spoke English which made things a bit more difficult
Not too far from CDG and better than the chain hotels at this airport.
staff and ambience
Setting and building were beautiful, staff very courteous, proximity to airport without airport prices, room was very nice and clean, beds comfortable. We can find nothing poor to say about the building, staff and setting. The meal, although tasty and with a nice presentation was a little sparse and the wine portions a little light. The second glass of wine was particularly light and was poured at the table by the waiter into the same glass rather than brought in a fresh glass from the bar.
Food in bar not hot enough. Menu a bit narrow and exotic.
Secure, quiet and well maintained hotel that is ver convienent to Charles DeGaulle Airport in Paris. I am sorry that I did not plan for more time to spend at the location. Absolutely no complaints.
Convenient to C.D.g airport but much classier than the usual airport hotels. Currently there are renovations taking place but they did not detract from the luxurious accomodation and although my evening meal was quite expensive it was worth every cent.
entironment is very good, room is clean. Silence. Breakfast is more better than the other hotel. No
Nothing at all Only 1 small towel per person in room. Curtains were not properly fixed to rail. Linen was lying on the floor just outside our room on arrival and still there on departure. Room was definitely in need of remodelling.
The staff was friendly and the accomodaton met our requirements. The otel was well placed for visits to local attractions.
Even though it was near highway, it was quiet at night.
hospitality and service
It's very good hotel. It will be good, if possible to change\midify booking online (by internet), for example see reservation and modify reservation forms in www.hertz.com. After my booking online I haven't receiveâ an email with my booking information...
good family sized room for 2 adults and 2 children @ good price. We enjoyed our breakfast. Check in and out was easy and quick. noisy at times, situated next to train line.
Nothing Evening meal was ok but breakfast was very poor. rooms basic but comfortable.
Good breakfast, nice and clean accommodation Only one pillow supplied and was uncomfortable the first night until I was able to ask for extra pillows the next day. The shower and toilet was small and access to the shower was difficult for my large husband.
Staff good, good breakfast for the price, bed comfortable and room was a good size. Although on main road noise from road was not bad due to good quality double glazed windows
The staff has been very professional and I apreciated the quality of the service and the comfort of the bedroom (bed and bathroom). It's the best IBIS hotel without hesitation I have seen. Nothing at all
The owner of this establishment went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasurable. She arranged a time in the morning for our gourmet breakfast of fresh pastries, yogurt, quality coffee, orange juice, breads and cheese. She was always available to provide local information and suggestions; even to arrange a booking for dinner. The property contains an eclectic collection of art that adorn the very tastefully decorated rooms which reflect the period of the building and surrounding architecture. Speaking of the architecture, this establishment is located in the heart of the most picturesque French village you could imagine. Right next to one of the 13th century churches, it has immediate access to bakeries, delicatessens, restaurants and a town marketplace that runs twice a week. The breakfast could have included a little fresh fruit.
The staff were very good. I arrived at 2150 and dinner finished at 2200. I was told that I could still check into my room, stow my lugage etc and still have a meal if I wanted one from the non a la carte menu.
Yours was the only hotel we visited in three weeks in France with tea and coffee facilities in the room - always welcome! Well presented Buffet too Perhaps a more obvious signage for the hotel -
Location for the parc asterix site. Price was good compared to uk hotel Eating dinner was not a good experience, orders were wrong and when they did get it right, 10 minutes later they realised they had run out of one dish! Bill was a complete cock up.
The rooms were clean and an extra bed in the room accomodated a child. Free Wifi was great for the teenagers. Rooms were serviced with clean towels left every day. Buffet breakfast was good, plenty of variety. Restaurant food was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Paper cups for tea and coffee. Although rooms accomodated 3 only 2 cups and 2 of the small individual milk cartons were left each day each day.
no nonsense, just what we need
The restaurant was above average - quite good. Staff was helpful with a small problem. Location near and good access to DeGaulle airport was very helpful. Senlis is an attractive and historic city.
Although we arrived just after the restaurant had closed, they held a table for us so that we could eat after a long journey. The staff were very friendly, and really seemed to enjoy their job. No. It was excellent value for money.
I liked the chalet style of room with own front door. food was good value and excellent. Pet dog was welcome. Can't think of anything important.
The hotel was very handy for Parc Asterix and in the middle of Chantilly, near restaurants and the Chateux
It was within walking distance of Chanitlly racecourse Tried to call reception but no one ever answered the phone!
Receptionist was friendly and helpful The decor looks and smells old, with badly lit corridors which are unpleasant. The TV was a portable, about 10 years old, with poor reception - strange, considering the 3 satellite dishes outside the window :-((
no breakfast included in the rate of the room
The location was good, very comfortable room, quick lift, interesting reception area, light and airy breakfast room. Nice, soft water in bathroom. We stayed in August when many staff possibly on holiday. But the gardens looked neglected. Flowers and lawns in the town much better looked after. One out of three lights in the bedroom did not work. We expected housekeeping to put right - but not done. Towels rather thin - not worn out but just of poor quality. Soap could easily be better. Almost too small to get hold of and no perfume at all. A sign (small card in the bathroom) to say 'unperfumed soap available from reception' would enable the majority of us to have a small, hotel-size tablet of Roger and Gallet soap or Bronnley ( who make soap for Harrods I think, from Brackley, UK) and enjoy using.Breakfast was all right but uninteresting..Hotel's Indian restaurant was not good at all!
the location of this hotel is good easy access to all of chantilly chateaux race course restaurants bars museum breakfast too pricey shower curtain was missing in one of our rooms asked for one but it did not arrive
very good location near to town centre and chateau, close to station and only 25mins from Paris Gare du Nord etc. Fine hotel, but I don't think you should have to pay for out-door car-parking at back of the hotel, especially at weekends.
Efficient and well-run. Was happy to re-book for a return overnight stop.
Large, clean, well appointed rooms No bar
quick check-in, friendly front-desk at 9:30 already no croissants / toast. breakfast not good value for money.
Excellent public rooms, customer care and restaurant service Dated room (I know it's an historic building but the facilities could be freshened up)
Hotel clean staff very helpfull and friendly rooms large and comfortable good food tea and coffee expensive So very disapointed to find it was a modern hotel and not a chateau we were staying in.expected to be in a chateau not in the grounds of a chateau
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds were large and the gym was well equipped. The breakfast was good. Our experience in the restaurant was dismal. The manager was very rude and abrupt. We wanted to walk out but were starving and the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. When the food arrived ( we ordered 3 courses) it was not good at all. We were so disappointed. .
Good location, quite athmosphere, polite staff Seemd it was little cold in the room, the corridor should be renewed
The service and the variety of activities available.
pleasant helpful room cleaners (poor front desk and maitres d') .good swimming pool compared to many others in similar sized hotels . Good breakfast Absolutely awful design of 'modern' hotel attached to small chateau.Horrid mismatched souless interior fit out. Bare walls in bedroom-( no pictures/photographs)Carpet pattern and bedroom layout reminded me of a correctional institution. All floors looked the same so easy to get mixed up as to what floor you are on.Souless restaurant . Was unable to eat in restaurant on one of the 2 nights of our stay as Maitre D' and front reception staff said they were booked out although dining room only had about 2/3 of the tables set for dinner. Potential guests should be made aware that they may not be able to eat dinner in dinning room in spite of the fact they are staying in the hotel! No really easy alternative for having dinner close to the hotel
We stayed in one of the corner rooms, which was lovely and bright and tastefully decorated. Our 9-year old daughter was with us, and there was no problem getting an additional bed in the room. We arrived fairly late and ordered room service. This was probably one of the best burgers that i have ever had, and excellent value for money. Breakfast was delicious as well, and the service very friendly. We loved the grounds and the beautiful swimming pool. Unfortunately it wasn't warm enough for us to have breakfast outside, but this would have been lovely. We will definitely come back when we travel again to France. The restaurant and bar area lacked atmosphere. I also thought that more could be done to make the stay more family-friendly, with for example a play area outside. As it is this hotel is very much a luxury business hotel. It does not really cater to families or to romantic getaways. Having said that, we really enjoyed our stay.
The breakfasts and the spa area. Jogging and walking in the beauitful grounds was great. Also free to use tennis courts
Wonderful hotel within lovely grounds. Excellent restaurant. Very helpful staff.
Beautiful Chateau in charming Chantilly area! Extra special with the golden leaves of autumn! You must look around their grounds. Whilst superb quality, the restaurant was pricey...
the bed rooms we did not see a lounge only the bar
location, food They gave us a twin not a double - no champagne on arrival.
A grand chateau hotel with good facilities in an excellent location. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which also helped us enjoy our stay. The service in the dining room did not match that of the rest of the hotel or the standard of the food it served, which deserved better.
Loverly setting good restaurant and swimming pool. 5pm check in not too good considering check out is 12 noon.
Very nice location and setting. The main building is historically interesting. The staff were friendly, and the room (in the main building)was large and comfortable, with the exception of some rather strange designer chairs. Nothing was quite as it seemed. The bar was luxuriously appointed, with a pleasant outdoor area, but service was intermittent - someone turned up every now and then to have a look. Bar prices are extremely high - would have been ok if the service had matched them. The (free) Wi-Fi wasn't working when we arrived, and it came as a surprise to the staff when it reappeared the next (Sunday) morning. There was a weird emphasis on security - a barrier at the main entrance when we returned to the hotel at about 9.30 pm, with one security man to take the car registration number, and another in the reception area. Perhaps a VIP was dining. For the room price, air-conditioning might have been expected, but was absent.
The front desk staff was impeccable. The bar staff lacked personality and the menu left much to be desired. The room was disappointing as there was no character associated with the rest of the hotel.
Despite being very busy with conferences, the staff and kitchen performed at a high standard. Cuisine is definitely worth a Michelin star - we had a first class menu with all dishes well prepared and presented - and the prices for fine wines are as reasonable as they may be in France. Lovely ground, quiet, and quite efficient staff. For us a far more pleasant alternative to fighting the traffic from Paris en route to an early flight from CDG. Staff generously upgraded us. It seems a bit understaffed; this feeling may relate to our late arrival in the afternoon.
lendroit et le batiment le tapis plein,la peinture de la chambre ainsi que sa grandeur.pas d'endroit pour déposer la valise
The staff was vary friendly and helpful. It would be helpful if there was a check in possible by at least 1200. Most US tourists arrive at CDG very early in the AM.
very convenient for Chantilly town and out of town shopping centre the room was a bit on the small side relative to what it costs
The hotel rooms were very modern and clean. staff were very helpfull
Restaurant food was much better than the last Campanile I stayed at - a very pleasant surprise. This however does not justify the increased rates for "New Generation" Campaniles - all the other changes should be part of the normal maintenance of the facilities. Although it was a "Next Generation" Campanile it looked rather run down from the outside. Paint was peeling off the outside stairways and walkways, the fan on the kitchens was very noisy (needed urgent maintenance to stop disturbing guests) & even the large Campanile logo was crooked! The room was fine (if you .like green) except for a confusing switch for the bathroom heater and a few loose fittings (e.g coathooks and shower head rail).
Good standard as always. None
wacky room, alternative food options, free parking. Free internet actually everywhere, not just in public areas (too many hotels claim "WIFI everywhere" when it is not the case) my stay coincided with a sales reps' training meeting - nice for the hotel I realise but irritating to be surrounded by smell of cheap after-shave
value for money
Out of the way in nice setting but easy to get to from Aix. Very helpful staff. Very nice "resort like" athmosphere.
Nothing special. Was a very short overnight stay. For this kind of hotel it was surprising there was a waterboiler set in the room for making coffee/tea. The heating was shut down (or broken?) in the morning.
Freshly laundered linen, warm room. Very clean and good power shower with hot water. Secure parking. Functional room. I was happy to pay in cash but no receipt was offered nor given . Since this was our first stay at this hotel chain I was unaware if this was normal. I was a little uneasy but we enjoyed the stay and thought it was good value for money.
Courtesy and quietness Room light bulbs U/S on arrival but quickly replaced on request.
The food was poor quality and poorly prepared and did not reach minimum standards to be reasonably expected in a hotel.
The receptionist was excellent - friendly and helpful.
Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the quality of the food and proximity to the locations we were visiting. Kettle in room didn't work.
Nice Park and very quite The communication to the hotel and restaurant service was tough because of missing language skills- French only. The service in the restaurant was boring slow. The maid stepped into my room without knocking two times!
Swimming pool and restaurant facility. Pet friendly - excellent grounds for walking pets. The air conditioning in the bedroom did not work and it was over 36 degrees outside. We had to buy so much water to keep cool - the hotel should have provided water and ice free of charge to compensate for the lack of air conditioning on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year! None of our party slept that night due to the stifling heat in the room.
the cleanliness of the room, the restaurants and fast food around we had to wait to get a shuttle, wait to get our room though we booked it online, the attitude of the staff, the wi-fi was announced working and free but it was extremely complicated to get it
Clean and friendly
late arrival, and the possibilty to have a late diner increase the size of the wording on the bottles of shampoo and shower gel,I do not wear spectacles when I take a shower !
letting my dog chase the rabbits one very arrogant french waiter
If you have some noisy neighbours, you won't get any sleep. Walls are as thin as paper.
The beds were more comfortable than last time and the airconditioning was very welcome
easy to find, free parking, local to a surburban shopping area. small cramped bathroom, with no fan or shower curtian/door.
The bed was comfortable and the area was good The shower head leaked, the room was not kept clean and tidy during my stay
Location of hotel was exelent for are stop over through france to spain
Car parked safely, near to room Shabby, old furnishings. Questionably clean? Decor dirty (walls etc) Noisy, disturbed by other guests outside late at night.
Parking The railway noise
The young man at reception was very friendly and helpful. The location was good. The window had no screen for security if left open while sleeping. There was group outside downstairs talking till after 3.00am which affected us.
The excellent firework on the eve of july 13. Amazing!!! The ard keys did not work.
No frills room for overnight bed.
The location is great for travelling to CDG airport. The room was spotless, great value for money. The hotel seems to be fairly new, so bathroom was lovely and fresh.
The hotel is very easy to get to, the gentleman at reception was very helpful and friendly. We were travelling with our dog and were made to feel very welcome. The hotel was clean & secure. Nothing bad to say! :O)
Basic Hotel, with all required facilities and restaurants nearby. Transportat
The hotel was clean, the breakfast was average to poor. Location to the Autobahn. The breakfast menu was not to normal continental breakfast standards..cereal, rolls butter and jam. no meat, cheese or eggs.
Close to the airport and very helpful people during our stay A little hard to find and pillows are really hard.
located close to the GDC airport....good value for the money....has an computerized check in system after hours, so don't forget your booking number if you have one
Newly built, clean & tidy, staff helpful & friendly good value for money None
Very pleasant proprieter
very accessable from motorway, clean and simple. B'fast just what needed. Car is secure. no kettle in room
We stay in family room for 4 people and the room has decent size. Hotel for overnight stay and it's convenient, that there are near by restaurants for have a dinner The smell in the shower/toilet room, it was clean, but the smell was horrible, like in airplane toilet
helpful staff some one spoke engish which was very helpful
Excellent restaurant, very friendly staff
The Hotel was well situated the staff were mostly friendly the reception however was a little 'distant'.Our room was good and so was the breakfast. We had one dinner there which was good and we thought expensive until we tried several other restaurants in other areas of France which were generally the same
The hotel is excellently situated for exploring the area around Chantilly. It also has a very good restaurant, and there is another friendly, high quality restaurant within walking distance. Nothing wrong at all.
It met my requiremnts for a comfotaablr place tp spend the nightwith a good restaurant.
The suite we took was quite spacious ( for french standards) and partially renovated, quite cozy. Common parts are rather outdated, and hotel staff could be more service oriented, especially at the restaurant.
Quiet charm in the country, with a comfortable room and helpful staff. Well sited for visiting famous French chateau. We enjoyed dinner a the hotel but it was too expensive to eat there each evening. A simpler choice of food would be helpful.
A veey nice restaurant with kind employees. Also wireless was ok. Excellent food. Breakfast was some poor.
Quiet. Friendly. Well situated. Room ok, not great.
Clean, comfortable bed, convenient restaurant, and the staff was quite helpful. It's a snap to get to Charles de Gaulle, just one exit and .80 euro toll. I wished there were an outlet closer to the head of the bed for my CPAP machine. I usually bring an extension cord, but I didn't have one that I was sure would handle 220.
perfect bad, tea/coffee facilities in the room and the wonderful fresh fruit with breakfast the heater in the bathroom, very unpleasant, we could not switch it off, but then finally found out it went out automatically
This motel style property is clean and about 10 minutes from CDG airport. Access is easy and there are adjacent chain restaurants as well as a limited menu restaurant within the hotel. Unlike some of the airport hotels around CDG, this is a non-threatening area. Perfect if you are looking for a place to stay before leaving on an early morning flight, but best if you have a rental car. Rooms are very small.
situated near the highway quality is low, compared to price
Clean, warm and welcoming
Hotel restuarant food was excellent
Good location just of A1, clean well equipped rooms, reasonably priced and good quality food. Would diefinately use this chain again,
Our stay at the hotel was for one night only, a stop-over to break the long journey from the South of France. Hotel room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the area surrounding the hotel was quiet. All we could have hoped for.
Cleanliness A bit cramp
Easy to get to from Roissy (a 20-25 Euros cab ride from the airport). Bedding is excellent, Restaurant is perfect, staff is very friendly. It is challenging to find a cab to leave from there. I used "Taxi G7", which you can book by dialing 3607. They will charge 5 euros as a booking fee, but you will get a cab. By the time it picks you up, the meter will already read 30 €...
