It was nice and quite and very good access to beach. Good parking faci
Stuff was nice and friendly, rooms were clean and organized. We had a great oceanfront view. Very easy access to beach
Rooms nice, ocean view, clean and nice hot tub. Also felt very safe as a single
It happened to be the week of East Coast surfing championships which meant liaddpeskers started 7;40 am and all day so not very peaceful
The whirlpool tub was great and the view from the balcony was great. I liked it was so close to the boardwalk and that the room had an small kitchen.
Bathroom was really small and could use some updating.
On the ocean, amazing view and value. This is a hidden gem and all my future stays in VB will be here!!
Bed was very firm. But that is the only thing I could even mildly complain about.
Oceanfront views
Nothing
The location is great, a little far from the crowds. The hot tub next to the balcony is a great plus!
Pleasantly surprised
Spacious rooms...definitely larger then some other rooms I've stayed in in the past. Had a nice view of the ocean from the 4th floor. Located towards the southern end of the beach which wasn't very crowded at the time we were there in late April.
The walls were a bit thin...we could hear the people in the room beside us pretty easily. Wasn't the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on either but for a couple three days it'll do...but for $70 A night I'm not worrying too much about it....definitely worth the money
AWESOME VIEW
They absolutely had the BEST view of the ocean. The hotel was nice overall, but other than the shrinking number of parking spaces, I loved it. You won't have to drive very far, everything is literally in walking distance. Harris teeter, bars, clubs, five star restauraunts, your literally right on the strip.
Parking, not enough.
Great hotel for the money
We stayed here about 39 years ago, and instead if being outdated, it was updated, modern and clean. Great location at the end of the beach where you can view long stretch of the shoreline and the inlet across the street. We received a room with a hot tub thst we were not expecting, and mini kitchen area allows for you to fix your own breakfast and snacks. Good price for the money and all rooms ocean view. Staff was very friendly.

Poor service
Location
Room was not clean. I stayed for two nights and requested for Maid service even asked front desk before leaving after first night but the room was not cleaned. After complaining at the Hotel Front Desk they sent a guy with Towels. Instead of setting it up he handed me everything and gave me a bag to put all the old towels in as if i am the cleaning guy or made a mistake for which being penalized to clean the Hotel room
Great for the price
Loved that I got a huge room (efficiency) with a large window overlooking the ocean and the inlet for about half the price of big name hotels for a smaller room with less amenities! Clean pool (outdoor which is hard to find nowadays in va beach) and far away from all the hustle and bustle of "the strip." Front desk staff were so nice and accommodating and attended to our issues right away.
The cleanliness of the room was sub par but with some of the cleaning staff being a little grumpy, we never asked for anything but towels... Outlets didn't work, toilet was off the seal and wobbly, the shower had a huge clog with yucky stuff coming back up, the remote didn't power the TV on or off, the ceiling fan was loud and rickety, and the balcony was not separate from the next room it just had a built in divider..not great for privacy. All of these issues (except the balcony) were addressed within minutes and although it was a big job they were finished by the time we got back from the beach. The guys that keep up the joint are all young but very professional and courteous.
The location and view from top floor was great close to just about eveeything
The weather was not great and the heating unit did not work very well/at all room was a bit chilly
the location couldn't be beat. the price was acceptable for what you got
The room was clean when we arrived, but the cleaning was a little sloppy while we were there, no vacumming, bath room not fully cleaned
we liked the fact that the hotel was right on the boardwalk and close to the beach.
little expensive for this hotel. also, the air conditioner was obviously not working properly. the room was warm and uncomfortable.
Everything!
Proximity to ocean side, staff very friendly and helpful, quiet, at least it was at this time of year.
Cleaning staff could have been a little more attentive to small details. There was a cobweb on the bedside light that was there the whole time (3 nights) we were there.
Oceanfront with balcony and right on the Va Beach boardwalk. Excellent location and terrific value!
The pillows were old and worn thin--we could have slept better with fluffier pillows, I'm sure. Also, the drain for the kitchen sink was very, very slow (fortunately, we didn't have many dishes to wash so it wasn't a big issue).
it was everything as advertised
I had some trouble with the thermostat, but it was probably my not knowing how to use it
