8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to Petra entrance, friendliness.
Cons: Minibus to Wadi Rum reserved by the property was supposed to cost 6 JD, instead came a taxi to drive us to the minubus and the minibus cost 10 JD. would have been better to take the bus and leave at 10 am instead of at 6.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and it was extremely clean. conviniently located for Petra Excursions. Awesome typical Jordan breakfast included.
Cons: Need to improve ammenities. Hair dryer in teh room, electrical outlets and hangers in the closet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Attentive and kind staff and owner, very clean rooms, working A/C, excellent water pressure, laundry services. Perfect location - only a short walk to Petra Visitor Centre. We would recommend getting a traditional dinner with the hotel which was delicious and you can choose the time you want it ready for which is convinient. Supermarket attached to the hotel for anything you need. Overall, amazing value for money.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everybody here is incredibly nice and friendly. If we ever come back to Wadi Musa, we'll definitely stay here again. The food served for breakfast and dinner is amazing, too! It's just five minutes on foot away from the Petra Visitor Center Entrance - perfect. They also arranged a 4x4 for us to take us to the back entrance from where we hiked to the "Monastery" on our second day. All in all: Big thumbs up!
Cons: You can hear the water pump kick in pretty loudly whenever someone opens the tap or flushes the toilet - especially at night this is pretty annoying. (We were kind of knocked out from all the hiking around the Petra site, so we didn't really bother, though) Maybe they could update the system with a bigger tank on the roof so that the pump has to stop and start and stop and start so often? The beds are a bit too soft for my taste - but this is a subjective opinion, of course.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mohammed was a great host. The room was big, the bed very comfortable. There is parking available. It’s only a 5-7 minute walk to the Petra gate. Definitely highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Esperanza Petra enough and I hope to come visit again sometime.

Petra Moon Hotel - Wadi Musa - Building
3
9.1 Excellent (1,710 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Petra Moon Hotel in Wadi Musa, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Petra and Petra Visitor Center. Featured amenities include limo/town car service, express check-in, and express check-out. Planning an event in Wadi Musa? This hotel has facilities measuring 65 square feet (6 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to visitor centre! Small plunge pool was nice.
Cons: We got some misleading advice upon arrival about the best way to view the site. Reception staff tried to sell us a transfer to the monastery at dawn for 40JD, telling us it would take eight hours to walk from the hotel to the monastery and back. We were confused as we had booked this hotel specifically for the location next to the visitor centre. We also asked in the restaurant how long it would take to walk to the monastery and were told they did not know which seems highly unlikely and made us slightly suspicious. Upon checking with local friends it became clear that you can easily walk from the hotel (visitor centre entrance) to the monastery and back in four hours, which we were able to do first thing as we were so close and the visitor centre opens at six am. In fact this is the nicest route as you enter via the Siq and you can see the Treasury in the light of dawn. Unless you have health or physical difficulties I would definitely recommend this option rather than paying to be driven away from the main entrance to the back monastery entrance. I spoke to the front of house manager as we were leaving and he claimed we were just being given options. Being offered options is okay, but suggesting it would take eight hours or longer do the hike to the monastery and back is misleading at best. Unfortunately it came across as a cynical money making ruse which is a shame when the location of the hotel is its main draw.
8.8 Excellent
Pros:
6.7 Good
Pros: Very close to the Petra Visitor Center. Very friendly stuff at the restaurant. Beautiful sky view from the pool/restaurant terrace.
Cons: Bathroom could be more modern.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location couldn't be better. I was sad I didn't get a room at the Movenpick, but this hotel surprised me with its amazing suite room, awesome restaurant service and fantastic terrace pool and bar. I was travelling with a toddler and at no time did I face any discomfort with food, service or location. This is a stone's throw to the Petra ticket counter and the views from the terrace are spectacular. There is a small supermarket and 2-3 restaurants at 3 minutes walk from the hotel, so no need to be captive at the hotel. We didnt budge from the hotel after the Petra trek cause food and comfort were so awesome.
Cons: I loved the hotel. Please close your eyes and book this hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect Position, very clean, nice pool, great buffet restaurant...
8.5 Excellent
Pros: We previously stayed at the Movenpick which is directly next to Petra Moon at 3 times the rate, so we moved to Petra Moon for 2 nights and found the view to be the best feature, followed by close access to Petra, just 1 block away from the entrance to the Visitor's Center. Air Conditioning was good and the room was nice and cool. Small fridge in the room, and Wi-Fi was good with good speed. Food prices are reasonable for being so close to a main tourist attraction which is of course Petra. Nice rooftop area for dinner has a great view of the area. I would stay again and would recommend it for the value compared to other hotels.
Cons: 1. No alcohol available 2. The only english language channels were BBC, CNN, and had to get them to reprogram the satellite box to get MBC 2, but they were willing to do that. 3. Shower curtain doesn't reach the top of the tub so floods the bathroom floor every time you take a shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, friendly staff, lovely swimming pool, very comfortable room and spacious
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very well located Nice room and facilities
Cons: Over priced breakfast
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, restaurant: delicious food & sunset, recommending to order the table, it worth it:) really friendly staff, free minibar, welcome drink, fruits and even some local sweets, air condition, pool. We have been at lot's of hotels, but this one you will remember. Recommendations!
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location and great breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close by to the entrance to Petra. Roof top restaurant with a nice sunset view and very delicious food.
Cons: Leaving
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location next to Petra. Comfortable rooms. Excellent food and service. Rooftop pool perfect after hot day in Petra.
Cons: Expensive vs alternative hotels.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, attentive service. My husband and I stayed in Jordan for five nights and with The Petra Moon for three nights after being recommended by family to stay there. They organised our taxis and tours for our whole five day trip around Jordan and couldn't help us enough with anything we needed, all the trips were faultless. I was over the moon with our stay :) !
Cons:

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel Is really nicely integrated with the landscape. Our room was very comfortable and beautiful, we had all we needed. We really loved the pool, a great way to end the day after exploring Petra! The views were amazing from every spot. The restaurant and the service were great, we had some delicious local food in the terrace in the evenings and lovely breakfasts in the morning. Everything exceeded expectations!
Cons: Nothing really!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really kind and accommodating! The dinner in the buffet perfect and the breakfast good enough! A lot of facilities inside the room. Only nine minutes from Petra by car.
Cons: The bathroom is a little bit outdated, not modern enough for an almost new 5 stars hotel. Also, through the window of our room (No 204) one could see only a stone wall. The pool is too small!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view from the restaurant. Attentive staff. Value for money very okay
9.6 Excellent
Pros: incredible resort, including swimming pools, restaurants... perfect after a hard day in petra
Cons: nothing to do outside the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent food, staff, rooms,... charming !
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We loved the hotel, the rooms, the swimming pool and the food.
Cons: I did think, that with all the accomodations we've had, this was very expensive. The question above the price and expectations is difficult to answer, because the hotel was very nice. But i think it was to expensive.
7.9 Good
Pros: The room was really amazing, with vintage look, and amazing architecture .
Cons: Food. It should be more choices for breakfast, and continuously exchanging cold dishes with new ones.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful hotel complex which presents itself typical for the country and modern. The room was spacious and clean and invited to stay. Also the pool and the Jakuzzi contributed to the recovery. The big choice at breakfast was the right start for the visit of Petra.
Cons: The bathroom could have been more modern. The shower with shower curtain in the bathtub did not correspond to the other standard of the room and the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful setting that blends into the landscape. Rooms private, the decor authentic and together with the bathroom, spotlessly clean. A special mention to Anas who is responsible for the pool area. His professional, friendly, but unobtrusive guest attention was amazing and much appreciated! The breakfast is a true delight and well worth taking time to savour on the terrace. Compliments to the Management and their Team of this hotel.
Cons: Not adequately being informed of the shuttle service time when returning from the Petra by Night performance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were absolutely incredible - they went beyond the extra mile to make us comfortable and even gave us the best room in the hotel because we were celebrating our honeymoon.
Cons: Nothing - we loved our stay.
Bedayah Bed And Breakfast - Wadi Musa - Bedroom
5
9.7 Excellent (27 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The porperty is near the main entrance to Petra city, yet it is quiet and calm at night time. The owner is so helpful: he with his brother cooked us the dinner (what was one of the most delicious during our visit in Jordan!), provided as jeep to the Monastery entrance in the morning, even organizes us the shisha the same night. Very pleasant stay at his home, wide and well equiped rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly host, provided shisha, gave information about location and advice on destinations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hospitality and great location.
Cons: Nothing in particular.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well, i was with my family and they were a little bit inconvenient as we wanted to really experience a day like never as we had our kids birthday, we arrived before the sunset to the property and met the man of the day ( BELAL ) then once we got inside all of our fears just went away and turned to surprisingly breathtaking... very spacious home were most of the furniture were handmade in a very authentic way...two showrooms were more than enough for 5 people, as the heating system was fine too... talking about the dinner belal offered us a live cooking class ( session ) at the kitchen where all the family participated while he also arranged to deliver the birthday cake as well, to be honest my family and i loved the vibes of this place and had a really unforgettable experience l, as for the breakfast we were too lazy to wake up so we asked for a breakfast box which was a good option.. unfortunately we were not able to say longer in Petra city... overall i would definitely recommend this place.. its cozy, clean and has the party vibes...
Cons: It's better to have a car, it's bit away from the city centre ut has a nice view above the mountains
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice breakfast and wonderful view, they also prepared a wonderful diner. Best we had in Jordan during our holiday
Cons: All was perfect
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The apartment space by far exceeded our expectations and the children were blown away by it. The location on the mountain was breathtaking, especially when the sun began to set and you had the sweeping views of the mountains and the town below. The lounge/diner had plenty of space to relax in and to eat if you wanted a family meal. The three bedrooms had excellent space, wonderfully designed rustic furniture and extremely comfy beds. The kitchen was well equipped for any cooking needs and the bathrooms were clean and well designed. We would happily stay here again and we were warmly welcomed to the property when we were handed our keys for the stay.
Cons: The non-smoking apartment was extremely smoky. Upon entering you were hit by smoke and the furniture and bedclothes all smelt of smoke which our children didn’t like. The internet was very weak although you might expect that and should be understanding with the apartments location. There wasn’t any breakfast, as advertised for our booking, included in our stay but we left early so it didn’t bother us. The neighbours above were extremely noisy, partly due to Ramadan celebrations, but every time they moved chairs upstairs you could hear it clearly below.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely loved this place. Belal was an amazing host with a great sense of humour. The mountain views from the apartment are surely the best in Petra- especially at sunset!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place, much better than expected. Wonderful hosts, kind, welcoming and helpful. They prepared for us a great traditional dinner and breakfast. A must in Petra. Stay here without hesitation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is one of the best places ever! The reality surpassed my expectations! The apartment is sparkling clean, the host is most kind and helpful, he even borrowed us mobile internet so we could use it while being in Petra, the view of the city and the mountains is stunning, the facilities simply perfect. Also, you have a fully equipped kitchen, so if you're low on cash or just want to drink tea in the evening, you can use the kitchen as if you were home. I don't think I've ever found a better place to stay in the whole history of my travels.
Cons: There is nothing, literally NOTHING that needs adjustments. This place is perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view was exceptional.
Cons: The fridge was not working at the time we arrived there.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great and helpful host Gail, everything was nice and clean, excellent breakfast, friendly dog, very nice environment overall.
Cons: slight hassle with the house being not in tourist part of town - needing to take taxi (3-4JOD per trip) between the house and town/Petra-entrance. But it turned out to be no big deal.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful host, quiet location overlooking Wadi Musa, pleasant atmosphere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner of the property was very kind and helped us with everything. The breakfast was great as well!
5.8 Okay
Pros: As described in the many positive comments, Gail is a great host. She is also a great cook, and we had a great dinner that we could only confirm lately. Breakfast is also as described, meaning very nice.
Cons: For me a B&B is great if the bed and the breakfast is great. The main issue I had was the bed of the room we got. We were staying in a large enough room, but not called the big room in this B&B of 2 rooms. Looking at the pictures, you can see a bed with a metallic structure, that is the one. When going to bed, I was wondering why on one side, the mattras was that hard, but apparently without any support of a bedspring. I looked at the problem and understood directly why the confort was that non-exisiting (see picture). Having a wooden board on a light metallic structure is what is is. As a result, the night was awful and I wake up with a broken back. For the sake of honesty, I'm quite tall and heavy, but for owners having that many years in hotel management, I do not understand why this is that weak on equipment for a B&B that they run as a business. On top of this, the house in non very well isolated form a noice point of view. I know this is a B&B and not a hotel room, but when the husband comes back at night, should I hear him busy in the kitchen ? Talking about the husband, either we did not understand his sense of humor, either he was just rude because the ramadan or whatever, but happily enough, it is Gail that runs the place. Location is a bit isolated but not an issue for us as we had a car.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It feels like home
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly owner. She is from UK so very easy to comunicate. Very clean and quiet house. Car parking near building. Very lovely dog inside. Will come here again if will visit Jordan in future. Great place to stay if you visit Petra.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our host was great. The room/house was very comfortable and had a lovely porch area outside. She prepared us a great packed breakfast which we took with use for an early start to Petra.
Cons: No negatives - though it was more expensive than most other places we stayed in Jordan.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Gail and Ibrahim were amazing hosts and even though Gail had to leave she made sure that all arrangements were done and on time. The room was super clean and the bed comfortable. To be honest I could not find anything at fault with the stay. The bathroom was clean and tidy. We were even able to wash our clothes here and get going. I would highly recommend people staying here if you do get a chance. It was a very homely stay and would definitely stay here again if we do come back (or suggest our close friends and family) Their dog was our added bonus and I guess she only made our stay better. Whenever we were just chilling out we had Bessie for comfort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service. Gail waited for me to arrive as I was on a late flight in. She also made me a packed breakfast to eat as I went to Petra 5*
Cons: n/a
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. If you head out early in the morning to explore Petra, you will get a packed breakfast to take with you, otherwise Gail prepares a selection of local and European breakfast foods. The hosts' friendly dog was a lovely bonus.

Pros: Ahmad was an incredible host. He made our stay truly fantastic by driving us to the nearby sights and providing delicious local cuisine for us. Could not recommend this spot more highly!
Cons: It was particularly hot whilst we were there (as expected)...air conditioning in the bedroom would have been nice.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great dinner and breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff performed way beyond what has been my experience at other places where I have stayed. They went beyond expectations to assist us in having a memorable trip, including tips and transportation and catering to our needs, even taking us to change money and providing transportation to a special dinner. The meals were excellent and planned totally around our schedule for that day. They provided box lunches for us to take to Petra, which was very helpful, since food is not readily available there. They even assisted us with our laundry!!!! The accommodations were absolutely lovely, extremely clean, tastefully decorated and the view from the terrace was fantastic. We were able to have dinner outside, overlooking the entire Wadi Musa area. Spectacular!!! Ahmed also solved a major problem regarding visiting other sites in Jordan that made it much easier for us and allowed us to take full advantage of our visit, including dining at a local restaurant in Amman, an opportunity we would never have had without him!
Cons: Truthfully, there was nothing more they could have done.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hospitality generosity kidness ... We had a wonderfull Time in petra, thank for our hosts !! The cook was delicious, beautifull view from the garden, they help us with any answer ... awesome hospitality again! Thank you for everything, please to meet them an other Time in Jordan or in France we hope!
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The super friendly hosts, the quality of food (you cannot miss dinner, cooked on demand even with only a couple of hours notice), the view on the city from the garden (where we had dinner), the elephant in the room
Cons: Just one thing: it was extremely hot during the night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent B&B stay located in stunning place having create views to Wadi Musa (Petra). The hosts were very friendly and talkative. We also had nice dinner in both nights - super good, but portions were very huge also. Also both afternoons, after full day hiking in Petra area, it was nice to sit in their cosy terrace and drink mint tea. If you decide to stay in this love B&B, please also have the dinner - quite reasonable pricing - but is actually very good and tasty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! Our host were very welcoming and helpful! They really take care of their guests and they make sure we have everything we need. Ahmed took the time to gave us tips about Petra. If I go to Petra one day I would definitly go back to the Petra Harmony Bed & Breakfast! :)
Cons: Nothing bad

The rooms at Ammarin Bedouin Camp are decorated with simple furnishings and a shared bathroom. It is fitted with mattresses, pillows and blankets. This camp is 1.4 km away from Little Petra archaeological site and a shuttle service to the Petra is available upon request. Queen Alia International Airport is 94 km from the property.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely personnel and great location - secluded and charming, but near enough to Petra. Accommodation is simple but clean and useful - washrooms especially clean and good. Food is delicious and so are hosts.
Cons: Given the heat, a mosquito net over the door of the cabins would have been useful, as when you shut the door its almost impossible to breathe as there's very little air circulation.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice tribe running it, it is clear that here Beduine tradition is more important than commerce. Evening ceremony impressive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is in an absolutely stunning setting. My tent was like "glamping", it was covered in Bedouin tapestries on the walls and beds. The bed was comfortable, and the blanket for the night, stuffed with camel hairs, felt like a weighted anxiety blanket! I slept like a rock! The toilet facilities are clean. The staff of the camp from the Ammarin Bedouin tribe, are helpful and work hard to make your stay unforgettable. In the evening, after a tasty buffet of traditional foods, the chief will explain the coffee making process and perform and explain some of the rituals they have in their tribe. By the third night, I had heard it already so I chose to write in my journal and reflect on the amazing Petra in their gorgeous sitting area under the rocks. It was a great experience. I definitely recommend more than one day in Petra -- too much to not take the time to see it all! I will never forget camping with the Bedouins!
Cons: When they turn off the electricity, so that you can see the stars, it can make the toilets difficult to use. Bringing a flash light is a good idea! There was no wifi which for me was great to unplug, but some may not like that. You can use the free wifi at the Petra Visitors Center.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place in the middle of nature and rocks. I and my friend stayed one night here. First we were warmly welcomed by a cup of tea made on charcol then marcelo helped us by providing useful info about the area. In the evening after a lovely dinner in the big tent, we gathered around the fireplace and Hussain the manager of the camp showed us how they make bduian coffe and offered a cup to every one then music and song was performed and then sleeping in dark.... breakfast was lovely
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A complete get-away-from-it-all. Beautiful location. Special evenings around the fire having coffee. Accommodation more than adequate. Communal bathroom facilities spotlessly clean. Eid a gracious host, as is his team. Will definitely return!
Cons: My short stay :(
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at Ammarin Bedouin Camp were so hospitable and kind. It was such a unique and wonderful experience. I would recommend this to everybody. The food was amazing and I loved the tea!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Just amazing! The adventure starts from finding the camp itself as you have the chance to sleep in the archaeological site of Little Petra ! And the surrondigs around are just breath-taking. When you arrive you see the Bedouin who waits for you near the fire with the cup of tea. You feel welcomed as in the family. Total disconnection from the outside world. You just feel good in the middle of rocks and under the sky. You listen to the funny stories of Bedouin's life. People who care a lot about their camp offer you the best stay that you can imagine. Thank you for your work and kindness ! The camp proposes the good food. There are real beds in the tents , so sleeping is comfortable. The bath accommodation and toilets are in good state. Totally recommended for the real experience
Cons: No wi-fi.. but you are not coming to the Bedouin camp for that ..
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location for this simple but well run, comfortable bedouin camp was spectacular. A huge quiet ampitheatre of rocks close to Little Petra but far from the tourist trail to feel completely isolated. There was a glorious seating area in a big rock cleft that is in the shade all day. The owner of the camp was wonderful. A bedouin who loves to extol bedouin traditions and introduce his visitors to this. We were only 6 on the night we stayed here and the treat of sitting round a campfire under the stars with a full moon, brewing bedouin style coffee and discussing bedouin life felt like such a privilege. The little museum had wonderful black and white photos of our hosts family. Highly recommended, as is the walk into Petra via the monastery trail.
Cons: Nothing. Whilst basic, the camp is very comfortable and was exactly as we expected for the price range ( actually better - the whole experience was wonderful).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The mixture between the nice beduins and Marcella a woman from Italy makes this place a perfekt and authentic location away from busy Petra and still close enough for the tourist attractions!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This place offers you some special moments only for yourself. Landscape is amazing, people are very friendly, it makes you feel part of a fairy-tale.

Pros: The view is incredible! The staff is nice and helpful, the breakfast was good and the pool too. Also if you want to try a Bédouin meal, ask the hotel to book a table at the outside restaurant : amazing experience with the sunset and a really kind chef !

Pros: Views ! And the most dedicated and friendly staff !! <3

Pros: Staff allowed us to use the hotel pool and changing rooms even after check out. Staff was really nice during the entire stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The manger was very nice !
Cons: Nothing
6.7 Good
Pros: Steam and sauna
Cons: Ac was making noise throughout our stay, reception was trying to sound bit generous and give us things for complimentary for the things which were already included in my booking. Faucet needs to be added in the washrooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place! Recommend it for hikers who like the comfort as well as for viewers. Located on the cliff, with a swimming pool idealy to cool down after visiting Petra, very good restaurant serving local food together with tasty breakfast. Additional plus for a beduine tent where You can have traditional food, Jordanian wine and tea - consuming while listening to local music.
Cons: Sunset could had last longer :-)
7.1 Good
Pros: The food at supper, although a bit limited, was delicious.
Cons: Very tired in need of an update. Breakfast was not of a standard I would expect from a Marriott. Could be a great little hotel but needs some money spent updating it.

7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent dinner buffet for $14 USD(10 Dinar); however, included breakfast was mediocre. Great staff. Out of the way, so $7USD(5 Dinar) for each trip to and from camp.
Cons: Breakfast--it seems every Jordanian hotel/hostel serves up only hard boiled eggs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice position in the desert near Little Petra, few kilometres from Petra. The camp is located at the foot of round-shaped rocky hills, nicely illuminated in the night thanks to hundreds of lights. Althoug the bathroom is shared like in a camping, all was clean and fully equipped. Kind staff.
Cons: Nothing to mention.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was ok
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was more than what We expected!! I like to ready people reviews and there were some concerns after reading some reviews I even consider canceling, but I wanted to experience the bohemian camp and I’m glad I did. I requested a tent/ room closer to the restroom and I got it very thankful for it. The restrooms are located in a central location very convenient to all guests, they keep them clean. We stayed at the camp for two nights but only eat dinner on one of the nights big mistake because their traditional bohemian dinner buffet is the best food that we had in Jordan, very tasteful plus the staff is attentive to your needs. This is a bohemian camp for a reason there is no AC and some rooms don’t have a door lock ( take ur own lock) We drink tea and enjoyed the stars the music and dance.
Cons: Their breakfast is very basic, boiled eggs, bread and jam with a good coffee.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was a great respite from the rest of Wadi Musa. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, as were the facilities. I
Cons: There was a lot of construction happening around so it felt a bit noisy sometimes, in such a quiet area.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is such a cool place to stay and you really need to stay here for the unique experience. Our twin bed tent was actually quite clean and the bedding was comfortable and clean. Dinner was delicious!!!! And breakfast was the standard for Jordan. Spending the evening under the stars with the fairly lights around the camp was just amazing. You get served sweet tea and can purchase shisha for 10 JD. We only stayed here 1 night and we wouldn't really recommend staying longer as there is not airconditioning and the tents get very hot as soon as the sun rises (but are cool and comfortable during the night) but you really should stay for the 1 night because it is a really memorable experience. The camp is a perfect location to get a 4x4 to the back entrance of Petra where you can do a 45 minute (moderate difficulty but beautiful) hike to the Monastery. The camp drove us to the back entrance for 25 JD (we already had our tickets so able to go straight form the camp to the back entrance).
Cons: We and a couple others too had trouble accessing the wifi and were not able to use it.
6.7 Good
Pros: Close to Little Petra. Stuff was helpfull and kind. Very nice and chill atmosphere at evnings with tea and bonfire. Food is good as well. All in all, recomended if you are not going to stay when its very high tempetarure outside.
Cons: Almost imposible to breathe during the night inside the tent. Tents had only one small window, and if you want to have closed door, it will be way to warm and oksygen level will get too low after only couple og minutes. This was the case in summer, probably you want have this kind of issue during other seasons.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wifi was strong. Food was good and genuine. All the staff were nice but Bakir stood out from the rest and was exceptional with his help and knowledge. He took us to a 3 hour Jeep ride and a camel ride. He chose very specific locations, took photos of us and prepared tea for us in the desert while watching the sunset. Couldn't ask for more.
Cons: Misunderstanding with the owner regarding payment. Had to go through the booking confirmations and show him what was included with the booking as he had no idea.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, amazing people, amazing food. I am definitely gonna come back here again. Almost all the personal speaks english, easy to communicate, provided us with many helpful tips. Helped us with transfer from Amman to the camp and then back to the aeroport (very useful when traveling with small children). Free Wifi was a major plus.
Cons: The possibility to have lunch on location would be much appreciated (they can only provide breakfast and dinner for the moment). Also some activities for the kids during the day would be a plus.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Don't miss this place. It's magic. surrounded by the rock of Little Petra, lights make you feel like in a fairy tale. forget about all your troubles. relax and enjoy the place.
Cons: Sounds strange, but we couldn't take a shower in the evening because the water was too hot! ( i guess for the solar system). We waited until the morning ;)

Cons: - Staff not very welcoming - Wifi needed to be restored by staff every day - Breakfast mainly aimed at locals. Not continental - Tiling in the pool

Pros: Beautiful stone arched design to the large spacious rooms. Seemed in a traditional design (but I wouldn’t know to be honest). Grounds were really nice too Very friendly staff, restaurant in particular was very helpful + the food was good. Pros: The actual place is amazing with great character, it feels like you are in a village. Beautiful spacious rooms, traditionally designed, very comfortable. Food choice amazing at the onsite restaurant , both at breakfast and dinner time. Thoughtful staff. Booked the Hamam experience, I thought to be quite relaxing and worth the money. Would stay here again if given the chance.
Cons: The location is quite far from the actual Petra site, you need a 10-15 min taxi ride which doesnt come cheap.

Pros: Location, near from Petra entrance and center
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location only 5 mins walk to Petra visitor centre, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast buffet options and all for a very reasonable price compared to other hotels in the area. Would recommend!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was great. It is literally a two minute walk away from the entrance to Petra! The hotel is very accommodating as we asked for packed lunches on one of the days of our stay as we headed out to Petra bright and early before breakfast began.
Cons: Not a huge issue but the noise really travels from the corridors and the street outside into the room. Moreover, I think it would be great if more water was left in the rooms - rather than having to ask for it. Nevertheless, it was a great stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, 5min from the entrance to Petra. Huge bed. Clean.
Cons: Not so new modern bathroom. Huge bed, but small blanket. These days is hotel in the middle of construction zone - not hotel's fault of course.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are confortable
Cons: Bathroom quite old, poor breakfast ( no fresh juice)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The stuff!
Cons: Just next to the hotel - there is new hotel been built... The noise...
6.7 Good
Pros: It’s proximity to the Petra visitors centre. Food in the restaurant is nice. Breakfast spread was pretty big. Staff generally helpful
Cons: Triple room was actually a double room with an extra bed brought in which made the room quite small. Some lamps in the room did not work. Breakfast could be started a bit early to give a head start for Petra which opens at 6.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is amazing and very close to Petra Visitor Center (3 min walk). Comfortable parking lot just in front. Mini market just outside the entrance and staff was great.
Cons: The food quality in the breakfast could be improved.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: -location: very close to Petra; 3 min walk to get to the entrance -very friendly employees; they help you with any problem you face. -rooftop bar
Cons: -the rooftop bar could be a little cosier; the carpet is getting loose -the electricity fell out 2 times
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location 5min walk from Petra entrance was ideal. Free parking across the road. Buffet Dinner and breakfast was good.
Cons: Shower pressure and temperature was inconsistent.

Pros: The location was great, you cannot be closer to the entrance of Petra. Our room was very clean and contained everything we needed. When arriving we even got a small welcome drink which was a nice gesture. Breakfast was good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: - The location is just perfect. There is no better location in Petra. - The breakfast is amazing. - The staff is super friendly.
Cons: - There was no clear communication about the restaurant opening hours
7.9 Good
Pros: breakfast time the omelet making person was a moody and gloomy and was keeping a unhappy face.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: reception staff were exceptionally helpful - they made fantastic recommendations that meant our visit to Petra was even better that it would have otherwise been, then lent us maps and gave great advice. We took a taxi and went into the complex by the Monastery which meant climbing down the 900 steps rather than climbing up - and in the heat that made a massive difference. They were generous with the bottled cold water. Great bar outside and evening meal was a BBQ which was very tasty, Great breakfast with amazing omelette chef. Hotel is right next to the entrance to Petra!
Cons: there was nothing we didn't like
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location to the Petra entrance and the Cave Bar was superb for hanging out in the evening. The staff was excellent.
Cons: Everything was great accept for the quality of the dinner buffet. The price was too much for the quality of the food. Though the presentation was excellent.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and convenient location, nice staff
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent, check in well-organised, staff were friendly and efficient.
Cons: Rooms were too warm, breakfast was a muddle, fruit plate in room was a great idea but all unripe so wasteful.

Cons: The visitors center was unable to accept credit cards day of our visit. At 50 JOD per person, its a bit challenging for come up with 350 JOD in cash. ATMs have limit of 250 JOD.

Cons: Carpet mats in the bathroom.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The location is close to Petra.
Cons: The water in the pool was very cold.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very helpful. If you have a car location is very good. You can reach Petra enterence in minutes. Also the hotel in the center of Wadi Musa. Swimming pool is nice to relax after a long Petra day. Breakfast and dinner okey.
Cons: Cleaning staff starts talking in the morning very early, and they opened the door one while we are inside the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is very nice and the rooms are very nice and with a huge comfortable bed. Also the pool is amazing to relax after a day in Petra.
Cons: The room was not really big. Furthermore a taxi is necessary to reach Petra.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really nice, the man at the reception even proposed us to take a breakfast box because we were leaving before breakfast time: very nice! The pool is enjoyable even if it is a little cold since it’s inside. But to relax after a long day visiting Petra it was great! You can walk to Petra (20min approximately) or take a taxi for 2JD (they will tell you it’s 5JD at first). The room was big enough, very clean! I recommend this hotel

10.0 Excellent
Pros: You just cannot beat the location. Right outside the hotel, there is the entrance to the Petra visitor center. The roof terrace restaurant was awesome: the view is super (reserve to experience the sunset there), and the food was simple (Arab grill) but very good. The rooms were quite OK, and the central lounge is just as nice as on the photos.
Cons: The breakfast and dinner food in the main restaurant was OK, but probably not 5-star level.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff of the hotel are very helpful, good and polite. They also can converse in English better than other hotels in Jordan. Breakfast table had some great spreed of food options and everything is really tasty. The location of the hotel is everything. It is right across the road from Petra's ticket center, you could not ask for better location.
Cons: The property is super costly, and for rooms that are ok, it felt a bit too steep. Considering that I stayed in intercontinental in Amman for less than what this hotel costed me, I felt the value for money was not correct. Specially disappointing are the images of the room view that makes you think that you are looking at the Petra valley. but alas all you can see is either hotel property or road with traffic. you can not see any Petra or valley from their windows.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's location near Petra's entrance is perfect. There are also several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel that allow you to enjoy the region better. Breakfast was superb, with a varied buffet of excellent quality and several live cooking stations. The interior decoration of the hotel is very beautiful. It was always easy to contact the hotel directly and get almost immediate feedback, which pleased us greatly.
Cons: The extra hotel bed was uncomfortable.
7.1 Good
Pros: Proximity to Petra visitor centre was great and public rooms very nice. The staff were also although they seemed to be short staffed in the bar so service suffered a little
Cons: Hotel room was tired, in need of refurbishment and the bathroom was worn and a bit dirty. Our room overlooked the pool and the building site next door which wasn’t pleasant. It was also very expensive for the room and drinks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The position is the best in Petra, in front of the gate. Breakfast was amazing
Cons: Everything was good
7.9 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Housekeeping knocking on my door at 8am
6.3 Good
Cons: Watch out for the concierge here -- they will just book you with their friends who are very overpriced and substandard, better off going elsewhere to book tourist activities. Cost is around 7-10x hotels next door. It is nicer, but really struggle to see the value in having to pay 1,000% more than the next door hotels.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The location is good because it is across the street from the entrance to the park
Cons: Staff was a little unfriendly They cut the water for 2 hours The hotel is dated and the bathroom didn't feel super clean Too expensive for what you get
7.9 Good
Pros: Location!!! Super close to Petra. Easy walking distance.
Cons: Bathroom floor gets flooded with water after showering. I booked a king-sized bed and got asked if two separate beds was ok for me and husband. Note: the hotel did eventually give us a king-sized bed.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is excellent. It is right across the road from the entrance to Petra and the Petra Museum. There are a lot of eating options along the road towards the hotel. Staff are lovely and work hard to please. Breakfast spread is the standard Mövenpick spread Decent pool to cool down in.
Cons: The double beds are small (akin to a large single in other hotels) Parts of the hotel including the room are a little tired (though the hotel is going through refurbishment) Housekeeping - replenishment of essentials such as toilet paper is hit and miss No espresso - only Nescafe :(

Pros: Everything was perfect: the hotel and the room was super clean and neat, comfortable and has everything you need. The position is amazing, you have restaurants and shops all around at 1 minute walking, and you can also walk to the archeological site. The staff and owners are just amazing... I totally recommend this hotel!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location in Petra. Near to markets so has easy access to shops and cafes around. Big spacious rooms.
Cons: Nothing in particular.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice beds. Good location. Anything you need can be arranged.
Cons: No fridge. No bath plug. Small tv
4.8 Okay
Cons: The staff said they don’t have menu for their Restaurnt. They charged us 7$ per cup of tea. I threaten them to call the tourist police then they dropped the price
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location, the nice staff, clean, nice breakfast
Cons: Old and ripped towels, bad Internet signal in the room, no toilet brush, broken chair, the remote control didn’t work. A good place for sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager there was very accommodating. It was a great place to stay. I would stay there again!
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very well kempt, especially for the price we paid.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The only saving grace for this property was that the bathroom was decently clean (though not the best). Location is good only if you have a car because Petra is a hilly 20 minute walk away and it is way too hot and tiring to walk.
Cons: There was ZERO hospitality - as a 3 star hotel we did not expect the best facilities but we atleast expected basic hospitality. We had huge bags with us, and i asked the owner, can we get help for our luggage and he curtly replied "no, sorry, help yourself". We saw the room, it was too dark and half the lights did not work. The hotel also gave NO drinking water. This is the first time I have stayed at a place which did not even give water to drink, we went to the shops to buy. The breakfast was far below average. I will not return and will not recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The location of the hotel is right in the city center, easy to travel to anywhere. The staffs here are perfect specialy the receptionist with polite manner and willing to help. Room is super clean with nice view. The facilities here are new and super comfortable. Also food is nice in the restaurant too. It's such a quite place to stay for a relaxing vacation. Highly highly recommend
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly and lobby was also very nice n clean.
Cons: Towels were not cleaned, using very old towels with very bad quality. No iron and iron board was provided.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great value, clean rooms, good wifi, tasty and rich breakfast. Approx. 1,5 km downhill to Petra entrance, very close to restaurants and shops.
6.0 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good breakfast, several good restaurants were very close.
Cons: The rooms are right above the street and there was a lot of traffic noise.
6.0 Good
Pros: The best part of the hotel was the gregarious manager Mahmoud, who is very likable and tries his hardest for his guests. He can arrange anything that a guest needs, from transport to food. I only stayed for one night, but there were no problems, and the hotel is situated in a very good location in Wadi Musa.
Cons: Internet is not free, shower curtain in bathroom didn't do a good job of preventing the water from getting all over the floor. Also, the restaurant that Mahmoud 'recommended' was slightly overpriced and I felt like they were trying to rip me off.
7.0 Good
Pros: We arrived very late and had forgotten to phone ahead to confirm our late arrival. The owner had given our rooms away, but made a very big effort to help us get new rooms and then transfered us to Petra the next day, etc. Was very nice management
7.7 Good
Pros: The staff asked repeatedly how that may assistance us with any needs we may have. Lunch was packed for us which was major convenience as Petra is an all day trip. Would stay there again on a return trip. Location was absolutely the best one could ask for.
Cons: This is not an upscale hotel, but you are there to see the sights and meet people. It is a great place to do what you come there for.
5.3 Okay
Pros: Mahmoud the manager was a real character and would do anything to help.
Cons: Shower and bathroom very basic, not dirty but barely usable. Whole place has seen better days.

7.1 Good
Pros: Clean rooms and friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Comfortable beds.
Cons: A bit of a walk from Petra main gates and no shuttle service to the gates . Booked city view room and was given a room facing the city but on the third floor which meant it looked right into a store front . Other than that, no issue.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: 1. The staff and service (Mohammed at the reception and Sandeep for room service) 2. The location (Sooo beautiful and accessible to city center) 3. The view (upon request a view of entire Petra from room was arranged)
Cons: Nothing to unlike but the property lacked any special facilities. However our intention to see Petra was fulfilled in every way.
6.3 Good
Pros: great location within walking distance (approx. 15 mins) to main gates of Petra. Also lots of local restaurants nearby offering cheap and local cuisine.
Cons: The Minute we arrived (tired after a 3 hour drive) we were being offered trips to Petra at a very high cost and what turned out to be within walking distance.. Most staff were friendly but our first encounter was disappointing. 150 to 250 JD for a trip to amenities close by was incredulous. Rated as a 4 start hotel but definitely not 4 stars..
7.1 Good
Cons: Food has to be improved. Many flies around in dinner room.

Pros: It has a really good view from the balcony. You can chill there and enjoy the view. It is not far away from the centre with the restaurants and shops.
Cons: The bathroom could be better. It was really small and not in the best shape. But all in all the hotel is a good choice for a short stay.

Pros: Friendly and informative. Best views Good prices
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Public bus stopped right infront of the hostel. The room is decorated in a beduine way. Very friendly staff, helped us arranging a trip to Wadi Rum. The location has a great view over Wadi Musa. to go to Petra, the walk downhill takes about 25mins. Free shuttle service available in the morning. to go back, we hailed taxis or Hilux drivers for about 4JD to go uphill.
Cons: No vibe in the common area.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A quiet location out of the main part of town. This hotel has been given a recent makeover upgrading what was an old and rather tired building Staff very helpful Comfortable stay
Cons: Mattress could have been thicker
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view from the terrace was amazing during the well prepared breakfast. Also when we arrived the staff helped us out very well, we were a little late and still wanted to see everything of Petra of course. They were flexible and helped us with the best solution. We wouldn’t have known the possibilities if it weren’t for them. Thank you.

Pros: Everything: the room is super cozy and clean, the view is stunning, food is nice and the staff is awesome!we had an issue with our rented car and the staff helped us so much I don’t know how thankful we are!if going back to Wadi Musa, I have no doubt I will stay with them again
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff without exception were very helpful and friendly as well as being interesting people. The dinner, which cost 10JD, was excellent. Good food and with a good variety and in a abundant supply. I compared to restaurants in town and they couldn't compete. The dinners included lentil soup, three salads, rice, a main meat, and mixed veg as well as hot hot drinks and a sweet. There was a shuttle each day to the gates of Petra which was helpful. The view from the dining room and balcony was spectacular. Beautiful sunset views and a nice illumination of the mountains in the morning. It was peaceful at night and my room was cozy.
Cons: The rugs were bit worn and things a little dated but everything was in good working order and comfortable.
