Right away we received a text message asking if there was anything we needed. We asked for a late checkout and got it! Noticed The Waterfall wasn't flowing into the main pool? Whats up with that?
The room was clean, and the oceanfront view from our 5th floor location in the Ocean Tower was impressive. The Dolphin Quest experience, while expensive, was very much worth our time, especially for the time spent with dolphins--the guided snorkeling was not as good in their ocean-connected lagoon as it was out in some of the Hawaiian bays. Check-In: the check-in experience was awful. While I waited patiently in line using the line suggested by the velvet ropes constructed by the hotel, at least four other parties skipped over this line and cut directly in front of my wife and me, with no recognition from staff. I tried to speak up politely about this when I finally checked in, and I received a boilerplate response about sharing this information with the manager. Food: The food was extremely expensive and poor. A fairly basic hot breakfast for two came out to well over $70. In addition, a pizza dinner at "Dona and Tony's" was essentially a frozen pizza and cost well over $40. Housekeeping: In terms of housekeeping, one of our housekeepers (most likely unintentionally, but still) managed to throw out an expensive razor that we were storing on the bathroom tub, and on that same day the housekeeper also forgot to use a flat sheet when re-making the bed. Parking: Finally, I feel that the parking expense is outrageous. $25/day for self-parking (when valet is $30/day...plus tip), especially when your room is 0.8 miles away from your car.

It was a beautiful resort. The lagoon was great and the snorkeling was good. This would be a great place to stay if you have no complaints or issues. The staff is not helpful at all. Not the front desk, not at the restaurants. It's as if apathy and not luxury service should be the hotel motto. It is pervasive. We had an issue with smoke in our room. It was coming through the AC. They kept calling to apologize and offering assistance but when I would meet with the front desk they would do nothing. It is advertised as a non smoking facility.
Room is beautiful and the restaurants were excellent, maybe the large pool was excellent we landscaped and pool isn't to be at. Many activities to enjoy at the beach. The outdoor spa treatments are amazing! With the most friendly and helpful staff. Leaving, The only casual dining was at lunch.
The facilities are superb, the staff is outstanding, the food is very good (mainly breakfast). The snorkeling at the front beach is amazing. Lots is different and colorful fishes. Turtles also come by. Internet speed. Although it is reached wherever you are, it definitely lacks speed.
The property is breathtaking the moment you set foot in it. Sea turtles and beautiful fish swim right there in the lagoon with you. Staff is very attentive. Sunsets are incredible and the nice acoustic singer sets the perfect mood. They had a nice champagne in our room for our honeymoon. I chose this property after doing a LOT of research and the main reason was because there were a lot of activities for guests included with the stay (or so I thought). The brochure on their website is very misleading, it lists fitness activities without any pricing. My husband and I did Floating Yoga a couple of times and then I saw a charge of $20 per person per class on the final bill. I couldn't dispute it because apparently it was stated on the sign in sheet, but at 6:45am I really wasn't reading the fine print on what I was putting my name and room number on. The resort fee of $25 per day only includes parking and very slow wifi. Everything else is charged, even shaded chairs at the beach. Too many additional charges, in my opinion.
Hotel was okay but you can't compare to a four seasons. Need more people at the front desk. There are a lot of stray cats on the premises.
The housekeeping service, facilities, the restaurants, the pool area services, the sunset ritual the beach is terrible, the inconsistency in serving the same breakfast - the waffle was presented with and without additions, like whipped cream, spiced sugar, coconut sauce. Unacceptable.

The hotel is with good facility and big - located on the beach. The pool & spa is very nice. The beach is nice and having few people compare to Waikiki. We are arrived at late night - not easy to find the hotel on the highway.
Has one of the best beaches in Hawaii. Price was reasonable .staff could not do enough for you....
