An absolute disaster of a property. Dirty, poorly managed, facilities and amenities closed or non existent. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
Staff friendliness a bit uneven but good plus. We stay here when we visit DC, Good value, rooms are good and location excellent.
Pros. Clean. Nice. Comfy beds. Spacious rooms. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff
Cons. Parking!!!!! Add $30 a day to your room rate. That should have been noted when booking! Breakfast was implied through advertising but was not included. Pool is small, fine for business travelers but not really for kids.
Pros. I was expecting a newer and in better condition hotel. It clearly gets a lot of use as the furniature was scuffed up and he walks dirty. Also the breakfast closes at 10:30 and is really expensive. Good thing there's a Starbucks downstairs.
Cons. The condition of the hotel
Pros. I loved the rooftop view of DC. I could see the Washington Momuent and the Capital. The hotel overall was very peaceful. The decor is beautiful.
Pros. I really liked the contemporary feel to the hotel. Very spacious. Kids enjoyed the pool (small).
Cons. I am not sure how well the room in cleaned daily. We found an old "tissue" underneath the sink when we checked in. Towels were not always replaced even though we put them in an appropriate area. Other than that, fantastic stay. Parking stinks but that is the case everywhere in DC.
Pros. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. I really appreciated the free wifi.
Cons. Although the modern decor is nice, it looks like the hotel was done on the cheap. It will be interesting to see if it stays nice for long.
Pros. We arrived at the hotel exhausted after midnight. We had a bit of confusions going on our hotel reservation, which has been wrongly made for the day after when it was supposed to be that day. Patrick at concierge was the best in responding our inquiries and correcting the wrong booking information. He was courteous and sympathetic about our situation(our flight has been cancelled last might) and provided us with enough amenities like shampoo and soap. What I liked him about the most was his chill, but courteous and pleasant attitude. Other than that, the room was awesome. couldn't believe that I can book a room like that in the center of DC. Everything was new and clean. I like every single detail.
Pros. perfect location, very roomy, elegant and quiet. Excellent staff and very courteous. Definitely come back next time i have business in Washington DC.
Cons. no cons
Pros. Nice room to spread out in as a family of three Very clean Prompt valet service Helpful front desk Seemed to be in a cute up and coming neighborhood
Cons. Slow service at breakfast and dinner
