Great rooms. Like that you put key in to control air conditioner so weren't wasting energy while not there. EXCELLENT bathroom.
No free wifi in the rooms. Confusing information about how to get room service
If traveling with 3 people...
Signed up for a 3 person hotel room - was changed an extra $20 for a double bed attached to a dolly so that we all had a place to sleep....I guess the room can fit three but not the beds...beware. The concierge asked "will all three of you be sleeping in the king size bed?" I said "No, of course not. I signed up for a 3 person room..." anyway lost $20....
location, however many other hotels in the area. Very comfortable bed. Large Bathroom.
Small room. But overpriced.
Responsiveness of the staff
Attempt to park in such a small area
As of Aug 31, the lobby was undergoing renovations. I didn't know that prior to my arrival. Not a big deal, my room was perfect. Just a heads up for future goers. Valet parking was $45/day, but you can come and go as you please. They do have self parking that's a bit cheaper. Pick your poison.
As an upscale business hotel, The Westin Georgetown - Washington DC is simple but offers a great location for all travelers, including business travelers, wedding parties, families, and dog owners. In fact, this upscale hotel is known to cater to dogs through free boarding, plush beds, convenient water bowls, and yummy dog treats. The hotel is housed in a light-stone building amidst the corporate buildings and apartments of D.C.'s West End, a wrought-iron awning adds extra sophistication to the entrance. Located in the heart of the West End, the community is primarily dominated by corporate buildings. Popular attractions may be a hike, but neighboring luxury hotels offer restaurants, cafes, and bars. A 15-minute walk leads guests to Dupont Circle and Georgetown where more attractions and amenities await. Other popular attractions are just short drives away. The Westin offers a good variety of on-site features, including a large gym and an outdoor seasonal pool made for lap swimming. The Caucus Room Brasserie-Steakhouse offers French-inspired bistro and offers a kid’s menu on weekends. Boyeda, the bar, serves dinner all week and offers long happy hours. Business facilities and event space include a variety of indoor and outdoor units, including six smaller rooms and a huge contemporary ballroom. The 267 rooms and suites at The Westin come in a variety of sizes but all feature neutral decor, plus large bathrooms with walk-in rainfall showers and separate tubs. While the Presidential Suite offers a kitchenette, dining area, and its own pool table, all rooms come with standard amenities such as flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers with Starbuck coffee, and refrigerators and microwaves upon request. There are options for connecting rooms, renting cribs, and rollaway beds that make the hotel a good choice for families.
