Charming B&B with the most wonderful gardens. The Host was the best part of the stay for us. So friendly and interesting to talk to. Does not speak English (nor us very much French) but we conversed very well using her translator on her cell phone. Was so much fun to talk to her. She has a great sense of humor and was so very welcoming. We had read that she would prepare dinner for you if requested. We did and it was lovely. All made by her personally with wonderful touches. The location is just outside a very small town that closes up pretty early so if you do not eat at the B&B will need to journey back to Verdun. Spent the day before and after touring WWI sites.

Wow, what a wonderful experience staying with this lovely lady in her gorgeous home! Unfortunately, we only had one night to spend there but it was the highlight of our trip! I had read that she would make dinner on request, as we had been driving through the countryside and hadn't really found a place to eat, I had written to see if we could schedule dinner as well. The food was absolutely amazing! The house is gorgeous and Chantal is the most gracious host!! We used our Google translate app to communicate and had no problems. Breakfast came with 6 different homemade jams to choose from! I have already told my husband, we so have to go back sometime and stay again!!
Nothing, absolutely nothing
