Pool is on the 2nd floor roof top. It overlooks the light show in the pond at The Island. Bed was not comfortable and it's very pricey to be a hotel.
Location is perfect for strolling the parkway, dining, shopping, relaxing, and having an awesome time with your friends. The rooms are very comfortable and excellent house keeping. The hotel needs more room for checking in or needs to stagger check in times. We had to wait in our car in line for about 30 minutes to unpack, get valet service and check in. Also, disappointed that the gas to the fireplace was cut off on 4/1. The weather was unusually cold and it would have been very nice to be able to use the fireplace. We normally come in September when its 90 degrees and the fireplace is on but we have never been able to use it. Need to gauge it by the weather and not by a date on the calendar.
We loved being able to walk out the hotel door and have live entertainment and fun things for kids. Being able to shop onsite and have great food without driving anywhere is amazing. We could enjoy a drink at hotel bar and then go to watch the dancing water show in rocking chairs provided. We also went to Dollywood and it was great too. Also the staff was very helpful and rooms are amazing. Will definitely come back again. Fun place for all ages!! The only negative thing would be parking away from hotel. We didn't mind the walk and they have valet parking if needed.
I enjoyed the fact that the rooms have a very modern feel. The shower in itself was wonderful! The added bonuses of the fireplace and balcony was great. Would love to spend a romantic weekend getaway here in the near future. With all the nights we spent eating out, a free breakfast buffet would've made a big difference. We had to travel a ways off the property to eat breakfast.
Everyone was extremely friendly. Good southern hospitality. Queen bed was a little small for two adults.
Beautiful rooms. Great pool and atmosphere. Tons to do and see within a short drive. Could offer breakfast for the price. I would love to see the pool balcony open to adults only after the pool closes. Entire island shuts down at 11.
All rooms are on second floor. Our room/balcony overlooked village below. Rooms were spacious and beds are very comfortable. Nicely decorated. Nice private pool/bar area for guests on second floor. Great views. So many things to do/places to eat within short walking distance.
Bathroom was awesome
Very nice staff, brand new, lovely setting, family friendly, off the main drag so it is not noisy, plenty of activities Room wasn't ready @4:00 pm...but by 6:00pm after speaking to Curtis...MOD...he took great care of us...shout out to him!
fireworks and smokes every night, pool, shuttles to Dollywood, felt like I was on a cruise, my 8 yr old son loved his bunk beds!
I loved how safe and welcoming The Park Vista is. The family pool area was outstanding! Enjoyed! Ate dinner downstairs at the onsite dining area. Didn't care for the Greek Chicken w/Couscous. Very dry
The outdoor area around the hotel and the pool. Of course the cookies were fantastic!
We were told we would have two queen sized beds and received two full size beds. For paying as much as we did, not a very nice room at all.
It was very clean and staff was very helpful and nice The pool had way too much chlorine all the kids were coughing and their eyes were burning but the area was very clean.
Property is worn out and looks decades old in style. Just a very outdated atmosphere. Room did not get cleaned one day. Maid went in took his/her tip, barely took the trash out, and left everything as she/he found it.
The overall stay was great The staff could be better
Everything we expected and then some. Staff was courteous, and rooms were quiet. Can't wait to come back again.
Everything was wonderful and the price was also great
Pool and lounge facilities were top notch. Beautiful building. Amazing view. Because of the view though, you end up quite a ways outside of Gatlinburg proper. Also the bed was akin to a hammock, which my back objected to
Great view of Mount Le Conte. Above, and away from all the activity in Gatlinburg. Very friendly, and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. The restaurant was very nice; good service, good food. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. And the cookies at the front desk! We stayed for a week, most people/families don't, which means that there are a lot of rooms to turn over every day. House keeping has more than they can handle, and on two occasions our room was not cleaned until 5:00 P.M. Check in appears to take a while (that wasn't the case for us), not sure why.
When most lower rated hotels would offer a free breakfast we found few amenities. Very disappointed that even the popcorn was overpriced at $3 a bag -should have been free. Other than that the view was beautiful and a nice pool.
The outdoor pool is shut down and green . Looks like a frog pond!!! The hotel is pet friendly and we had a dog turd on our balcony upon check in and one in the carpet right by the dining table!
The room was large with two king comfortable beds and jacuzzi in room. I loved the bacony to watch the tubers and the geese in the river. Great location too and very quiet. My pet dog loved it too. The windows were large to view outside activity. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Enjoyed our stay plan on returning here one day. The only thing i didn't like was the elevator smelled of urine r cholrine couldn't decide. Carpets need to go just plain floor would work.
We were really excited to be traveling for the weekend just to get away. The pictures online make the motel look very nice. Once we arrived, we noticed that there was only ONE pool open, although online it seems there are TWO functioning pools. Of course the one that was open was absolutely packed! When we finally made our way to our room, it wasnt too bad; I have stayed in worse, but you could tell it had hardly been actually cleaned in some time now. As far as the price though, guess we just got what we paid for. I personally will probably spend a little bit more money and stay somewhere else next visit!
The rooms was great i took my fińace and my brotherand his girlfriend down for the weekend had no problenms The indoor pool is to small and the outside pool wasn't open small trade though for good rooms
The river view , jacuzzi tub, and fireplace The bottom outside of the toilet wasn't clean and the balcony outside was full of spiders at night. Other than that it was very peaceful
They waited for us to check in before they closed the front desk. Low to no staff, dirty overall, very outdated, the pool was closed due to costruction, the whole facility was under construction. My wife and I pulled up and jusy said " oh no" it was midnight we were tired and we were going to have to go in.
The Jacuzzi tub Everything was poorly maintained. The door to outside patio didn't latch.
I didnt pay what the rooms actully go for thank goodness. We read on line it had breakfast, it doesnt and when asked the staff were rude. They advertise 2 pools, there is only one and it is small.
The food choices were excellent. Th shows were funny and entertaining. Some very good talent. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. Our room was clean. The staff was nice and very helpful. Traffic was very heavy. There are alternative routes.
My family didn't like anything about this hotel The hotel was NASTY we walked into the office and there was roaches all over the floor. We thought we would give them a chance and went to the rooms. The beds had blood in the creases of the bed along with bugs. We immediately went to the lady in the office and she called us a liar so we asked for our money back (we booked three rooms for five days) she refused to give us our full refund and charged us for one night per room and was really rude about it. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone.
Loved the hot tub. Room was bright and for the most part clean. Room was evidently cleaned very fast. Beds were sloppy. found a childs sock under the front of the bed skirt. But everything else was ok.
Room was clean and very spacious. In-room whirlpool tub was relaxing. Staff was very pleasant to deal with. Balcony was covered with spider webs. Fireplace in the room didn't work. There was an issue with the elevator as we left out so we resorted to walking down then climbing 5 flights of stairs.
Great place to stay. We will definitely be back!
Closeness to everything, being right next to Christmas all year round, clean, easy to get to, easy left turn due to traffic light placement, on the water, storage in room/size of room, being able to change shower from rain to massage/multiple setting shower head, hot shower, good breakfast No ventilation in bathroom, no variety in breakfast (same stuff served every day)
I liked the location and the pool The staff was extremely rude and the rooms don't get cleaned after each person.
I have stayed in a lot of hotels and am fairly picky. I read the reviews and look at the pictures online. Econolodge exceeded my expectations in every way. Better than some Clarions I have stayed in, for half the price. Beautiful facility, very well maintained. Pretty lobby, excellent breakfast area and I loved the food. Small room but very comfortable, nice decor and everything very clean. A fridge and microwave and coffee maker. Nice flat screen TV and many channels. Pleasant courtyard outside our room. A pretty river next to the rear parking lot. Very friendly staff. Location is right in the middle of Pigeon Forge strip, next door to Christmas Place. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Breakfast was full and great every morning. The pool and hot tub was warm/hot and we loved that the pool was heated and indoor so you can swim year round regardless of rain or snow!! Rooms were cleaned daily and the river behind the property with the covered gazebo and grill/picnic tables was great along with the duck feeding area! Plenty of parking and not to mention this is right off veterans blvd which is within walking distance to The Christmas Place and many other great places on the strip in pigeon forge! Best location, loved our stay and we will be back!! The only thing we didn't like was that we had to go back home.
It's got a beautiful view of the water
Beds are heavenly. No bad comments
Baymont Inn is a decent location just off the main drag which was nice as it was away from the majority of the noise and nightlife. The room was clean and had a fireplace and a patio. Everything in the room was spacious except for the bathroom. Breakfast was good and they kept it stocked throughout. All rooms are accessed from the outside (no internal hallways). You don't have to go into the lobby to gain access to the stairs up to the room. The pool was warm however, it was over chlorinated like most hotel pools. Bathroom was very small and I could tell the place was slowly being updated. I think that the price for this hotel was a lot more than it should have been. This hotel would fit most people's needs its not the best nor the worst.
Staff was super friendly, breakfast every morning in the lobby was more than expected, and river views from room are amazing. About two blocks from town, shops and dining. There is a trolly right outside hotel if you don't/can't walk a lot. The stream sounds were fantastic! When walking into the room for the first time it was damp. We turned the fan in the bathroom on and opened the balcony door for a bit to let it air out. It never really seemed to 'dry out' in the room. That's okay, there was so much to do in and around town, we mostly slept there. You can hear traffic from parkway in the room.
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Its literally by the water front, the room has an incredible view of the mountains and the local hotels are neat and the town is very tourist friendly, there are local trolleys to help you get around. It's beautiful and full of cute shops, definately worth exploring.
Very nice place and convenient to Gatlinburg and all attractions. Free breakfast was good. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We will stay here again. It was a little hard at times to get in and out with all the traffic
Balcony on the river, comfortable beds, indoor pool, fire pit traffic noise
We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The room was great. Staff was very pleasant. We couldn't have asked for a better location. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. N/A
The Black Fox Lodge is tucked away back from all of the busy traffic of the main "strip" in Pigeon Forge, which we loved. Most hotels there are in the middle of the the flashy lights and constant traffic, but you turn off of the main road and you're greeted by a secluded, gorgeous lodge that feels like it's in its own little world. The details from the moment you drive up are amazing, and walking into the lobby is an incredibly impressive sight. There is a small river behind the hotel, and the rooms that overlook it are a lot of fun. The buffet style breakfast was far above the continental breakfast of most places, and the staff was all extra nice. Easily our favorite non-Disney hotel now, and we will absolutely be back. There was construction on the other side of the river making noise during the day, but that wasn't the hotel's fault and it's just temporary. The parking lot fills up very fast at night, but I think it's just that so many people have found and love this place and stay there.
Every one at the front desk was nice and polite After reading some of the reviews thought it was going to be a bad place, ask the front desk if we could see the rooms before we checked in. They gave us the room keys and allowed us to check the rooms out, everything was in good shape.
Nothing, I can't imagine a worst hotel room. Non-Smoking room that smelt like people were smoking in it the day before. Matress had springs coming out of it. It was loud all night. The fridge was pulled out of the cabnet to place a microwave on top that clearly had a cigarette burn through the top. Bathroom was wet when we got there and had plaster falling from the ceiling when we showered.
The fron desk staff were nice. Chemical smell was so bad that We had to change rooms. I have been sick since being in the room. Neither room was even close to clean. We went to another motel and stayed the next night. Breakfast was not good. The staff were nice and that is about all that place has going for it.
I liked that the room was ready earlier than stated. It was quiet during the night and we slept well. I was surprised that they were full to capacity most of our days but still very quiet. For the money, I will book here again. No problems at all. The only thing that we experienced was the free wi-fi was not good. We only got a signal one night. That is usually not a problem but still had some work-related business to check on during the week and could not get a connection.
Location was great have stayed here 2 other times and was great then. Checked in went to room and it hadn't even been cleaned. Then the next day they took all the towels and they never cleaned the room that day nor brought back any towels had to go and get our on towels.
Loved the location, price, free breakfast, and the rooms. Wifi didn't work half the time. Chain broke on door.
My husband and I walked to the island and even several shopping centers. It is very centrally located to lots of fun things to do. Perfect for pushing our son in his stroller instead of taking the time to pack him up into the truck. Pool was very nice but needs more shade for little ones. Only two small umbrellas were available. The place was an older hotel but you can tell they were doing updates to it. There were several flat screen tv boxes in the dumpster that was close to our room so you could tell they were in the process of doing some updates.
The staff was very friendly, the rooms were great and the location was great also.
Location Bugs in room, duct tape in shower, wash cloths plugging holes in ceiling tiles, staff not friendly or efficient, ice maker not working, no parking due to concert being held in parking lot.
The location is the best you can find for all the attractions! The wifi wasn't that great.
I like the convenience of everything near by. I didn't like, that a i wasn't able to have internet in the room.
i have no idea. i have no idea how kayak got involved but the confirmation came through as hotel.com for 454.00. this booking was for my daughter and her husband for their anniversary. luckily i called the resort the next day to make sure they would be able to check in since it was under my name and not theirs. well they had nothing in reserved! no rooms available. sooo.. i called hotels.com and they were great in correcting the problem and helped me get an even nicer resort and paid the difference. i will never use kayak again. i will directly call book straight thru to hotel.com next time so this never happens again. so glad i called ahead. dont know...didn't get to go!!!
Parking garage and elevator were very convenient. Hard to find luggage carts. Shower didn't work right.
Cleanliness, breakfast Nothing
This hotel was a great bargain. It has 2 hot tubs, a large indoor pool, an outdoor lazy river and a waterside. The continental breakfast was fantastic and they have complimentary cookies and popcorn each night. They also have complimentary water (flavored and regular) available 24/7. There is also a spa located at the hotel with a ton of services. Each staff member was so pleasant and welcoming. Location is great. We have found our new favorite hotel in OF! NOTHING!!!
The room was spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff was nice and helpful.
This is our second stay at Clarion Inn Dollywood. The first visit was pleasant and this trip was the same. Our room was clean, the desk staff was very good and the breakfast buffet was amazing. The door closure in our room is not calibrated correctly. Instead of closing slowly it slams as soon as you let go of it. There is no delay. This needs to be repaired before it injures an adult or small child.
having two queen beds that were very comfortable the air conditioner put out a bad smell
Everyone was nice rooms were amazing. Pool was nice n clean.
Location was good and close to attractions. Very clean. Had a problem with the hair dryer and they fixed immediately Not very quiet, could hear everyone talking loudly as they passed by our room. Curtains didn't close all the way. Pillows were not comfortable
Location Breakfast was great, but had to cross 4 lane highway to get it! Had room by elevator ... noise.
Perhaps the coziest stay that I've had in the area. The staff is wonderful! Very convenient to everything. I will stay here again.
Comfortable beds and friendly staff. Within close walking distance to restaurants and The Island.
pool staff location awesome wifi slow
Rooms were nice and clean. Main attraction at the waterpark was closed. The playground was also closed. We have two young children and we wanted to stay here because of the amenities but because they were closed we had to search out other things to do.
The mountains Air conditioner broke two times spilling water on the floor, and they never brought us toilet paper after two days of calling.
The room and view were great. Website was not clear about extra charge for pets. It states pets are welcome and there was an additional charge but no amount listed. I was expecting an extra $20 charge or so and was completely SHOCKED when at check in they told me it would be $170!!! I would not have booked the room had I known this especially since the rate for the room itself was only $109! Completely ridiculous charge.
Not much No TV ...had to wait 20 mins for shuttle to come when they had 50 golf carts with 6 seats in them pass you by no parking there should be at least 1 parking space per room or villa for 500 for 2 nights water park should be included not an extra 82 dollars next time we will stay at Wilderness of the Smokies
Property is well maintained and the staff are very courteous. Plenty of onsite activities every day to keep you busy. Minutes away from Gaylinburg and Pidgeon Forge
Staff was courteous and friendly, the room had every thing you could possibly need I couldn't believe it was a studio room. That I couldn't stay longer.
the staff was very responsive and went out of their way to help
The scenery near the resort The rooms, the prices. For a resort, you would assume that at least WIFI was inclusive in the room charge. Nope, it was not. They also try to get you to think that you won something at checking. It was thein 4 hr "come see why it's so good to be an owner" routine. That was the only time any kind of complimentary breakfast was mentioned!
Parking sucked. They will try to have you tour for discounted attractions-- seemed like a good idea but there 90 minute tour with a free breakfast turned out to be over 5 hours of salesmen in your face trying to sell you a timeshare. They waisted one whole day for our weekend vacation. I would much rather pay for the attraction then lose time with them trying to sell me a timeshare for that amount of time. Not upfront or honest. And the great breakfast you get for touring was terrible.
Service and beauty of resort and water park. great staff from check in to bellboy all the way to room. Nothing..
The staff and accommodations were excellent. I think for the cost to stay there, the water park and other amenities should be included.
It was cool to check out float tubes for free and float down the creek beside the hotel. Go cart track, arcade, and restaurants are all within walking distance. The pictures made it look like we would have more space in the rooms but It was essentially a regular hotel room with the bathroom in between the beds. The AC unit was on the wall at the entry door so the bed area by the balcony didn't get very cool. The AC unit also leaked and made the carpet by the bed sopping wet. The Wi Fi signal was HORRIBLE, and was useless! There is only one elevator and was very slow and small. You have to walk across a public street/road to get to the office and to the pool. The mattresses were so worn out it felt like they would break in half. I'm usually not so negative but it really was disappointing for our family on vacation!
I like the location, the price and everyone was very friendly. I also like the way the room was setup beds far apart with vanity in the middle. The view of the trailer/RV park and breakfast was just okay, not great.
Very nice and friendly staff. Easily accessible, close to everything. Great view of the river. Good stay overall. Balconies, not very private. There is a mesh metal between each balcony, you can see right through.
My room was never cleaned and no clean towels.
The divider of the room which is the bathroom. Limited parking under the building but it has a parking lot near the front office. Thanks for a pleasant stay, we had two rooms for our invited friends to stay.
Good room for the money. Love the River view and location. Chairs on balcony needed cleaning but were not so bad that we could not use them.
The view was great. Balcony was nice over looking stream. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Blood in elevator, rooms not ready, sheets appeared dirty. Couldn't stay there. Went somewhere else.
Our room was big with two Kings and the view of the creek outside was nice. Air was cold and there was a microwave and mini fridge in the room which was helpful. It seemed very family oriented as there were kids playing outside a good bit of the time we were there. It is in Pigeon Forge, but closer to the Gatlinburg side, so it's easy to maneuver to each location. Staff was very helpful when we needed them. No one cleaned our room our first day there so we had to contact the staff late at night for towels and toilet paper, but they helped us out quickly. They did clean our room the second day, but they also took one of my daughter's pillows...which we never saw again. The room is big, but it's laid out in a strange Jack and Jill bathroom format. The toilet and shower are in a bathroom, with a door. The sink and mirror are in between the two Kings, so it's nice to have some separation, but the way it's divided is odd.
Staff at desk were great. Cleaning staff were another story. Chargers for my electric items were stolen. They cost close to $20.00 a piece and there were 4 of them. One being to my cell phone and I don't know how much it will cost.
The bed are great... you just want to stay all day in these bed.
I liked being by the creek. Parking!
Over a six night stay, we were able to get very comfortable. Loved having a washer and dryer in my unit. Loved the lazy river, that was salt water and not chlorine. Met many unhappy families at 6pm waiting long hours trying to check their families in. This is a normal problem here and we saw families waiting in lobby on other days of our trip as well. Apparently they have a long term shortage of housekeeping staff for their two huge buildings. Bring your own towels, dish detergent and clothes detergent...and coffee. Maid will come in to take trash and wet towels, but that is it. Have your own towels on hand in case she does not arrive by the time you need more towels Unit had had a smoker in it previously. All of our clothes smell like smoke. We worked hard on trying to air out our unit during our stay. Bad WiFi kept kicking the kids phones off. Only lobby has fast wi fi.
The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was also nice to have cups of a usable size and the ability to make ice in the room. The "queen" size bed was anything but that. The water flow in the shower was weak and spotty and the bathroom supplies provided left a lot to be desired. We were staying for two nights, but our keycards were deactivated at check-out time the morning after we arrived, which wouldn't have been so big a deal except that the front desk was in another building so we had to drive over, get new keys, then drive back just to get something out of the room we forgot.
We love the pool and the room was very spacious and hotel staff was so nice The shower but told the staff and they said it would be took care of
We loved having a 2 bedroom- 2 bath condo. The water parks are great. Wonderful location for all the fun events. Helpful staff. WE ALL HAD A GREAT VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All was good.
I loved the staff and how well maintained the property was. That I couldn't say another night. I had a great time.
Room, fireplace, bed, location, heated pools and water slides Pricey,
We liked the location. It was within walking distance to almost everything. Loved to restaurant and the outdoor eating by the river. Service was poor but the atmosphere was worth it. Room was clean and spacious. Great view of the mountains. I would return again even though the pool was a disappointment. The pool was so dirty that we couldn't even swim in it. My granddaughter threw a swim stick in and we couldn't even find it. At night when the pool lights were shining, you could see bits of white floating all over.
We liked that it was so close to everything because we liked to walk. we really loved the ducks but couldn't figure out what happened to the baby ducks disappearing everyday The parking garage was way to tight. We could barely squeeze in there. then on the outside parking we found a spot but someone decided to take over both spots
Convenience to downtown attractions Great Views Price too high for a hotel with only 1 functional pool, old dirty rooms, no breakfast options.
Good location, nice views Rooms looking run-down, bathtub has been painted. $170 non-refundable pet charge is ridiculous for a 2 night stay.
Great place to stay for biz, fam, quiet get away or even younger groups for folks. Several buildings on property and they grouped everyone well. Kayak by far had the best rate! I usually use Booking but they weren't the lowest this time. The others didn't even have availability listed. The pool was shut down due to repairs, but it just looked temporary. Also, the Drafts sports bar on the property had weird hours and just kinda strange folks working there.
Location was good ,priced ok, Breakfast plain oatmeal ,zero fruit, worst I have seen ,usually have eggs and more choices
We needed extra linen for my mother-in-law. She caked to the front desk for some and am employee arrived with some within 5 minutes of her hanging up. Check-in isn't until 4 and check out is at 10. I have checked into a lot of hotels before and they've been busy at times, but the wait to check in here was unbelievable. I think it took about 15-20 minutes to finally get to the desk and walk out with keys. We had the pleasure of leaving just before 10 and noticed the housekeeping didn't have any new linen on their carts. Maybe there is a separate one that comes through but we were under the assumption that the sheets aren't changed after each stay.
Staff was friendly and fantastic. I liked the location. Carpets need replaced and the room was a little dated but over all a very good experience
Location is great, just a block away from the strip. Walking distance to everything. Sheets and towels were clean. Extremely outdated. I'm sure this hotel was very nice in 1980 but not much has changed since then. TV is the only update. Place looks dirty just from years and years of use. The room smelled like a dead animal. Smell was coming from the refrigerator. We only stayed two nights so we just toughed it out. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
The balcony Everything was totally outdated,19 years ago I bought the same TV that was in my room.Bath was so stained we didn't even shower in it.Carpet was outdated ,torn and had paint stains on it.The Vertical blind didn't work properly, had to close some of the vanes by hand.Furnuture was From the 80's and worn. Weekend rate paid $$$ and was horrible dissapointment
Nice Location Quiet Pretty view Value for the money A little dated Pillows were flat
This place is right next to the aquarium and right in town in Gatlinburg so it's an easy walk to everything. You do get a fairly good view either of the water or an overview of the city. The rooms are a bit outdated. My coffee wasn't replenished everyday
The cleaning staff was very nice and the riverfront was a plus. There were ants in our room. The minifridge became unplugged sometime when we were asleep the first night and ruined our food in the fridge. When you entered the room the smell was unpleasant and somewhat over powering, took a while to adjust to it.
After reading some reviews after booking our stay I was worried... we arrived & the staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, a/c worked great, ice machines worked. I found no merit to some concerns addressed in others reviews. Yes this is a older motel but not rundown & I would stay again. We were courtside (across the street) & it was very peaceful. Nothing
Our stay was great. We would definitely stay again. Rooms were very nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Pool area was great as well. Best thing was it's location to downtown we were able to walk every where just about. Only complaint would be that their towels were to small.
There were roaches in room. Staff was nice but we won't stay there again.
The location and the indoor pool were great. Our room was very small and smelled like mildew/mold. The hotel is very outdated and not very clean. The Wifi did not work most of the time and the shower water kept going from scalding hot to cold without touching anything. We also were put in a "pet friendly" room, which I would NEVER stay in again. If I had known that part of the hotel was "pet friendly" I would have never booked there. We will never stay at this hotel again.
Very affordable, close to the shopping strip & attractions but a little more of a walk than I expected especially with small kids! I think our kids liked the pool more than they liked the actual vacation itself! I was happy to stay there though! The pool wasn't very easy to access at all, our room we were given at check in had not been cleaned up from a prior maintenance job but the front desk took care of us right away and put us in another room. We ended up being by the creek which was really nice.
Great staff, very friendly. The staff were the highlight of this experience. The rooms were average with the standard motel options. Location was close enough that you could walk to the main attractions. For the price it was worth it. The Wi-Fi only worked at the main building and a bit beyond. Did not see any breakfast options available but a fantastic pancake house was nearby. Bathrooms needed updated.
We enjoyed the following... Big, warm indoor pool Creek directly under room balcony Comfortable beds Friendly staff Location On-site breakfast Quiet rooms Bathrooms could use a few updates. It was also a cold walk outside from the indoor pool to our room but that's just part of being an older/motel-style establishment.
Ask for the creek side rooms with balconys! Hearing the creek from your room was great. Their indoor pool is what sells this place for me and my family. It's a fun pool, with waterfall and hot tub. You can't beat the value for the location and amenities. It's not very fancy or new, but if you're not a fancy person then you'll love it.
The pools Parking needs some work
it reminded me of Gatlinburg when I was growing up. Simple, clean motel. Off the parkway so it was nice and quiet, but still just a short walk to the main drag. AMAZING pool!!! Unbeatable price, and super friendly staff. We will be back!
Rate and location N/A
Staff was nice, pool was enjoyable for my kids, and location was very convenient The room was rough. It had outlets that were hanging out of the wall that we could shake and cause the lights to flicker. The bathroom tub was cracked and chipped. The beds were very hard and none of my family of 4 got much sleep on them. The "breakfast area" was the size of a walk in closet with several waffle irons and toasters which made it too hot to go in, and the couple of tables they had were always full so my family never had a place to sit.
Room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was within walking distance of where we wanted to go.
pool management, room was not clean, dirty pillow cases , tub didn't drain. overall experience was awefull
Staff very friendly and helpful older but bang for your buck, beds clean and comfortable and bathroom clean decent breakfast selection, overall very pleased with stay there, I was there to ride motorcycle in the park so my needs were comfortable bed and clean bathroom I only slept and showered didn't need room accommodations like being home just needed clean, location is close enough to walk uptown to eat with no issues Carpet worn but that's expected with the volume of people that stay in Gatlinburg, and small issue with shower head leaking from crack in screw on connection
I bought two rooms at noon on the same day we needed to stay. We arrived shortly after I made the reservation and the desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the rooms were not ready yet but we really didn't expect them to be as it was just about noon. When we came back at 3 they were ready. We found them to be clean and well cared for. No complaints at all Nothing
It was close to town. The beds were very uncomfortable, bathroom was in bad shape, plugs didn't work and the room had a bad oder.
These guys just recovered from a natural disaster. The city had just burned down a month before our stay, and all things concidered they had done a bang up job getting things back to order. Only thing that got over looked was a problem with the cable box.
1/4 mile walk to mall Where to start! Rooms need updating bad! Hard beds, Old tv, lights over the sink wouldn't come on. Shower head spraying in every direction. Water stain in roof tiles, tolite handle broken, bathroom heater switch was turned side ways. Not good not good at all
It had a fireplace. White stuff on the curtains, holes in curtains, not enough parking spaces, there were spaces taken up by debris and those that weren't guests. We had make our own parking space. Old mattresses and chair were in the parking lot. All I could think was, "I hope they don't plan on taking those mattresses back in."
Price was right Rooms smelled musty and old
I looked for a cheap place to stay, and that's what this is. Not the Ritz, but when you want cheap, what do you expect? We slept, there was a fridge, hot water, towels. We survived. :) It's located within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg, and that's pretty much what I wanted. No ventilation in bathroom makes for a very steamy shower (and very quiet bowel relieving process, if you get my drift.) The sink was sorta falling off the wall. Ordered a king bed, got two queens. (Not end of the world, just use one for recreation and one for sleeping!)
The girls at the counter we nice and helpful. The view and location was great. It was quiet. It was good for us as we were not around all day as we only slept there mostly. The pool is nice. The breakfast was boring. I bought eggs and meat and made them in the microwave every morning to give us more for day. They are renovating so I'm sure it will be nicer when it's done. The wifi was awful I had to go to the front desk area to to use it. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay it's fine but if you are hanging around then upgrade to a better place. There is no coffee maker or microwave in rooms only a fridge.
The room was very clean and alots of room. The breakfast was good. We ate there every morning. When we where in our room you could here alots of noise from the hallway. The bed was too hard !
Friendly staff, quick check in and check out, room was clean and comfortable, pool was great and clean, and the hotel is right in the middle of all the attractions. Overall very happy with our stay. Nothing negative to report.
The kids running up and down the halls late at night. Yelling and very noisy. Parents should exercise more control.
Rooms were clean and I had no issues. Exercise room was terrible. Had cheap and broken equipment.
Lee had a very nice stay. Friendly staff. Clean comfortable room. Great value for money. Only issue was the noise. Walls are, thin, so we could hear a lot of noise from next room and from, hall
The stay was good - it was nothing exceptional, but the rooms were clean and staff was friendly. no issues
Nice staff Rooms were old. Semi dirty. Only had one towel. For under 100 a night not bad.
Had a noise from outside room that we were told was a maintenance something for the pool. Went on for an hour and we told the front desk about it. A maintenance person came up to see about it but said he could do nothing about it. It did stop but started again later but did not go on very long.
The continental breakfast was very good with a wide selection of eggs, toast, make your own waffles, hot & cold cereal, muffins, 3 types of juices, fruit, and more. The hotel was conveniently located to many attractions and restaurants. We had trouble finding three working outlets to plug our phones and fit bits. The hotel had a small indoor pool but did not advertise it that way.
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in the king suite with the whirlpool. It was a great value for the price and a great location (right in the middle of many Pigeon Forge attractions). There was plenty of parking and the front lobby receptionist was helpful and polite. The walls did seem to be thin as you could always hear anytime people were talking in the hallway. Still would stay again though!
Comfortable, clean and at a convenient location. Free wifi. Friendly staff! Breakfast was ok. But, for the price we didnt mind eating out.
Very good breakfast, location and service.
