Pros (+) Quiet, quaint, historic hotel. Easy entrance to Glacier National Park. Beautiful old lodge that is clean, comfortable, groovy soaps & restaurant. Fun to sleep with windows open listening to the birds & smelling the fresh air
Cons (-) I didn't mind any of the following as it is part of the ambiance, but if you are sensitive to noise, the old wood floors in the hallway are creaky as people walk down them, and noise could carry easily through the doors. Everyone knew this and was respectfully quiet. I would NEVER want to take my kiddos here, though, as I could not keep them quiet enough. Also train runs nearby through the night. ...
