Around the corner from the Sunset Strip, this sensual retreat welcomes artists, bohemenians, film stars and unconventional businessmen into its fold. For those who seek bohemian cuisine in an eclectic setting, look no further than their Butterfly Bar and Garden, where alligator sausage and mint, and rattlesnake rillette await. Yum!
Old-world decadence, romance and luxury
The 80 opulent suites of the Petit Ermitage are individually decorated and feature signature mattresses, sitting areas, kitchenettes or wet bars and Waterworks bath fixtures. Beyond the luxurious suites, the Petit Ermitage is also a splendid setting for weddings, product launches, conferences, photo and film shoots. Meanwhile, the resident chef ensures gourmets are well-cared for with his North African specialties. On Monday nights, guests can cuddle up under the stars and catch some world cinema on the Firedeck rooftop. The best part of the roof terrace is the heated saltwater European pool, where guests can enjoy 360 degree views of the Hollywood Hills. Petit Ermitage is indeed a sophisticated, adult getaway that won't disappoint. After all, the hotel's Bohemian Manifesto demands that you live richly and irreverently, beyond convention.
Situated at the crossroads of West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, the Petit Ermitage is within reach of many attractions, including shopping (Rodeo Drive, Melrose Avenue), nightlife (Sunset Strip), the arts (Getty Center) and even the beaches, which are just 10 miles away.
For a fair price I enjoyed a very pleasant suite in a building with character in a quiet, pleasant, convenient neighborhood. The roof deck was, as promised, charming. Nothing
I like the garden at the top as well as the swimmingpool. The food was great. the service good as well. The rooms could look a bit better... but my main concern was the lift! The slowest lift ever! that was really bad...
