Pros. Check-in was quick and front desk friendly. Bed was fine, desk setup was good with plenty of room to work with a laptop and AC outlets for chargers, etc. Location is on a main street off of I-20, so lots of stores and restaurants are nearby.
Cons. Due to the location, traffic around the hotel is very heavy and the traffic noise is quite loud. My room faced the main street. A room on the backside of the building would have been less noisy. There is a busy Mexican restaurant next door which contributed to the overall noise level. No coffee maker in the room but that seems to be the norm nowadays. A small bit of mold in the corner of the bathtub but otherwise the room appeared clean.
Pros. Good location, decent room, good value, nice staff.
Cons. Non iron, no gym, no breakfast.
Pros. We checked in without a hitch, I noticed the check in desk is just that, a desk. No lobby. No facilities for breakfast or anything. There is a Waffle House across the street though. Room was adequate with comfortable bed and small television, but no hair dryer or microwave/coffee pot
Cons. Even though there is a big notice that there is a $200 charge for smoking in the room, there was still a pretty strong smoke odor when we opened the door. It aired out fairly quickly but was still noticeable. Rooms open to outside walkway so you can hear the highway traffic more easily
